Recently, I attempted to create an account for a friend via my cell phone as she was unfamiliar with the app. Unfortunately, the system recognized it as a different account and subsequently deactivated mine. I have been a loyal user of this app for several months without any prior issues, and I appreciate the security measures in place. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter, as I have consistently utilized the app in a positive manner, even taking necessary actions against individuals engaging in harassment. Hello :) Initially, I was unaware of why my account was suspended. I believe it might have been due to an expression I used that was not appropriate. I wanted to try out the app, so I saw it on my friend's phone since I don't have an account. I used his account for only 5 minutes and he got banned, although we did nothing wrong. His account is legitimate, active for 3 years straight. It seems the OkCupid system may have mistaken his account as fake due to me briefly using it. I just wanted to test the app, not break any rules. I assure you it was a one-time occurrence. Please, unban his account. I promise not to use someone else's account again. Thank you. Hello, I created an account some time ago and attempted to reactivate it recently, only to discover that it had been banned. I am unsure of the reason for this action. My previous email used for connection was [redacted], which is no longer in use. I tried to create a new account with my Gmail address [redacted], but my phone number +[redacted]1 seems to be blocked as well. I'm not sure... I stopped using the app for a while. When I tried to use it again, it wouldn't accept my phone number. When I tried to log in with my email, it asked to verify with my phone number, but the code never arrives... I tried creating a new account with a different email, but when I entered the same phone number, it said my phone was banned... I checked the reasons an OkCupid account can be suspended, and I'm certain I haven't done any of them... I would like to recover my account as I enjoy using the app. Thank you very much! I am experiencing login issues from both my phone and computer. The system does not recognize my devices and prompts me to log in using my phone number. Upon entering it, a six-digit verification code is sent to my phone. Despite entering the correct code, the system still loops me back to the email and password login, requesting the verification code again. This continuous loop prevents me from accessing my messages on OK Cupid, even though I have received emails from them on the same email address associated with my account. I believe there may be a technical glitch causing this frustrating issue.

Hello, I recently noticed that my Okcupid account appears to have been banned overnight, and I am somewhat concerned about this. I am unsure why this has occurred and I am worried that my account may have been compromised. Hello, I signed up and paid for a three-month membership on Occupid 10 days ago. However, after just two days, I've already browsed through all the profiles and haven't received any likes or messages. Prior to joining, I got likes from people outside my set distance preferences. I am having trouble with my accounts being banned and login issues. There seems to be a problem with passwords despite my phone saving them. There is also a display issue with phone numbers. Hello OKC Team, I am experiencing issues accessing my account. Everything was working fine until yesterday. Now, when I try to log in, it says there is no account under my phone number. When I attempt to log in with my email address [redacted], it says my password or email address is incorrect. Trying to reset my password doesn't work either. I receive the email, but when I click the link, the app opens without a way to set a new password, just the registration or login screen, which is not functional. I'm having difficulty with the app filtering my matches based on distance preferences. Despite setting my distance to 10 miles, I keep getting matched with men who are 40-85 miles away. This is causing me to waste time swiping through profiles each morning. Even when I changed the distance to 25 miles, it didn't improve. I contacted customer service before but received no response. I registered on OKCupid, a dating platform, on 5/12/[redacted] and made a payment of $44.99 using my Discover credit card ending in [redacted]. Since then, I have encountered numerous issues. I receive multiple "like" messages, mostly from foreign countries like Kenya, South Africa, The Philippines, and various others, rather than from the USA or my local area. Despite sending messages to other users, I do not receive any responses. When I attempted to contact them by phone yesterday, I received a message stating it was "outside business hours," though it was well within the hours provided to me during the call. I am experiencing issues when trying to view photos on the app. Whenever I click on a photo in the discover option, under Likes, or while messaging someone, I receive an error message. The message either states "the operation couldn't be completed" or "sorry, we can't find them. Profile is either private or doesn't exist." I am a Premium Member and know that the profiles do exist. These errors occur every time I try to view a photo, even for individuals I am currently communicating with. Despite being a paid member, I am unable to view any profiles.

I need help. Last week, I was chatting with someone, and the next day, I found out my account was banned when I tried to log in. I reached out to [redacted], and they sent me a vague email stating something happened without explaining further. I checked the Terms of Service, but I can't figure out what I did wrong. Now, not only is my account flagged, but even my IP address is blocked from creating accounts on most dating sites. I always report only if the other person is dishonest about themselves.
