Subject: Firefox Compatibility Issue with BullGuard Security Hello Firefox Team, I am having trouble accessing eBay while using Firefox with BullGuard Security on my computer. This issue only started two days ago. Interestingly, I can still access eBay without any problems using Internet Explorer with Yahoo. While Firefox has many features like 'Top Sites' and Highlights, I prefer a simpler browser for basic tasks like browsing and emailing. Here are some specific issues I am facing: 1. Difficulty in customizing my most used sites list. 2. Uncertainty about how to delete individual or all saved sites. 3. Challenges accessing certain websites like eBay with Firefox. 4. Lack of a comprehensive user manual to address common problems. 5. No clear notifications for blocked sites or easy ways to unblock them. I believe the complexity of Firefox's interface may be causing these challenges. I hope these issues can be resolved promptly. Regards, Patrick H.

I am having difficulty getting my former background theme signed since I do not have the necessary contacts due to everything being wiped out. The limited selection of new themes is disappointing and lacks the variety I desire after using my previous theme for years. I also miss the integration with Pinterest. It should be your responsibility as a company to facilitate the signing process since you have the contact information for the theme providers. This situation is frustrating and seems excessive. I am unsure if I will ever fully acclimate to these changes, as it has made Firefox less unique compared to other browsers. Kindly provide information on how to reach out to the creator of the "Painted Oceans" theme to request its signing. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you. - K. Cassidy

I recently faced an issue with Firefox where all my add-ons were removed without my consent. The message prompted me to check my connections, but I am unsure which connections it refers to, as I have not made any recent changes. I had been using the same add-ons for years without any problems, and I am frustrated by the lack of notification or alternatives provided by Firefox. I do not want to deal with advertisements and feel that this situation was a major mistake on Firefox's part. Either this issue needs to be resolved promptly, or I will consider switching to a different browser. Please refrain from giving me complicated instructions, as I am not tech-savvy. I urge Firefox to rectify this situation as swiftly as it occurred as I am extremely upset by this unexpected change.

Adblock Plus and other add-ons remain disabled despite following the steps to allow Firefox studies. The hotfix-reset-xpi-verification-timestamp-[redacted] study is listed as completed, but the hotfix-update-xpi-signing-intermediate-bug-[redacted] study is not visible in either active or completed studies. A new study called prefflip-push-performance-[redacted]-Active has started appearing today. Despite these adjustments, Adblock Plus and other add-ons are still not functioning, and attempts to install recommended ad blockers or re-enable previously working add-ons have been unsuccessful. Seeking guidance to resolve this issue to continue using Firefox successfully with add-ons. Thank you.

I am currently using Firefox browser version 52.9 with Windows XP Professional, Version [redacted], Service Pack 3. Unfortunately, both the browser and the Windows OS are no longer supported, which has caused issues with my extensions. A few days ago, Firefox disabled all my extensions, including my ad blocker and internet security plug-in. I have attempted to find compatible replacements but have been unsuccessful in downloading them. I have tried to resolve this by searching on Mozilla support websites, but I am struggling with the technical aspects of signing extensions and other available solutions. I was hoping to at least have an ad blocker, internet video support, and my Avast Internet Security operational on this system. I am unable to upgrade the computer at this time. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been receiving emails from the newspaper providing a summary of a story with a link to read more on their website. However, I've been experiencing an issue where clicking the link in Firefox results in a blank page after briefly loading the correct webpage. I suspected it was a browser problem and tried using Chrome, where it worked fine. I hope this can be resolved, as I prefer using Firefox. Thank you.

This is the second time in a week Fire Fox has caused issues with my computer. Last week, despite my computer showing Fire fox as my homepage, I received multiple prompts to set it as the homepage leading to a system crash. After spending $75, I managed to fix it. Yesterday, when I declined an update, Fire fox caused another problem, almost crashing my system and affecting my printer. Can someone please contact me to clarify why this keeps happening? I was downloading spreadsheets when prompted for the update, which I postponed. I'd appreciate some assistance with this.

I am currently using a Windows 7 computer and have Firefox set as my default browser. Recently, I noticed that whenever I try to search using Google, after entering a search term and pressing "enter", the search results will show up on Yahoo instead. I have checked my add-ons, and the only one present is Dox2PDF. I suspect this issue might be related to my internet provider, Frontier, which is now owned by Yahoo. I attempted to locate Yahoo in my list of installed programs for uninstallation, but it wasn't listed. Can anyone advise me on how to prevent Google search from redirecting to Yahoo? Thank you, S. Reifler

Yesterday, I encountered a fraudulent malware scam pretending to be from Microsoft, which hijacked my Firefox browser, leading me to shut down my computer by removing the battery. Upon restarting, the issue persisted. To resolve it, I uninstalled and then reinstalled Firefox after downloading a malware removal program using another browser. Although this fixed the problem, I lost all my bookmarks in the process. Is there any way to recover them?

