I am currently writing a screenplay for a major motion picture studio titled "CYBERBALL." Previously, I had registered domain names associated with this project through Namecheap.com. However, I'm facing challenges with managing these domains as I have resumed the development after a five-year hiatus. Unfortunately, my old email address, [redacted], is no longer active. To continue using Namecheap's services, I kindly request to be contacted at [redacted] or (--). Without assistance soon, I may consider switching to another domain name management company, which is not my preferred course of action.

I am currently assisting Marilyn Fettner from fettnercareerconsulting.com in transferring her domain from Namecheap to GoDaddy. The website is already hosted on GoDaddy, and we would like the domain to be transferred there as well. The previous developer, Ray Dykier, claims to have unlocked the domain and updated the contact information over 60 days ago, but a WHOis lookup still shows NameCheap as the contact information. We have attempted to transfer the domain before in April / May and received verification emails, but they have expired or are not functional. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I have organized a free weekend arts festival in Midtown NYC since [redacted] through ArtistsintheKitchen.org. Recently, I discovered that my domain was bought by a Korean company as I must have forgotten to renew it. I need to retain all the content from the website, including material from artists, writers, videos, social media, and press. After speaking with Enom and GoDaddy, it seems the domain is now managed by GoDaddy, but I was advised to contact you for the content recovery. My previous experience with a website developer who transitioned the site to Wordpress was challenging, and it's unclear if the content was saved. I fear losing the extensive history of our free annual festival, and I am open to using a different website name if necessary. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated to preserve this valuable project.

I found navigating your website difficult. It took me all day to fix the domain issue. There are no examples of what customers can have on the site. I don't believe your staff reads well. I have asked multiple times for the pricing of a site. My brief letter vanished. Redesigning requires my assistance due to the lack of examples or quick video references. The information provided is overly wordy and tiring. I could offer my help. I am unsure of the site creation process because I am unsure of your operation. Is it a payment program like WIX's? Too much research is necessary, and not enough is provided for customer satisfaction. Is the content written by programmers or artists? It matters. The buttons are not functioning properly. Inform people about specifics as well. I seek a platform to build multiple websites for others with the assurance they won't disappear, as it happened on WIX, before I can sell them. How will you differentiate from WIX? Can I change my email address to match my site? Consider hiring me for consultation services to enhance clarity and ease of use.

I am trying to find out the owner of a website. The site is currently experiencing an SSL issue that I hope will be fixed tomorrow. I need to confirm if the SSL problem still exists. Currently, visitors are unable to enter their name and email address on the site. Despite this being my website, it defaults to PCMONEYMAKING.COM owned by Marcus Campbell. I acquired this domain from Marcus Campbell in [redacted]. I will claim ownership once visitors can leave their information. The website is hosted by Blue House, who identified a "copy" issue in the upper right part of the site causing the SSL problem and security risk, preventing users from submitting their details. When the SSL problem is resolved, I will officially take over the domain that I purchased for $[redacted] in [redacted]. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your support in resolving this matter. - Bill Naff (Search Connection Network.Com) Domain purchased through Go Daddy.

I am canceling my account with Namecheap. I created the account about 4 or 5 weeks ago, and almost immediately lost my Namecheap credentials with the origin date. I have been working with Namecheap to create a new password and username. I know the email address for this account is [redacted], and my bought and paid-for domain for this account is "Zootzat.com." With no chance to speak to a human being, their automated system keeps me going in circles without any hint of their desire to help. I received a memo from Namecheap this morning saying that they are billing my Discover card for something, and I can't even get into my account to track the activity. They can send me an email update, but they can't help me get access, which doesn't make sense. I am so frustrated that I am trying to cancel this account, not even asking for a refund or concern for my domain name "Zootzat." Just close the account and let me walk away, but they still have total access to my Discover card to use at their will. Please help me. - Bernard J Scherr

I bought my domain minimalmimi.com from Namecheap around the beginning of November. I then hired a developer on Fiverr for $[redacted] to create a website, so I obtained web hosting from Siteground. Unfortunately, it seems like something went wrong because the domain has not redirected or done anything yet. Additionally, the second domain, moreissuesthanvogue.com, which I also purchased from Namecheap, had issues too. I paid for web hosting for a blog site, but I wasn't informed about the ICANN lock. It's frustrating that the first domain didn't work, and now the second one is also causing trouble.

