Subject: Complaint Regarding Defective Onkyo HT-R695 System Date: [redacted]-05-03 11:43 From: [redacted] To: [redacted] I bought an HT-R695 system from Amazon, an authorized dealer. It is past the 30-day Amazon return period, but I received it on Mar. 8, [redacted]. Shortly after, one of the smallest speakers began intermittently producing loud crackling/static noise. After troubleshooting with tech support, it was determined that the issue lies with the receiver and not the speaker or wire connections. Shipping and returning the receiver to another state (WA to OR) at my expense will take 4-6 weeks, leaving me without sound. As a disabled senior aged 71, I am unable to pack and ship it myself. I proposed purchasing a new working receiver, but was informed this is not an option. I seek a resolution that allows me to have sound without the faulty receiver. I bought an Onkyo 6-disc CD changer from Amazon back in October [redacted]. I encountered issues right away with the drawer not opening and CDs getting stuck. I sent it for repairs last summer, but now it's acting up again. When I loaded six CDs and selected the random setting, it didn't work correctly. It would cycle through track numbers but fail to play CDs properly. For instance, it would display "Track 99" on a disc with only 12 songs. Moreover, it skipped certain songs randomly. This inconsistent performance is frustrating. I had to pay for shipping once for repairs and don't want to do it again. I believe Onkyo should provide a shipping label for me to send it for repairs or replace the CD player entirely.

I am reaching out for assistance with my TX-NR636 receiver and Samsung UN65JU650DF TV. My TV model is UN65JU650DFXZA, and it's not on the compatibility list. I need help finding a cross-referenced TV model for visual display adjustment. Additionally, I have underground HDMI cables connecting the TV and receiver, as well as a cable to a Sunfire subwoofer with Bluetooth issues. The Fire TV Stick and DirecTV are connected to the TV's HDMI inputs, not recognized by the receiver. The TV's inputs include multiple HDMI ports and USB connections, but my DVD player near the receiver shouldn't pose an issue when connected. My ARC feature isn't functioning correctly. I managed to get it working briefly after updating the firmware and going through the setup process, agreeing to use the Audio Return Channel. However, it stopped working after two days. I am using a TX-NR686 receiver and an LG TV model OLED65C8AUA, connected with a high-speed HDMI cable to HDMI 2 (ARC) on the TV. Looking for a permanent solution to fix the ARC issue.

I am experiencing an issue with my TX-NR414 receiver. Recently, it has lost the ability to pass through cable channels when the receiver is off. The amber light indicates that the pass-through circuit is on, but it does not function properly. When turning on the receiver, I receive a "resolution error" message. This problem started after connecting a Roku box to input 2 on my Vizio TV. To temporarily resolve the issue, I have to repeatedly reset the pass-through by changing it from auto setup to another setting and then back to auto. Although I purchased the unit new, it is now several years old.

Subject: Follow-up on Warranty Service for Onkyo TXNR787 Receiver Hi Parts Department, I am David B. Boston, Sr., and I recently sent my Onkyo TXNR787 receiver to Norman's Electronics INC. for warranty service on 05/12/[redacted]. They diagnosed it needing a new HDMI board, and the repair was approved by Onkyo. However, after three months, the part is still not available, and we are unable to enjoy our home theater or music. I have an Onkyo NS-[redacted] that stopped playing music in MQA quality three weeks ago. It used to play FLAC all the time, but now it only plays AAC (MP3). I updated it, but music from Tidal is only in AAC quality through the Onkyo Controller app. Tidal confirmed everything is okay on their end, so they suggested it might be an issue with Onkyo. I need help resolving this problem as I want to listen to music in the highest quality. I have already updated and performed a factory reset on the Onkyo NS-[redacted], but there have been no changes. For the past two weeks, my Onkyo [redacted] is only playing AAC at 96 kbps from the Onkyo Controller app, even though I have Tidal HiFi (Master). No MQA, no Hi-Fi, no Flac, just AAC at 96 kbps. Why?

