I am a school teacher who oversees our school newspaper subscription to The New York Times. We are considering expanding our subscriptions. My mother subscribed for my terminally ill uncle for his last year. He passed away in November. Despite numerous attempts by my mother and American Express to cancel, the subscription to Louis Poles in Wayne, NJ, persists, causing distress. I urge you to rectify this situation promptly to avoid further billing issues. Failure to do so may lead to negative publicity affecting multiple school newspapers in NJ. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention.

I need to cancel my elderly father's Star Ledger subscription due to his declining health. He is unable to read the paper and has moved to a nursing home. The customer service representative I spoke to was unhelpful and argued with me before hanging up. I would like to confirm if the subscription has been cancelled and if not, please cancel it. Thank you. - Judith R.

I am John McDaniel, a resident of a building infested with mold. Numerous individuals are falling ill, and I have lost all my furniture due to this issue. Seeking assistance is vital as it is a HUD building with market rent. Plagued with prostate cancer, I cannot risk exposure to mold. The building management has a history of misusing funds allocated for repairs, resulting in hazardous conditions. Residents have suffered significant losses, including myself. I have photographic evidence of mold in my apartment. Kindly extend your support to address this critical situation. My contact number is [redacted], and I am a responsible tenant with no outstanding dues. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dear Star Ledger, I attempted to reach your billing department by phone to address our account 10[redacted][redacted] without success until speaking with Sue, your customer service representative. The bill stated $59.90 in April but now has increased to $77.50, which has been paid by mail. I recently noticed additional charges of $2.00 for a paper bill and $4.00 for a Thanksgiving issue on top of the subscription fee, which I find unusual and unacceptable. I kindly request the removal of these fees. Should this matter remain unresolved, we may need to reconsider our long-standing subscription. If it is possible, please email future bills to me for payment by check. Thank you for your prompt attention. Sincerely, J. Lacatena

I recently had an article about my business and background published in the Asbury Park Press under the Money section for Small Business. The response was overwhelming, and I received numerous calls from interested readers. I am considering having a similar article featured in the Star Ledger due to the positive feedback. I believe your readers would find it intriguing. Along with that, I have recently published a book titled "Help, I Need a Job Now!" which aligns with my business of Professional Career Coaching at Lisa Hill Associates. With more than 20 years of successful recruiting experience in New York City with top Fortune [redacted] companies, I have shifted my focus to help individuals find jobs and explore new career opportunities. I believe an article in your newspaper could shed light on this endeavor. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you. Lisa Hill Contact: Cell: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

For the past few weeks, I have not been getting the advertising inserts in the Sunday paper. After contacting customer service on 10/28, I was told the inserts would be delivered the next day, but they were not. Today, I spoke to Patty who said she would escalate the issue to the district supervisor and promised the inserts would arrive today. As of 2:45 pm, they have not. I'm disappointed about the partial paper on 10/28 and do not want to pay for that. I just want the Sunday inserts promptly. Moving forward, I expect to receive a complete newspaper on Sundays. Thank you.

I was informed that my next charge would be around 11/12/18, but I have already been charged. I was supposed to receive a one-month extension from my last charge due to delivery issues during my recent vacations, even though I had put a vacation hold on my delivery. I have tried to contact the office several times this week, but it appears to be closed when I am available. I only realized today, when I checked my credit card statement online, that I was charged $[redacted].50 on 10/30/18. There is a continual problem with the delivery service as I received my paper after 9 am today and this has been happening all week. Despite previous complaints, the situation has not improved. Perhaps I should consider switching back to paper billing. Thank you.

For the past few months, our Sunday paper has been consistently missing the coupons and comics section we rely on. I suspect that our delivery person might be taking them, as this has been happening regularly. When I subscribed to The Star Ledger, it was with the expectation of receiving these inserts. Despite advertisements for coupons, we have not received any in two months, unlike what my friends are getting. I request immediate action to resolve this issue. I am paying for a service that I am not fully receiving. Kindly address this problem promptly. You can reach me at [redacted].

