I bought an iPhone in the U.S. and now I am in Japan using a Japanese SIM card to save on bills. Everything was working fine until my app suddenly said I was suspended for a term violation, which I am unsure about. I tried logging in from my iPad and PC at home but no luck. They mentioned technical issues and a meltdown. Does this mean I am banned? I believe my account still exists somewhere, but I'm unsure how to recover it. Should I send an apology email to customer service for something I am unaware of doing?

I registered for your service on okcupid.com and completed the payment process. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties accessing my account. When attempting to reset my password, I did not receive the email notification despite numerous attempts and checking my spam folder. It has been frustrating not being able to log in for the past two weeks. I would appreciate either a partial refund or an extension of my services as compensation for the inconvenience. I am unable to locate the person who messaged me earlier today. Despite my efforts to find him, he seems to have vanished from my matches. This is the first individual in a year that has sparked my interest to this extent. I diligently checked the Double Take feature and thoroughly searched, but he remains elusive.
The individual in question messaged me around 11:00, and I am eager to respond; however, his profile seems to have disappeared. I recently subscribed for a one-month membership after using the platform for free over the past year. Is there a recent change in the app that might explain this issue? Two weeks ago, I signed up and answered nearly [redacted] questions. Shortly after, I started browsing and later updated my bio. Following that, I encountered technical issues preventing me from signing in around Tuesday, May 22nd, [redacted]. Despite submitting three tickets to technical support since Thursday, May 24th, [redacted], I have not received any contact. I need assistance with resolving my issue or guidance on how to close my account and receive a refund. Repeatedly receiving automated responses is frustrating. It seems unfair to change my password without prior notification or a request to email. It's particularly frustrating to pay for a membership and be unable to access my account. My Incognito membership should only end on the specified date, regardless of payment complications. I urgently require access to my account.
Today, a meeting was scheduled but due to the lack of personal attention to my case, it has been disrupted.

I signed up for my OKC account yesterday and have not uploaded any offensive content or interacted with anyone yet.
Today, when I attempted to log in, the app repeatedly displayed the error message "That username or password is incorrect." I tried to reset my password but did not receive the email from the company, even after checking my spam folder.
I reached out to the company using the Feedback Form and received an automated response directing me to the same steps, including checking for emails from "[redacted]" with no success.
The email also mentioned to let them know if the issue persists, but after multiple attempts, I kept receiving the same automated response.
After researching online, it seems my account may have been banned. I would appreciate further clarification on this matter.

My account was cancelled unexpectedly. I was interested in a dating service featuring nude images and found your site. The page advertised full frontal nudity, so I attempted to view other photos but encountered technical difficulties. I mistakenly uploaded a nude photo of myself, realizing later that it wasn't appropriate. I intended to close my account regardless. Regarding my account details, I do not have a photo of myself but rather a man wearing a mask. Although I had previously included a slightly controversial statement in my profile, I had removed it before my suspension occurred. These are the only two aspects for which I could be held accountable.
I recently logged back into OKCupid after a period of inactivity. Initially, I had no issues for the first day as I explored my matches without finding any potential interests.
On the second day, I reciprocated interest with someone I liked who had also liked me back. We matched with over 90% compatibility, which left me feeling excited. After subscribing to their premium service, I was looking forward to a positive experience.
However, on the morning of the third day, when I tried to log in, I discovered that my account had been suspended. Despite creating new accounts, they also faced the same fate. As a result, I have lost access to the site, including the messaging feature where mutual liking is required to view sent messages. This predicament coincided with recent updates to OKCupid's website, which removed certain features and cracked down on bot accounts. I suspect my suspension may have been a case of mistaken identity, possibly being flagged as a bot.

I reached out to OKCUPID when I purchased a paid subscription and noticed a decrease in inquiries after subscribing. I informed them via email, and today when I tried to access the app, I was asked to either open an account or log in. Upon logging in, I received a message stating my account was suspended for violating the terms of use. I find this to be unethical behavior from OKCUPID. Since I signed up through Facebook, my email is not being recognized. My name is Bijan Dabiri. Legitimate businesses should have accessible contact options, which OKCUPID lacks. If I had known this would happen, I would not have signed up. I intend to request a refund and report this to the Better Business Bureau and the FTC regarding OKCUPID's questionable practices.

I felt devastated not being able to talk to the people I met the day before and losing all those contacts. I paid for a premium account for 10 euros. I recall making a silly joke to a girl I was chatting with. It was meant as humor, and after she found it bad, she blocked me. We can't please everyone, can we? Please reinstate my account. I may have offended someone, but I assure you I will be more courteous and careful with my jokes. Being French, maybe my humor is sensitive at times.

I recently joined OkCupid and used the service for less than a week. I made sure to post appropriate photos and created a greeting that was not offensive in any way. I did not share my phone number or email on my profile and have not initiated contact with anyone beyond a few "likes."
