Hello, I'm Yvette Donovan, a new hire at Panera in San Rafael, CA. I require a pay stub by Monday to provide proof of employment for my Medi-Cal and disability benefits. This documentation is necessary to maintain my benefits. I also need information on my hourly wage and pay frequency as a café assistant. Please fax the requested details, including the pay stub, to Elpida House at [redacted], where my case manager, Marie Cantrell, will assist further. You can reach Marie directly at [redacted] for any queries. Thank you.

I frequent my local Panera in Mooresville about four times a week, usually through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the service has been slow, with over 10 minutes of wait time on average. Deciding to go inside for a change, I was met with even worse service. The manager was seen shouting at employees, creating a tense atmosphere. When I inquired about my order after waiting for 12 minutes, I was met with attitude. The only silver lining was a new trainee who was very polite despite the negative environment set by the manager. Although a staff member did apologize and offer a coupon for the wait, I am hoping for faster service and a more positive attitude from the team. Despite some friendly staff members, the overall leadership appears to be lacking in positivity. Hoping for improvements to enhance the customer experience.

I've been at Panera for two days now, and unfortunately, the heat has been inadequate. Many customers are eating with their coats and scarves on. I usually enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace, but despite asking the manager, it hasn't been turned on since yesterday, 12/2. The manager attempted to adjust the heat briefly yesterday, but it didn't last. Despite my attempts to address my concerns with him at my table, he never showed up. The same issue persisted today, 12/3, with temperatures around 39 degrees Fahrenheit. After spending hours here studying, I ended up leaving with a runny nose and sniffling. This situation is uncomfortable, especially for extended stays and studying. This is happening at Poplar and I-[redacted] in Memphis, TN.

I visited Panera Bread at cafe#[redacted] and was greeted by a young man who took my order but forgot to give me a cup. When I realized this at my table, I returned to get my cup, only to be told by the same man that I had to pay for it again. I asked to speak to the manager, but he claimed to be the shift supervisor. Despite my explanation, he insisted I pay for the cup. This experience was disappointing, and I expect to receive all items I paid for without any issues. I'm unsure how this establishment is managed, but this incident has left me hesitant to return to that particular Panera location.

I have been a regular customer at Panera Bread in Lewisburg Cafe #[redacted], but recently my experiences have been deteriorating. Today, I visited for lunch, and unfortunately, encountered a shift supervisor named Emily Blackman. While she is usually friendly, her behavior towards me and my order modifications was excessively rude. To make matters worse, when I received my food, it appeared that the modifications were not included. Since I cannot consume cheese and my salad was covered in feta, I was unable to eat it. Due to time constraints, I couldn't have my meal remade, and as a result, I went without lunch today.

I recently purchased a triple chocolate cookie from the Panera Bread in Malta, NY. To my disappointment, it was one of the worst cookies I have ever tasted. It lacked any chocolate flavor and just tasted like pure sugar. When I raised my concerns at the counter, they directed me to contact Panera directly. I am a frequent visitor to your store mainly for the soups and bread, but this cookie experience was very disappointing. After just one bite, I had to discard the cookie.

I arrived at the cafe just before closing time to pick up my order. The manager seemed annoyed that I was there and gave me attitude the entire time. My cup was missing from my order, and when I asked her for it, she rolled her eyes and sighed. I don't understand why she was so frustrated, but she made it clear she wanted to close up. This occurred on the evening of December 10 at the Lewisburg Panera.

This afternoon, I visited the Rockaway NJ Panera outside the Rockaway Mall after a challenging Christmas Shopping trip. Being in need of hip replacement surgery soon, finding it tough to walk with a cane, I was exhausted. When my meal arrived unexpectedly at my table after ordering water, I was so grateful for the kind gesture from a young lady named "Wellani" (not sure of the spelling). She even offered to bring me the water, showing genuine care and concern. I truly appreciated her act of kindness and hope she receives recognition for her thoughtfulness. Thank you, "Wellani," for your help and support! Blessings to you.

I visited Panera with my son on 12/11. I ordered a kids ham sandwich and received half a sandwich and soup instead. Initially, I was brought a bowl with lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese but no baguette. The staff member claimed it was a sandwich without bread, which was not what I had requested. When our correct order arrived, the amount of ham in both my sandwich and my son's was so minimal that it didn't even equate to half of a kids sandwich, and the ham was dried and curled up. My 7-year-old son even remarked that our previous visits had been much better. I have been increasingly disappointed with the food at Panera lately, and this experience was the worst. I paid $22 for food that was inedible.