We have been attempting to transfer our domain from Register.com since November. We set up an NC account but later discovered that the domain did not actually transfer. It is now in "redemption." We are seeking guidance on the best course of action to ensure the domain transfer is successfully completed. Register.com stated they could restore our account at no charge, but we would be unable to transfer for 60 days. Alternatively, they suggested inquiring with NC about placing a back order on the domain for when it expires in January, including the associated costs. We would appreciate any assistance on the next steps to take. Thank you.

In September [redacted], Doug Smolens allegedly took two domains, Anzaphac.com and Torranceplumber.com, from my GoDaddy account #[redacted]6 and transferred them to Namecheap without my authorization. I had previously informed GoDaddy on 8/29/[redacted] that Doug Smolens should not have access to my account. He had tampered with my website and demanded $[redacted], threatening my reputation and business. I have reported this theft to ICANN and request the immediate return of my domains to avoid legal action. Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated. - Fred Gomez

I am currently unable to access my Namecheap account. Despite not using up all my 2-way authentication codes, I cannot log in. After reaching out to support, I was flagged for high risk and asked security questions. Unfortunately, I could not answer the final question regarding the last 4 digits of the previous credit card on file due to updating my debit card information. This has left me locked out, unable to make necessary payments or utilize the services I've paid for. Although the support team marked my case as a priority, I have not received any follow-up since last Saturday. It's frustrating and inconvenient to be unable to access my account. I am eager to find a resolution and regain access soon.

I recently purchased a domain name and hosting service from Namecheap, but my account got blocked shortly after payment. They requested personal photos and an image of my credit card, which I provided. Despite this, after 24 hours with no response, I reached out to live chat only to be informed it wasn't their issue to resolve. I have a contractual obligation to deliver work to a customer by Monday with a penalty of $[redacted] per day for delays. Why doesn't Namecheap provide a phone number for support? Blocking the account without solid evidence of fraud is unfair when I am the legitimate owner. Communication from Namecheap has been polite but lacking in action. I am left to resolve this on my own, facing penalties and potential loss of business due to their actions. If not resolved promptly, I will share my experience and evidence on social media.

I have been experiencing issues with Namecheap for approximately 2 months. I have been a loyal customer for more than 6 years and manage several domains through them. Initially, I encountered problems with my cards being declined by Namecheap as both my personal and business banks flagged the company as fraudulent. As a result, my friend's card, which was only authorized for her domain but happened to work, was mistakenly charged for all my renewals. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation and request a refund to my friend's card, Namecheap has been unresponsive. The charges were eventually marked as fraudulent, and now Namecheap is demanding $[redacted] per domain, causing stress to my business as my domains are at risk of expiring with no resolution in sight from their risk management team.

I enlisted Designs Engine to develop a program for me. I provided them with access to my NameCheap account to handle the necessary tasks. Upon contacting Designs Engine, they claimed to be finalizing the program. Unfortunately, Designs Engine turned out to be a fraudulent company! They repeatedly delayed delivering the completed program and it became clear they were using a generic template to scam clients for more money. In retaliation for my negative review, they changed my password to access my NameCheap account without my consent. I am concerned about the safety of my numerous domains on NameCheap. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, NameCheap's response has been inadequate. They claim to be investigating but have not taken any action to rectify the situation. I demand that NameCheap revert all changes made to my domains since last Thursday when I shared my password. Their negligence has allowed the hijackers to potentially cause harm to my account. I caution others to avoid using NameCheap due to their poor customer service and disregard for customers.

Last year, I purchased a two-year domain subscription for "Tiganoproperties.com" from a salesperson. Unexpectedly, she demanded additional payment the following year, which I declined. As a result, my domain was transferred from Host Gator to Name Cheap. I now wish to regain control of my domain. Despite contacting Godaddy to claim the domain, the salesperson had already acquired and secured it, excluding me from accessing it. This domain name holds significance for my family business, and I seek assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello, I fell victim to a fraudulent website called coinmineus.com, where I invested in bitcoins. Between [redacted] and [redacted], I lost £[redacted]. The website claimed to be a cloud mining platform to increase bitcoins. It operated through namecheap.com. I transferred funds from my nationwide bank account to four individuals for bitcoins and then sent the coins to coinmineus.com from my localbitcoins.com wallet. I can provide pictures of those transactions for verification. The website's owner proved to be a scammer, limiting my withdrawal to £[redacted]. I seek advice on pursuing legal action against namecheap for their involvement in this fraud. Any guidance or additional information you need is appreciated. Thank you, Brian.
