I purchased a flight ticket from Opodo on Arkia Airlines for a trip from TLV to BCN on 10.1.[redacted] and returning on 17.1.[redacted]. The issue is that my name is Orry Sarfaty, but in the email confirmation, they mistakenly wrote Orri instead of Orry. I have been trying to contact them for two weeks now to correct the name, but every time I call, I get a different explanation. They want to charge me $[redacted] for the name correction, while Arkia Airlines informed me it should only be $80. I have not received any help, and they even claimed they tried to call me when they haven't. If they don't resolve this soon, I will lose my money because I won't be able to use the ticket. They initially suggested canceling and rebooking, which is unnecessary. I urgently need Opodo to issue a new ticket with the correct name.

I have made a booking on Opodo for four colleagues traveling from Istanbul SAW airport to Australia via Doha on January 16th, returning on January 21st. I realized I would prefer to depart from Istanbul Ataturk rather than SAW but was informed by Opodo of a large penalty to make this change. I am now considering cancelling the entire reservation. I recently made a booking for a return flight and hotel in Vietnam through an online platform. Upon reviewing my booking details, I noticed a discrepancy where my hotel reservation starts a day earlier than my actual arrival date. I contacted Opodo customer service by phone; however, the process was quite frustrating with long wait times and multiple back-and-forth discussions with the agent. Despite the inconvenience caused by the booking system's error, the representative only agreed to make the necessary changes without offering a refund for the extra night. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation as I believe the mistake was not mine but a glitch in their system. Ultimately, after a prolonged conversation, the agent agreed to correct the booking at no additional cost but failed to provide me with a confirmation via email as promised. I hope for a refund of £20 for the unnecessary night and for assurance that the hotel is informed of my late check-in on the 31st of March.

I made a reservation for a holiday package to Cape Verde on Wednesday, 26/02/[redacted]. Shortly after booking, I received an email stating that it was in process. The following day, I received emails claiming my card was declined, followed by another confirming my hotel booking. I contacted my bank, which confirmed no issues with my card or payment. I have used this same bank account for previous holiday bookings without any problems. After contacting customer service and speaking to multiple representatives for hours, I was asked to pay double the initial booking amount, which I cannot afford. As I am unable to afford the flight in the package deal, I am requesting a refund for the hotel portion of the booking.

On Friday, March 1st, I made a booking for 2 flights via Opodo, with one return flight from Gatwick to Santorini for 4 people. I promptly received confirmation and ticket information from easyJet for the return flight. However, I did not receive any confirmation or ticket information from Norwegian Airlines for the outgoing flight. After checking my bank account, I noticed the payment for the return flight was deducted, without any information from Norwegian Airlines. To rectify this, I booked 4 outgoing flights directly with Norwegian Air. Surprisingly, 3 days later, I received an email from Opodo confirming the booking from Gatwick to Santorini and the payment was deducted. Despite the email stating the booking was cancelled, I have not received any tickets. I have been waiting on hold with customer service for nearly 20 minutes. I kindly request a prompt refund of the deducted amount.

My name is Cecilia Bravo. On November 8, [redacted], I purchased two tickets from Frankfurt to Lima on November 10, [redacted], and from Lima back to Frankfurt on December 9, [redacted]. I used the first ticket but had to extend my stay in Peru due to visa reasons, causing me to miss the return flight. The tickets were flexible, and before the return flight, I confirmed I wouldn't lose the ticket. However, when I tried to travel on February 27, [redacted], the penalty for not using the original ticket was almost three times the cost of both tickets. Therefore, I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline. I was informed at the Latam office that the website where I bought the tickets could potentially refund me for the unused ticket. For the departure, I was charged for 20kg per person, but for the return trip, I noticed that there was no baggage allowance, resulting in a total charge of USD560 for 40kg.
I am seeking clarification on the possibility of being reimbursed the difference in online baggage pricing, amounting to USD180, which leaves a significant excess of USD380 in charges for the return journey.
The situation of having no baggage allowance for the return journey after being charged for 40kg during departure raises confusion and seems unreasonable. The initial attraction to the flight's affordability diminishes when additional charges, particularly excessive baggage fees, are imposed. Generally, a standard allowance of 20kg per person is expected.

