While playing GTA 5, I was trying to have fun with a friend in a heist when another player killed me and stole my car. After retaliating, I asked him to stop so I could enjoy the game with my friend. Instead, he started hurling offensive comments at me, making me feel really upset. Despite my attempts to ignore him, he continued to harass me, even following me to different servers. This behavior, including derogatory remarks about my family, particularly affected me as my brother is gay. Eventually, in a moment of frustration, I responded in kind and got banned from PlayStation for a week. I'm really keen to continue gaming, especially with the new weapons in Warzone and my friends striving for diamond in Rocket League. I sincerely hope to be unbanned soon so I can join them in the fun.

Hello, on July 18th, I created a new Playstation Network account under the name York Yt. However, upon completion, my account seemed to have transformed into the DanielRooney_09 account, causing the disappearance of [redacted] of my trophies. Initially, the DanielRooney_09 account had [redacted] trophies, but this number dwindled to 27. Additionally, a portion of my games that were linked to my trophies vanished. I had previously used other accounts named Batman Lacey and DanielRooney_09, which somehow got mixed up during this process, resulting in the York Yt account. I'm frustrated with the situation involving my son being banned from the system after he was disrespected by another user. I find it unfair that my son got banned when all he did was ask for a 1v1 match. It's unacceptable that he was banned multiple times, especially considering I just spent $50 on a card. I expect a full reimbursement. The disrespectful user, Imaginbeingu69, should be banned for their inappropriate behavior. I urge the company to take action against such behavior. I had a disagreement with someone while playing a game, and I may have said something negative about their skills. I quickly apologized, and we moved on. However, I was surprised to find out I got banned from Sony shortly after. I understand the need for a friendly community, but I don't believe my comment warranted a ban, especially considering I apologized right away. Is there a way to reduce the ban duration or have it lifted altogether?

I've had my PS5 for 8 months and I'm experiencing severe latency and ping spikes while playing online games. Despite my signal strength being between 50-70, I've tried adjusting the setup and switching from 2.4ghz to 5ghz, but the issue persists. My other devices like the PS4, PC, and phone have no connectivity problems. After contacting my broadband provider, they confirmed there are no issues with the connection. Speed tests on my PS5 show download speeds of [redacted]-200mbps and upload speeds of 30-50mbps. I've exhausted all troubleshooting steps, and it seems the problem lies with the PS5. I'm unable to use an Ethernet connection, so that suggestion is not feasible. The fact that a next-gen console performs worse than its predecessors like the PS3 and PS4 is concerning. Many others on forums are facing similar issues without any resolution. I would greatly appreciate resolving this matter as it's affecting my mental health and ability to play with friends.

I contacted the technical support regarding the suspension of my account, and I received an email stating that I owe $11.53. The email mentioned to send codes to cover this amount, so I sent a $20 code, more than enough to clear the debt. However, a follow-up email claimed the code was insufficient, which is incorrect as my debt is less than the value of the card I provided. Furthermore, there was an issue because the email mentioned that the code I sent had already been redeemed, which is impossible. I have the purchase receipt and can provide a photo to prove that the card was not used.

While attempting to format my USB storage device, I encountered an error stating, "The connection to the USB storage device has been lost." I searched for error code CE-[redacted]-9 online and on PlayStation support but found no information. I recently logged out of my PSN account on my PS4 only to encounter issues logging back in. Despite entering what I believe to be the correct password, I kept receiving an "incorrect password" message. After attempting to reset my password, I did not receive any email with a reset link. Upon checking my emails, I discovered a notification about a change in the sign-in ID (email address) associated with my account. My account is still linked to my previous PlayStation console which is no longer working. I have a new console now, but I can't set it as the primary one because it's linked to the old account. I've already used the method that allows changing every 6 months. I kindly request to deactivate my account from all other consoles so I can set it as primary on my current one.

I woke up this morning to find that my account has been temporarily banned. I'm kindly requesting for my account to be unbanned. Yesterday evening, my cousins were over and they got into an argument with another player via voice chat on "For Honor" leading to them sending an offensive message. I immediately intervened, asked them to delete it, and advised them to block the other player as I was concerned it could get me into trouble, which unfortunately happened. I really wish to have my account reinstated as I have recently made a purchase that includes a limited-time boost that I don't want to lose. I submitted a claim to PayPal regarding a double charge of $7.99 on my PlayStation account. PayPal rejected the claim the following day, so no money was taken from my account. Now, PSN is stating that I owe $68, suggesting I settle this with my bank. However, I truly believe I do not owe anything. I am ready to pay the $68 to restore my account, but unfortunately, I am unable to access it at this time.

I submitted a claim to PayPal regarding a $7.99 fee that was charged twice on my PlayStation account. PayPal denied the claim the following day, and the money was not taken from my account. Now, PSN is stating I owe $68 and need to resolve it through my bank, even though I believe I do not owe anything. I am prepared to pay the amount they claim I owe to restore my account, but I am unable to access it currently. I am hoping to settle the amount to regain access to my account.

I have a PlayStation 4 account with purchased games. I had to pawn the console for a while. Upon retrieving it, I discovered that the account with my games is no longer set as primary on the PS4. All my games are inaccessible on other accounts, and I did not deactivate primary settings online or on the system. Now, I am required to wait six months due to someone else disabling these settings. I simply wish to regain access to my account to be able to play my games again.

I recently noticed unfamiliar charges on my account and contacted the bank to have them reversed. All the funds were returned, but my PlayStation account got suspended afterward. Despite multiple attempts to reach out through calls and emails, I couldn't get a resolution. It turns out a friend made purchases on my account while I was logged in at their place without logging out. They have reimbursed me since. I realize now that I should have informed Sony initially. An unauthorized charge of R749.00 appeared on my account on July 16, [redacted]. After contacting my bank to reverse this charge, I was informed that if I proceeded, Playstation would block my son's PS4 account. I cannot accept this deduction as I paid a significant amount for this device and did not give permission for such a transaction. When I requested a refund, I was informed that it would render the PS4 useless to my son. I suspect that someone attempted to hack my son's account. A person in a group chat asked to switch accounts, and despite my son seeing the information, he did not attempt to use it. The next day, he was unable to access his PlayStation account, suggesting he may have been targeted for not responding. It seems like the situation was twisted to make it appear as though he was the one trying to hack, which was not the case at all. This incident occurred on June 16th, [redacted], and my son, who spends all his allowance money on his account, has been locked out since then. He has never engaged in hacking and wants to recover his account to reconnect with his friends. He has learned his lesson about joining group chats with strangers and is keen to regain access to his account.