Hello, I submitted a ticket on August 27, [redacted], but have not received a response. Ticket Number: [Ticket#[redacted]7LIU0V]. Suddenly, my TX NR515 amplifier stopped producing sound from any HDMI source or optical input. I can see the Blu-ray and TV images but have no sound. I can only access one setting in the configuration menu and can't connect to the network or access other menus. I rarely use this amplifier and I'm disappointed that my ONKYO amplifier, known for its quality, has malfunctioned so quickly with minimal use. Can you confirm if this is a setti- bogushg or a hardware issue? I have tried a reset by pressing both buttons, but it did not solve the problem. Thank you for your assistance. Regards.

Bonjour, Cela fait trois ans depuis mon achat de l'ONKYO HT-R395 (HTs-3800G) et il est déjà défectueux ! Ce n'est pas normal vu le prix payé ! Le réparateur n'arrive pas à trouver l'alimentation - le transformateur a pour référence : [redacted]. J'aurais besoin des valeurs telles que les tensions, l'ampérage, la puissance, le bobinage, etc., pour essayer de le remplacer par un équivalent. Cependant, ce serait encore mieux si vous pouviez me dire où en trouver un identique ou même mieux, m'en vendre un. PS : Comme vous le savez, il existe des lois qui imposent un suivi des pièces de rechange pendant au moins dix ans, surtout de nos jours ! Le matériel doit être facilement réparable pour être bien noté par les sociétés. Je compte sur votre professionnalisme pour me dépanner. J'ai laissé des messages sur votre page Facebook, mais je n'ai reçu aucune réponse, ce qui n'est pas correct. Je pourrais toujours laisser des avis en fonction de votre réponse, bien entendu. Hello, It has been 3 years since I purchased my ONKYO HT-R395 (HTs-3800G) and it has already stopped working! This is not normal considering the price I paid. The repairman cannot find the power transformer. Transformer reference: [redacted 230V SK85863G084 SV 8K07 SET] !!! I would need the values of it (voltage, amperage, power, winding, etc.) to try to replace it with an equivalent one. But it would be best if you could tell me where to find the same one or even better, sell me one. P.S.: Since there are laws requiring a minimum of 10 years for parts availability, especially in our current times, products should have a high repairability level to be rated among the best companies. I am counting on your professionalism to assist me. I have visited your Facebook page and left messages, but received no response which is disappointing. I purchased a DX-C390 CD player in July [redacted]. From the start, I noticed that many CDs would skip in the player but play fine in my car. After playing a few CDs, I discovered my dog had been peeing on my old Pioneer speakers sitting on the floor. I stopped using the player and moved the speakers to another room. Recently, I attempted to play CDs again, and some are not being read, while others skip. These same CDs work fine in my car. The CD player cost me $[redacted], and I've used it less than a dozen times. I am requesting a replacement or a full refund and have the receipt available.

Dear Sir, I am Gunawan, a technician, facing an issue with my Onkyo TX RZ800. After repairing the Vprotect problem successfully, I encountered a new issue. Upon turning on the unit, I am seeing "Amp Diagnostic," "NG RCL," and other messages. I checked Vprotect T and Iprotect T, both showing 0 V, indicating there's no protection mode. Despite resetting by pressing CBL, Power switch, and Clear, the issue persists. Even attempting to enter diagnostic modes doesn't resolve it. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Good morning, I own an ONKYO SKW-[redacted] sound system connected to my Samsung 75-inch ULTRA HD TV. The problem I'm facing is that YouTube doesn't play surround sound through the system. Regular TV and paid TV sources work fine with the sensesurround feature, but not YouTube. Samsung suggested reaching out to Onkyo for assistance in resolving this issue. Can you help me with this? Hello, ever since I did the last update last week, my NR656 Amplifier has been having issues. It turns on by itself even without any intervention, even with no batteries in the remote control, and the CEC is indeed disabled. It also freezes and becomes unresponsive for extended periods. A defect appeared during the Wifi update, but when I attempted the update again, it was successful. I tried to force a new update through USB, but it's refusing because the version is not newer. Thank you for your assistance.
