I recently made a purchase on 6/7/23. Upon returning home, I discovered some parts were missing from the box. I promptly returned the item the next day. I exchanged it for a similar product which was on sale. The original item cost $[redacted].99 plus $11.65 tax, totaling $[redacted].54. After applying a $25 gift card, the final charge was $[redacted].54 to my MasterCard. The new item I exchanged it for was priced at $[redacted].99. After paying tax of $1.65, the final total was $[redacted].64. The cashier deducted $20 from the original price, resulting in a refund of $21.65 back to my credit card. However, the $25 gift card amount was not included in the new transaction. The manager mentioned the initial transaction was complete, but I disagreed and requested a recalculation with the gift card value accounted for. Manager Neal Johnson at the Houston store assisted me with the issue.