I am currently experiencing difficulty accessing my usual browser, Firefox. Upon attempting to open it, I encounter the error message "Couldn't load XPCOM." I have resorted to using Chrome and researched the XPCOM issue online. However, the solutions provided involved Thunderbird and Linux, which are not familiar to me. This problem seems to have emerged after a recent background update. Despite attempting to reboot, the problem persists. I am frustrated by the lack of a phone contact for Mozilla Firefox support. I am considering reaching out via email. In order to address this matter, I kindly request Mozilla to provide a solution for the XPCOM error, allowing me to regain access to Firefox without encountering this issue in the future.

Recently, Firefox prompted me to install an update, and after doing so, I took a survey about the browser. At the end, I was offered a Galaxy iPhone for $1 in exchange for participating. Excited to upgrade from my old flip phone, I entered my credit card information for the purchase. To my dismay, moments later, I received a notification congratulating me on a membership to a dating site I did not sign up for, charging me $55. This has left me feeling shocked and uneasy. I took immediate action by canceling my credit card and now need to seek reimbursement. I also received an email from the dating site, which I chose not to open for security reasons. This whole experience has made me hesitant to trust my computer, and I am now considering hiring a professional to clean it out, costing me additional expenses.

I recently switched to Firefox and was enjoying it until I tried printing. Unfortunately, I don't like how Firefox formats the page for printing. When I select print in the drop-down menu, it formats the entire page with multiple pages instead of just printing what I see on the screen. This is really frustrating as all I want is to print one page, not a screenshot or formatted multiple pages like Firefox does. I end up switching to Chrome for printing because it simply prints the page as it appears on the screen without any extra formatting. Please advise on how to resolve this issue as I really like using Firefox, but this printing problem is making me consider switching back to Chrome. Thank you, MJCallahan.

I am experiencing issues connecting to www.go360.com and www.humana.com on Firefox. When trying to access www.go360.com, I receive an "Access Denied" message with the reference number #18.18f6fea5.[redacted].85f6652. Similarly, attempting to connect to www.humana.com results in another "Access Denied" message with the reference number #18.25f6fea5.[redacted].1ca41f1. These websites are integral to my insurance program. I have reached out to Humana and www.go360.com, and both have indicated that this may be a Firefox-related issue. How can I resolve this problem?

I am having trouble updating my email address on Firefox. I have accumulated years of bookmarks that I would like to retain. While attempting to change my primary email address to an existing account, the site does not allow me to merge them as Primary and Secondary. I urgently need this issue resolved as I will no longer have access to my current primary email soon. I possess both [redacted] and [redacted] email accounts and wish to switch the primary address to the Gmail account. However, I continuously receive an error message stating "*account already exists*."

After recently resetting my computer and losing all my files, I have been struggling to reinstall my Firefox browser. Despite having my recovery key, I am having trouble figuring out how to enter it. I have tried multiple email addresses with no success. I am reaching out for assistance as a not so computer-savvy senior citizen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - T.M.

A few Firefox updates ago, I was required to log into my account to access my saved passwords. I've been a loyal user of Firefox for years, typically staying logged in without the need to change my six-character password. However, now I'm unable to access my account due to the required minimum eight-character password. Changing my password poses a risk of losing personal information like history, bookmarks, and passwords. How can I log in without losing any data, including my saved passwords?

I have just discovered that my old computer was hacked, and accounts were created for my son and me. I am not tech-savvy and don't own a business. After finding confirmations for these accounts, I downloaded the apps but can't sign in. This is alarming as my cell phone is my only device, and my life has been infiltrated in all areas. I need help removing these accounts from all my accounts, as they are shared. I have seen the unsettling things they are involved in online, and I need to get rid of them as soon as possible.

Dear Sir or Madam, Your email about Firefox Monitor prompted me to log in to my account, unfortunately without success. I deleted the email address "[redacted]" about a year ago, as it was likely hacked. Therefore, I tried to create a new account with a different email address. I am able to proceed until the point where I need to enter the verification code, but when I do so, I receive an "invalid key" message. How can I create an account with a new email address? I recently updated to Firefox 70.0.1 on my Apple MacBook Pro with OS Catalina. Following a computer restart due to an unrelated issue, I noticed that Firefox did not restore my previous session as it usually does. Upon checking Preferences > General, I found the 'Startup' section was greyed out and the 'Restore Previous Session' box was unticked. I am unable to change this setting. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ivor.

I have encountered issues with Firefox due to the addition of Google. It seems like this change is leading to potential privacy concerns. I have come across evidence suggesting Google's involvement in data breaches and privacy violations. This has caused me distress, especially considering I am dealing with identity theft that did not occur on my personal computer but has affected me nonetheless. The added Google feature appears to compromise user data, which is alarming given my current situation. I feel disappointed that Firefox, which was once a safe browser for me, now seems to be exposing my information to potential risks. I urge the company to reevaluate this decision and remove any Google integration that could compromise user privacy. Unfortunately, if this issue persists, I may have to seek an alternative browser that prioritizes user security and does not engage in practices that put users at risk.
