I am locked out of my email account without my consent. I have followed all the provided instructions, including trying to use a verification code, but it does not work. I am being asked to verify through a yahoo account that I do not possess. When attempting to sign in to my hotmail account, I am informed that it will not be accessible until January 11th, despite having critical business emails waiting for me. I urgently require assistance to regain access to my hotmail account without relying on ineffective methods like incorrect passwords or non-functional codes.

I encountered an issue with my email account password linked to my iPhone, and I have forgotten the password, resulting in me being unable to access my email. The email account in question is [redacted] I suspect that my account may have been hacked. I am interested in altering the email address by adding a space between "rich" and "Psalms" or incorporating a number. This change is important to me as the email address is recognizable among my friends and business contacts. Kindly contact me on my cell phone at [redacted]. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Peter M. R.

I have been trying for weeks to access my Hotmail account, which I created many years ago. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the password, and now I have to wait until January 16th for something. I need to change my Facebook email from Hotmail to Gmail but cannot get the code required to do so. I have to log onto Facebook on a computer today, but I can't retrieve the code from my Hotmail account to update the information on Facebook. Someone changed my Facebook password, so I can no longer log in from another computer. To resolve this mess, I need access to my old Hotmail account.

Yesterday around 5 pm, all my emails, including the junk folder, disappeared. The junk mail also has not been received since December 7, [redacted]. Currently, my mailbox only shows emails from October 7 and a few with mixed-up dates below them. I haven't received any emails since this incident occurred, and I have not been contacted about it. I am patiently waiting for assistance to recover my missing emails. I lodged a report about the disappearance, and I received the following information: Request Number [redacted], Status Active.

I require assistance as my device has been hacked. The email accounts associated with my old device, Henry's [redacted] and [redacted], were compromised. I tried to secure the accounts but ended up linked to a Gmail account, Henry's [redacted], which is now on the dark web along with my phone number. I have since obtained a new device but have struggled to set it up due to creating multiple accounts unintentionally. The accounts I need consolidated are linked to my phone number (1-[redacted]) and the email addresses [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] I use the Authenticator app, which I believe is connected to [redacted] and [redacted] Please contact me via email at [redacted] or, preferably, by phone. I now use an iOS phone and a Windows computer. Thank you, Henry Schlogel, also known as Hendog.

I have two email addresses: [redacted] and [redacted] The latter is the one I usually use. I sent an email to two Talpa addresses in the Netherlands and they were returned as 'Undeliverable'. When I sent the same message to myself using both addresses, they again came back as 'Undeliverable'. However, when I used KPN Webmail to send the mail to Talpa, it went through without any issues. KPN mentioned it might be an Outlook problem. Strangely, when I tried sending the same mail to ITV and RTL via Outlook, they received it without any problem. I could provide further details on the 'Undeliverable' messages if necessary. Thank you.

I am a senior citizen and my email address is [redacted] Recently, I received calls from a friend and one of my grandsons asking for $[redacted], claiming I was in financial trouble. When I asked for the supposed message, it never arrived. I have not received any emails since Monday noon and even my subscriptions are quiet, unlike my usual daily contact with retired military friends. A retired Army friend shared a similar experience and had his computer fixed to restore his email service. I am unable to receive any emails at [redacted], so please reach me at [redacted]. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you, Harold S Roby.

Hello, my name is Sarah N. I've encountered an issue where my personal email was hacked, exposing my personal information. My email address is [redacted], and the phone number associated with it is [redacted]. The individual who hacked my email is [redacted] They not only deleted my information but also tried to sync everything on my email. I managed to access my email today after they changed my password. The email contains sensitive information meant for my eyes only. I am worried about this person's actions and wonder if anything can be done to identify them. Upon checking, I noticed this individual was linked through my Microsoft Authenticator app on my iPhone. I believe they have been removed, but I would appreciate confirmation and advice on possible legal steps against them. I look forward to your response regarding getting rid of this person and taking appropriate actions. Sincerely, [redacted]

For years, my primary email was a hotmail.com address. Recently, I switched to a different account but kept the hotmail one active for old contacts. After purchasing a Microsoft [redacted] account in August [redacted], issues arose with the hotmail account. Despite my attempts to access it, I was informed it didn't exist or was already in use, without any notification. I discovered today that Microsoft had converted it to an outlook.com address without warning. This change rendered the account unused for the past 18 months, leading to undeliverable error messages for anyone trying to contact me. I find this action by Microsoft unacceptable and seek an explanation for this abrupt shift.

I am having trouble accessing my Outlook email. When I try to change the password, instead of the password change box appearing, a form asks for various personal details. After filling it out, it just says to try again without success. I need help finding the correct link to change my password without filling out unnecessary forms. My email has been hacked for months, and I am eager to regain access. Thank you, Dave

A few years ago, I encountered issues with my Hotmail account. When attempting to log in, I would be prompted to provide an alternate email for a security code, followed by an extensive series of questions indicating that my account was either locked or needed recovery. Despite my efforts to answer the questions with accurate details such as old passwords, each form submission consistently resulted in a message similar to the one I just received, stating that the provided information was insufficient for account ownership validation. The final question requests a list of recent email recipients, but since I primarily used the account for Nintendo or Club Penguin verifications and not for sending emails, I am at a loss. Due to the inability to access the Outlook community tab and the lack of contact information for support, I am seeking assistance here as I am determined to regain access to my childhood account, but I am currently at an impasse.

I have encountered an issue with my Hotmail email account, which was linked to Office [redacted] when I acquired my computer in December. I am unable to recall the password used during the subscription. I have been consistently billed $6.99 per month for the Office [redacted] subscription on my credit card. Despite having access to my Microsoft account, I am unable to view this subscription. I have now obtained an annual subscription through my other email address, [redacted] I am seeking assistance to cease the $6.99 subscription charges as I no longer have access to the associated account and would greatly appreciate support in resolving this matter.

I'm confused by the new "Sweep" option in my inbox. I'm now receiving a lot of spam that used to be filtered out. What happened to my inbox filter? I don't have time to mark each spam email as "unsafe." I only want emails from my contacts to show in my inbox, like it used to be. I hope for a prompt response as I can't be online all day. Thank you. Kathy C.

Dear forum members, I am a bit confused about the new "Sweep" option in my inbox. What worries me more is that I am suddenly getting a lot of Spam that used to be filtered into my Junk Email or not show up at all. Where did my Inbox filter go? I don't have the time to mark each spam email as "unsafe." I only want to receive emails from contacts. This is how it used to work. I need this fixed, either remotely or guided step by step. I am a senior and not very tech-savvy. I believe I already sent this report before, but I am unsure what happened to it, except for it saying that I didn't mention how to resolve the issue. Hoping for a prompt response, K. C.

As a 74-year-old senior, I value security. Despite my education, handling the various requests to access my Outlook email on my new Gateway laptop is challenging. The issue began when I couldn't receive a PIN via text due to poor cell service at my Northern Vermont home. My son suggested connecting my phone to the router for service, but I mistakenly entered the wrong number. I'm locked out of my Outlook account linked to [redacted] and can't access Microsoft [redacted]. The complexity seems unfair. How can assistance be provided for seniors like me? Diane D.

When using Outlook for my business email this morning, I encountered an issue while trying to compose an email. After inputting the email address and selecting the + button, a "Search directory" button appeared with no other options available. Clicking on it led me to a message stating "found 0 directory contacts" with no way to proceed. To navigate around this, I had to close the window, sending the email to drafts. I am certain that I am not restricted from sending emails since I can successfully send emails to contacts already saved. How can I access my contacts to add email addresses and send emails smoothly without facing this obstacle?