Regarding REF [redacted], I have been awaiting a refund of £[redacted].50 for five weeks now. Initially, I was told it would take ten days, then received various further wait times - 7 days, 48 hours, 34 hours, 5 to 7 days, with promises of it being in my account by last Monday, then Tuesday, and now today. Despite calling over 40 times, the refund has not been processed. I encountered suspicious behavior during calls where agents went silent or disconnected, with the most recent incident occurring around 8:20 PM; it is now 8:45 PM. My flight is on the 24th, and this refund is essential for my travel funds. Following assurances from manager Taran that the refund would appear today, I am now informed to wait an additional 72 hours - the day I am due to travel, leaving me without funds. This frustrating experience has lasted for a month, and I am considering legal action if the refund is not received in time for my Sunday travel plans. It appears that some agents may not be truthful, especially when asked to speak to a manager.

I booked a flight and hotel for Dubai but missed my initial flight due to an issue. I rebooked and everything seemed fine until I tried to check-in for my return flight only to find out it was cancelled because I missed the first leg. Dear Sir/Madam,
I had a flight from Dusseldorf to Kuching on 29th April but unfortunately missed my flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching on 30th April due to the long waiting queue at the immigration counter. I was forced to buy a new flight which cost me [redacted] euros. Despite receiving an email from Opodo confirming my flights and instructing me to get my boarding pass at the airport, upon arriving for my flight on 13th May, I was informed that all my flights had been canceled, which came as a shock. It seems excessive to cancel all my flights for missing just one.
My booking number is [redacted] - NEIAVO. I have important meetings and need to return; otherwise, I will lose both time and money. I believe Opodo should compensate me for this and provide me with a new flight from Kuching to Dusseldorf.

Hello, we made a reservation for 3 nights over Easter this year at Isla Bonita in Adeje, Tenerife, through Opodo with reference [redacted]98. The quoted price was £[redacted].86 for an all-inclusive stay. I assumed this was the rate for 2 people sharing a double room with a pool view.
Upon arrival, they insisted the price was for only one person and charged us an additional £[redacted].58, bringing the total to £[redacted].44 for 3 nights. Comparing this to similar rates for upcoming dates, £[redacted] seems appropriate for a double occupancy stay.
I've raised a case with Resolver (ref: [redacted]) but haven't received any response yet. I'd appreciate clarification on whether the additional charge was valid and guidance on how to reclaim the overcharged amount.

On Sunday, I booked flights to Sardinia for myself and 2 friends under reservation number [redacted]. While I received confirmation for the return flight shortly after, the outbound flight has not been confirmed yet.
I recently realized that the payment for the outbound flight might not have gone through due to a monthly withdrawal limit of [redacted] euros that I had set with my bank. To address this, I have contacted my bank this morning and arranged for a transfer of [redacted] euros to my credit card, which should reflect tomorrow.
Could you please maintain the processing status of our flights for now? I'm concerned about whether flights are canceled after a certain time and if both flights would be canceled together or just the outbound one since the return flight has already been paid for.

I am writing regarding a recent flight booking from Munich (MUC) to Palma de Mallorca (PMI) for Sat, 10th Aug 19 on flight OE [redacted] with Laudamotion operated by Ryanair. I have booked two tickets with Opodo booking reference number [redacted] and PNR J6QT6A. I received confirmation emails from Ryanair and Opodo. The total cost was £[redacted].09, charged on my MasterCard as [redacted].06 USD.
I noticed a £12.18 charge from Opodo which was not clearly explained during booking. I am requesting a reimbursement of this amount to my credit card. I did not select any additional services like luggage, seats, insurance or catering.
I also booked return flights from PMI to Dusseldorf (DUS) without any surcharges through Opodo.