For the past few months, the Sunday paper we subscribe to has been missing the coupons and comic section. I suspect the delivery person may be keeping them. Access to these coupons and ads was a significant reason for subscribing to the Star Ledger. I find it hard to believe there have been no coupons for 2 months when they have been advertised. Some friends have confirmed they received theirs. I request that this issue be resolved promptly and the missing coupons be sent to me with my Sunday paper subscription. Urgent assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

For the last few months, our Sunday newspaper, which we've been subscribing to, has been missing the coupons and comics sections entirely. I suspect the delivery person might be keeping our coupons and possibly doing the same to other customers in the area. I chose to subscribe to the Star Ledger primarily for these coupons and ads. It's hard to believe that there have been no coupons for two months when they have been advertised, especially since friends have mentioned receiving theirs. I'd like this issue resolved promptly and receive the missing coupons that were supposed to be in my Sunday paper. Please contact me soon. Thank you.

Back in September or October, I attempted to subscribe, but didn't receive the papers even though my credit card was charged. Despite emailing customer service, I was directed to call a phone number and was unable to speak to anyone. I eventually gave up and initiated a chargeback on my credit card, receiving a refund from my bank. I recently discovered that a recipient at 73 Oakland Rd in Maplewood received the papers intended for me but unsuccessfully tried to stop them. Can you please address this issue and allow me to subscribe to the digital-only edition of the Star-Ledger? The introductory offer for digital plus home delivery was more economical, but digital-only is my preference.

There is a situation at Union County Vocational Technical School in Scotch Plains, NJ. The electrical technical teacher was fired for attempting to guide an unruly student back to his work station by placing his hand on the student's shoulder. The superintendent terminated the teacher without cause, leaving 40 students, including my son, without a qualified teacher for three weeks. The parents were left uninformed until a group of us confronted the school for answers, which were not provided. The students are showing support by chanting "BRING BACK BURNS." To add to the situation, the teacher reported the incident to the administration after the class, not the student. This issue needs attention, and there is more to the story that needs investigation.

Dear Customer Service, My name is Joyce, and I reside at [redacted] East Cedar Street in Livingston. Unfortunately, I did not receive my paper on May 30th as expected. I tried contacting your customer service number, but only reached a robot that failed to deliver the paper despite my request. Today, after being transferred to a representative, I was left waiting on hold with music playing and no one assisting me. I have noticed a pattern of missing deliveries, as I did not receive the papers from the past two Thursdays and Sundays. When I called on Sunday, I was informed that I could receive credit for the missing Sunday paper, but it was too late for the Thursday one. This has left me feeling quite frustrated and disappointed with the service, especially after waiting over two hours for assistance. I have been a loyal subscriber to your paper for over 38 years, but the recent issues are making me consider cancelling my subscription. Please credit my account for the missed papers promptly. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Joyce

I have been a subscriber to the Star-Ledger since June and have encountered numerous issues with missed deliveries and paper placement. Due to my disabilities, it's challenging for me to retrieve the paper from the driveway. I requested for it to be left on my front stoop to no avail. Instead, it has been tossed in various unsuitable places resulting in the paper being soaked by water from sprinklers. This recurring problem makes it inconvenient for me to access the paper. I am willing to give chances for improvement, but it seems like my requests are being ignored by the delivery team at the Star-Ledger. - P.C.

Norwegian Airlines departed from Newark, New Jersey (EWR) at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 5th, bound for Fiumicino, Rome, Italy. Originally scheduled to leave on Wednesday, the delay led to flight number DY [redacted] using a plane from Euroatlantic Airways. Passengers describe the experience as unsettling, as the substitute aircraft was old, dirty, cramped, and had to make an emergency landing in Gander, Newfoundland. Displeased travelers are currently dealing with poor communication at a hotel and express their strong refusal to board such a subpar plane again. The dissatisfaction stems from expecting a modern Dreamliner but flying on a dated aircraft from the 1970s, leading to discomfort and safety concerns. Dissatisfied with the situation and lack of assistance from Norwegian, passengers are seeking urgent support and are vehemently against boarding a repaired aircraft of similar condition.

