I encountered a frustrating situation when trying to log in. Although my credentials are correct, I received an error message regarding my account security and was prompted to authenticate myself. After following the authentication steps, I was asked to reset my password. However, upon doing so, I was informed of a temporary service issue and advised to try again later. This cycle has persisted for over a year, with at least 20 unsuccessful attempts on various days, weeks, and months. The email address I am trying to regain access to is [redacted]

I am unable to access my Outlook account from my PS4 to view an email necessary to recover my PS4 account. The phone linked to my account belonged to my deceased father, and I no longer have access to it. Unfortunately, we were estranged before his passing due to a past altercation. I am attempting to regain access to my Outlook account, but I can't remember the email I used. I have only sent fewer than five emails from that account. Online verification seems impossible for me now.

When attempting to open Outlook, I receive a message prompting me to update it due to a lack of permission. The notice includes an Account Status indicating the last successful synchronization. If utilizing the new Mail experience in Outlook.com, go to Settings, then View all Outlook settings, and select Sync email to manage Connected accounts. For those on the Classic version, go to Settings, then Mail, followed by Connected accounts. View and amend the details for the stopped working connected account. It is important to remove or resolve the issue with the account to cease these notifications. Microsoft assures they will never request your password via email. It's crucial to note this notification is not an email and cannot be replied to. Although I am utilizing the default Outlook program in Windows 10, I am unable to locate the Settings icon on the toolbar. Assistance in restoring Outlook functionality would be greatly appreciated.

When attempting to open Outlook, an error message appears requesting an update and indicating a lack of permission. The message gives guidance on resolving the issue. It states that the last successful sync was on a specific date and time in UTC, providing instructions to fix it based on the version being used. For users with the new Mail experience in Outlook.com, they should navigate to the Settings icon on the toolbar and select View all Outlook settings, then proceed to Sync email to review Connected accounts. Those utilizing the Classic version of Outlook.com should access the Settings icon on the toolbar, then choose Mail and Connected accounts to address the disconnected account. It also emphasizes the importance of correcting the problem to cease receiving such notifications. The advice stresses never sharing passwords via email and clarifies that this notification is not an email and cannot be responded to. It's mentioned that there might not be a Settings icon on the toolbar, leading to confusion, and specifies the usage of the Outlook program included with Windows **. Assistance is requested to resolve the Outlook functionality issue.

I am unable to receive emails from Frontier.com in Outlook since Monday or Tuesday this week. I have contacted both Best Buy Geek Squad and Frontier.com, spending several hours on the phone troubleshooting settings. Frontier claims it is an Outlook issue. I prefer using Outlook for my emails and need help fixing this receive/send error: "Receiving report error 0x800cccia Your server does not support encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance." Even after extensive conversations with Geek Squad and Frontier, the issue remains unresolved, as Frontier insists it is an Outlook problem. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter.

I am having trouble accessing my account even though I know my email and password. The system keeps flagging it for strange activity and I have not been able to verify my ownership even after receiving an email. I am frustrated with this situation as I am certain it is my account. The recent changes in my phone devices, from iPhone 5 to Samsung Android 3 and then two different iPhones 11, might have triggered this security measure. I am also suspicious that my ex-wife might be trying to access my account. I am willing to provide any necessary information, including a photo of my passport. My email is [redacted], but I go by the name Sascha Sdu…, commonly known as Zaza by my friends, and the "ro" is for Romania, where I am from, specifically Craiova. Please assist me in resolving this issue with the strange activity log-in block.

I have been a Gmail user for many years and I am currently trying to recover my Hotmail account in order to regain access to my gaming accounts. Unfortunately, my old phone number associated with the account has been changed, causing difficulty in the recovery process.
I have tried various passwords that I can remember and provided my correct full name, but I am still facing rejections from the support team. Remembering the exact recipient of my last email sent more than 5 years ago is proving to be challenging.
Feeling quite hopeless at the moment and reaching out for assistance.

I have been locked out of my Outlook email account for allegedly violating their terms and conditions. However, I believe this is untrue. To recover my account, I am required to receive a text message on my phone number. The issue is I no longer have access to that phone number as I updated it with Outlook when I got a new one. When I try to enter the new number for the confirmation text, it states that they are unable to send a text to the new number.

I created my Outlook account when I was 13, which was previously a Hotmail account. Now at 23, I'm struggling to access it. Despite numerous attempts over the years, I can't sign in. I have identification to prove my identity, but the birthdate I used may not be accurate as I fudged it to meet the age requirement back then to use the MSN chatroom. This email is vital for my writing endeavors; unfortunately, I've been locked out due to password complications and can't reset it. While I have a Gmail account, I need to regain access to my Hotmail for my linked writing account. The security questions I've attempted aren't working. If there's any way to recover it, that would be greatly appreciated.

When the internet was new, the goal was to make it user-friendly for everyone. However, it seems that now there is a trend of complicating things unnecessarily. I miss the simplicity of the old Hotmail interface. I wish for basic functions like easily accessing junk mail in chronological order, being able to log out without a hassle, and having a clean layout for reading and replying to emails. I don't want to struggle with the system or have to relearn how to use it. I hope for a return to the straightforward design of the past. If things don't improve, I might have to switch to Gmail for a more user-friendly experience.

I keep receiving this email, but no matter what I do, it says I cannot verify that the account is mine. I am unable to even answer security questions. I no longer have the same phone number and can't remember the password.
Please update the authentication details for the account [redacted] It seems we don't have permission to fetch emails for [redacted] Account Status: The most recent synchronization was completed on [redacted]-11-18 14:27:45 UTC. Here's how to resolve the issue: If you're using the new email experience in Outlook.com, select Settings icon and then go to View all Outlook settings. Choose Sync email to check your connected accounts. Verify the information for the account that is not working and fix the issue. If you're using the classic version of Outlook.com, click on Settings > Mail > Connected accounts. Check the information for the connected account that is not synchronizing and correct the problem. Note that to stop these messages, remove or correct the connected account that is not syncing. Microsoft never asks for your password via email. This is a system message, and replying to it is not possible. Thanks in advance for your help. Sincerely, Miriam Natalie Steiger.

Dear Outlook,
I am struggling to recover my email address "[redacted]" I have tried everything to regain access to my account, but I have not been able to. This new email address has not been used for mailing yet, and I have not set up an alternate email or phone number. The last question on the form is challenging as the email is new, and I haven't sent any emails from it. Please, Outlook, I am desperately seeking help. Please allow me to at least reset my password.
Thank you.
