Michael initially agreed to help but abruptly decided not to assist me, citing my questions as silly. He requested access to my computer, but when I asked for clarification on his location and employee number, he seemed agitated. Despite granting him access, he was uncooperative and refused to transfer my case or provide his supervisor's information. It's important for the company to understand that in light of identity theft concerns, customers may have inquiries about remote access. I just need a simple solution to update the wifi extender settings.

I have had to factory reset my router multiple times. However, despite following all the steps mentioned on your website and other sources to access and reconfigure it, I cannot log in as it keeps rejecting my password. When I try to visit [redacted].[redacted].1.1, I receive an error message indicating your servers are not responding. Both of my browsers that previously worked with Java are now unable to connect. This issue is greatly impacting my work as a hospice pastor, as I rely on the internet to perform my duties. I urgently need assistance to resolve this problem and get back online.

I purchased a used [redacted] router on eBay and my neighbor, a computer repairman, assisted in setting it up. One of my laptops connects fine, but my Dell laptop is unable to connect to the internet and prompts me for an SSDI number during troubleshooting. I recently purchased a Night Hawk RAX43 router, but I experienced issues with intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity to my devices for a week before it completely stopped working. Spectrum technicians identified the router as the problem and replaced it with one of their own, resolving the connectivity issues. I have used my R6400 AC1750 router without issues for years. Today, I encountered a problem where my Android TV box couldn't connect to the wifi, but my laptop's 2.4G connection was working fine. Even after resetting the Android box, the 5G connection showed as connected but lacked internet access. I discovered a strange issue; my laptop only had internet access when my VPN was on. Turning off the VPN caused a loss of internet connection. Wired devices such as VoIP phones are working correctly. Spectrum claims no responsibility. I have an extra identical router that I am unsure how to configure. It has been a decade since I last configured a router. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently received an email from Netgear reminding me that my account will soon require renewal. I do not wish to renew my subscription. When I clicked on the link provided, my email address was not recognized as valid. I was instructed to expect another email for validation purposes, but I never received it. I checked all my email folders, including spam, with no success. I attempted to respond to their email, but it was returned as undeliverable. I purchased a new Netgear router from Walmart on July 24, [redacted], and unfortunately, it was diagnosed with hardware issues by my internet provider in November [redacted]. I have tried contacting the number provided online for assistance but have been unable to reach a human representative. I was informed that the device is not covered under the technical warranty unless I purchase additional support.

I encountered issues with my original router after purchasing the Prosupport contact for $[redacted]. When the first router began causing problems with sim cards, it was replaced with a second one that worked for almost a year until it got blacklisted by AT&T. Even though AT&T claimed Netgear blacklisted it, Netgear redirected me to Amazon as the source of the issue. Amazon sent me a used router initially, which had to be replaced with a new one after registering issues. Trying to register the new device with Netgear proved challenging, as they required more proof of purchase than I initially provided. Furthermore, attempts to transfer the existing Prosupport contract to the new router have been unsuccessful, leading to frustration due to the loop of unresolved cases and unhelpful customer service experiences. The lack of support and assistance from both Netgear and AT&T has left me feeling taken advantage of as a home user, contrary to the expectations set by product reviews. Despite multiple attempts and case numbers, the issue remains unresolved, with the hope of attaching the Prosupport contract to the new router lingering.

My Nighthawk router and extender are both unable to connect to the WiFi network. The Nighthawk router requires updates but is not accepting any passwords. Likewise, the extender is not recognizing any WiFi networks or passwords. Initially, I had trouble accessing my Netgear account, and even after gaining entry, I couldn't navigate to any troubleshooting pages. Netgear's customer support has been unhelpful and is requesting a hefty upfront payment of $[redacted] for assistance, which seems like a ploy to push customers into buying new equipment. I have lost trust in Netgear and will consider other brands for my future purchases. I purchased the CAX80 router/modem 18 months ago and was satisfied with it until it suddenly went offline last night. Despite a visit from an Xfinity technician confirming a strong signal, the issue seems to be with the modem itself. The serial number is 60R3137BA0823 under my name, Miguel Casarez. Although aware it is out of warranty, the short lifespan is disappointing. I hope Netgear could consider assisting with either a replacement or repair. Thank you in advance.

I am experiencing issues with my Netgear XS508M switch where the speed is limited to 100mbps on all ports and some devices are unreachable. I have tried resetting by disconnecting and reconnecting power, as well as unplugging and plugging back in the network cables. If nothing works, I had to restart all devices except the modem one by one due to the irregular occurrence of these issues. My network setup includes a Dray Tek Vigor165 modem, a Netgear XR700 router, Netgear XS508M switch, and Netgear GS110EMX switch. The problem seems to arise from the router onwards as I have never had issues with the modem connection. Various devices are connected to the switches with Cat 6 cables of varying lengths. All devices are updated with the latest software and drivers. If you have any suggestions on how to resolve these problems permanently, I would appreciate a constructive response. I need help setting up specific ports on my Netgear Nighthawk X6s router. For Tracs Enterprise, I need to configure the following ports:
- Incoming TCP Port [redacted] for data exchange with Tracs Workstation
- Incoming TCP Port [redacted] for Tracs API interface and messaging between TDS and workstations

I bought a Netgear Wifi Router, model C7000v2 from Wal-mart on 5/23/[redacted]. Installation was simple. Unfortunately, for two months, we dealt with the router disconnecting from the internet multiple times per day. The cable company couldn't get it to connect to their signal, leaving us without internet access. We can't return the router to Wal-mart due to the 30-day return policy. We are seeking a refund for the $[redacted].00 cost before taxes.