I am sharing our journey with kidney donation. My husband is experiencing end-stage renal failure, and we have an upcoming meeting tonight in Short Hills, NJ, hosted by Renewal at Chabad of Short Hills on South Orange Ave. They will discuss living kidney donation for about an hour. Renewal is a non-profit that connects kidney donors with recipients. It's disheartening to hear about the high number of discarded kidneys and the impact on those suffering, like my husband. We reside in South Orange, NJ, and are urgently seeking a kidney for my 50-year-old husband, who tragically lost his father to the same illness at 35, leaving him to support his family since he was only 14. Lee is a cherished father of two and a doting grandfather to four, known for his kind and caring nature. Please reach out if you would like to cover our story. Thank you.

I did not receive the paper on Friday, Sept 20. I contacted the automated system, and they assured me a redelivery. After lunch, the paper still hadn't arrived. I called and spoke to Hillary who informed me redelivery occurs between 10 and 2. To my disappointment, no paper arrived that night. I assumed it might come with the Saturday paper, a common occurrence that I have reported multiple times. However, only the Saturday paper was delivered on that day. After many calls, I reached out again and spoke to Douglas, who said he would ensure the Friday paper was delivered on Saturday afternoon after contacting the manager. Unfortunately, it's now Sunday, and the Friday paper is still missing. The recurring issues are frustrating, with no communication, apologies, or explanations - considering the high cost of the paper. I am on the verge of canceling my subscription unless these issues are addressed promptly, including a reduction in the paper cost. Providing my work email for faster communication.

I have noticed that our paper has recently been arriving between 6:50 - 7 a.m. Does this mean the deadline has been changed to 6:30 a.m.? I kindly request our news carrier to be punctual. Furthermore, the Parade magazine has been missing from our Sunday paper for the last 3 weeks. Despite checking thoroughly, I have not found it among the coupons and other inserts. This oversight is disappointing. I would appreciate if our new carrier ensured the Parade magazine is included in our paper moving forward.

I am a member of a NJ nonprofit corporation. I have evidence that our corporation's Board embezzled roughly $[redacted],[redacted]. These funds were used to buy and support a speculative rental property. There might be more missing money concealed by the corporation and Board. They breached NJ's requirement for the nonprofit to present an independent CPA with its financial transactions for auditing. The nonprofit/Board shared incomplete and inaccurate information with the CPA. Additionally, the corporation made at least $1,[redacted],[redacted] in profits over approximately a decade. Do you have a team interested in this evidence? I also have proof that the corporation's legal Agent violated its duty as an Officer of the Court by assisting the corporation's legal process abuses and embezzlement of $40,[redacted] for the Agent's retainer, fees, and expenses. The corporation's By-Laws were violated by retaining the legal Agent before fulfilling specific conditions. The Board concealed the $40,[redacted] disbursal like they did with the $[redacted],[redacted]. I am unable to request any action alone as a single member. Can you help or guide me to a group willing to help us find justice? I can provide evidence I have collected. Thank you for reading.

I am seeking assistance with an ongoing matter with North Plainfield's planning board. They are attempting to approve a variance for a property that the neighborhood opposes. A conflict of interest arises as a real estate agent on the board sold the property to a developer. Despite my attempts to inquire about the property sale, I was denied information, leading to suspicion of collusion. The board proceeded to approve the variance for three houses on a lot zoned for one. After voicing concerns about the conflict of interest, they rescheduled and eventually canceled a meeting. The absence of the real estate agent at the following meeting suggested an attempt to avoid scrutiny. This situation appears to be a manipulative move to benefit the real estate agent and developer. I am seeking guidance on shedding light on this issue and ensuring transparency in the process. Thank you for your attention to this matter, David Winheim.