I visited Panera at Ohio I-89/90 rest area on 12-11-[redacted]. I ordered a multigrain bagel made from leftover dough which was small and weighed 59 grams, measuring 3.5” in diameter and 1.5” thick. Despite a regular-sized bagel being available, my complaint went unanswered due to a busy counter. I left without a response or apology. I have photos of the bagel and receipt for your review. Please provide your email address so I can send them for further assistance. Thank you. - A loyal customer

Hello Customer Service, I am a regular at Panera and usually order a large Greek Salad. I often rely on a $1 coupon to afford the salad and a drink. I recently ordered the Greek Salad on Sunday, December 1st, and was charged $6.69, which I found to be high for romaine lettuce and onions. I requested extra onions, but only received two slivers. The service was accompanied by the staff complaining about their hours and coworkers. The dining area was messy, with the foyer floor appearing unmopped for months. The beverage area was overflowing with trash on the floor, and many tables were dirty with dishes left behind. Used dishes were piled near the trash bins by the windows. I am unsure why tipping is expected for counter service at Panera. I wanted to share my experience during my last visit. I initially emailed my concerns to [redacted] with attached pictures on December 10th, but have not received a response. Sincerely, Christine T. Crisis Counselor Behavioral Health Response

I went to Panera Bread at café#[redacted] located at [redacted] Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL [redacted] on 12-15-[redacted]. I ordered a pick 2 meal and while eating my sandwich, I discovered a black hair in it. I informed the server who then notified another employee. They apologized and mentioned that the manager would speak to me, but unfortunately, he never did. I mentioned this to the server, but the manager did not come. I believe that as a manager, he should have addressed the issue. My son's order seemed okay, but finding hair in my food was quite disappointing.

I just found out that my local Panera will no longer be offering Baked Potato Soup! This soup is a favorite of mine and my mother's; we make it a point to visit Panera every Monday and Wednesday just for this soup. We are both saddened by this news and are confused why they would discontinue it. It's disappointing enough for us to consider not visiting Panera at all, any day of the week. We are loyal customers who frequent the restaurant at least 3 to 4 days a week. This change is really disheartening for us.

I would like to bring to your attention the music played in the stores during the holiday season. While the volume issue has been resolved, the repetitive looped music is not well-received by the customers. I suggest considering switching to local quality stations like [redacted].7 and [redacted].1 FM, which provide music without lyrics. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Alan D., USN (retired)

Dear all, I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the team at the Panera Bread location in Tinley Park, Illinois. As the owner of Dusties Buffet and Kenny’s Ribs in Matteson, IL, I value high standards in food service. I was particularly impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of team manager, Stacey, and the rest of the staff during my recent visit. Although there was a slight delay with my soup order, I appreciated witnessing the team's dedication to quality. I commend Panera Bread for their excellent training programs. My sincere thanks to the entire team at the Tinley Park location for their outstanding work. I hope this message reaches the appropriate departments within Panera Bread to acknowledge the great performance displayed by Stacey and her team. Thank you.

On January 4, [redacted], around 11 am at the San Luis Obispo, CA Panera Bread, my wife and I had lunch. I ordered a whole tuna salad sandwich and found a long, dark 8-inch hair in the second half of my sandwich after biting into it. Despite my own short dark hair and my wife's white/blond hair, I was alarmed by this discovery and showed my wife before alerting the staff. The response from the employees, particularly a younger lady without a head covering, accusing me of planting the hair for a free meal was completely unacceptable. Even after a refund was offered, it took explaining in detail how the hair was mixed into the tuna for them to believe me. The whole ordeal was disheartening, and the lack of proper food handling procedures and hospitality training was evident. This experience has left us feeling personally offended and we will not be returning to this Panera location. It was disappointing to have to prove our honesty in such a situation where basic food safety measures should have prevented this incident.

Today, I visited the Panera location in Naples on Collier and 41. I placed an online order for breakfast and noticed three empty coffee pots upon arrival. I informed the staff at the food pickups, but they seemed aware of the situation and took about 18 minutes to refill the coffee pots. I was disappointed by the lack of attention to the coffee station and reliance on customer complaints to address issues. It was frustrating to see customers waiting with empty cups for coffee. The overall system for managing the coffee supply seemed inefficient and poorly designed. Despite having my breakfast, I had to go without coffee. It was quite a disappointing experience.

My husband and I recently visited the Panera in Auburn, Calif., and ordered a whole sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup at the cost of $19.38. We found the pricing to be unreasonable as we were charged separately for the halves of the sandwich even though we intended to share it. The cashier explained one half cost more due to the bread used but did not address our concerns. Additionally, we were charged $4.39 for the cup of soup, which was not accurate considering our order. We believe we were overcharged by at least $7.50 and would appreciate a voucher or credit to rectify the situation. It was disappointing to receive such small portions and be billed incorrectly. Our transaction number was [redacted] on Order #[redacted], Check #[redacted] at 12:51 on 12/31/19 at Panera Bread Café [redacted] in Auburn, Ca. We hope this matter can be resolved appropriately. Thank you, Diane.

I visited Panera in Wall Township, New Jersey tonight with my mother and daughter. It wasn't crowded when we ordered. When I asked for iced tea, I was informed that the machine was being cleaned. I inquired about lemons, and the worker mentioned there was only one left. The area had stacked dishes near the trash, and the floor was extremely dirty with visible crumbs even on our seats. We had to clear them off before sitting. Despite the slow pace, the lack of cleanliness and assistance was disappointing. The workers seemed indifferent, which made me question their priorities. Customers deserve better service. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location.

I am currently at the Panera cafe on Seal Beach Blvd, and I was informed that they have run out of Panera membership cards with the 12 digits. This prevents me from registering online, hindering me from taking advantage of the unlimited coffee membership offer. It seems odd that such a popular program would not have alternative methods for registration, especially when some customers were able to register without the physical card in the past. It would be appreciated if Panera could make accommodations for this issue to ensure all customers can access the benefits of the membership. Thank you.
