I was recently charged for a year's subscription by Mozy on 3-29-16, which I believe is incorrect. I am requesting a credit of $[redacted].89. I am Ned B., associated with Grill Ventures, and the subscription was for a Mozy Home account. The reasons for disputing the charge are as follows: a) I have not utilized the account for several months due to technical issues. I opted for other backup methods during this period. b) I purposely did not update my debit card details to avoid being charged. Despite this, the charge was processed without my updated information. c) Notification of the impending charge was not received from Mozy unlike standard practice with other services. The payment confirmation email only included the last four digits of my outdated card number. d) Discovering the pending charge in my bank account, I promptly closed my Mozy account assuming the charge would be voided. e) Unfortunately, the charge remains authorized, and the funds have been deducted from my account.
