I recently installed Office [redacted] and I am experiencing issues opening existing files in Word. Whenever I attempt to open a file, I am redirected to an "upload to OneDrive" screen followed by an error message stating it is unable to upload the file with an "off" icon. I have checked my file system settings, verified that permissions are enabled, and reviewed Windows 10 privacy settings as suggested. Despite my efforts, I am unable to get past this issue. I contacted customer support twice, creating cases [redacted] and [redacted], but did not receive the assistance I needed. Phone calls were missed or disconnected, and the chat option ended abruptly. I am frustrated and seeking guidance from Microsoft to resolve this persistent problem.

I really need assistance with my Micro Soft Office. I was in the middle of working on an Excel Spreadsheet, but suddenly I'm unable to type anything into it. The message "Unlicensed Product" in red is causing me a lot of frustration. I'm not very tech-savvy and I have work that needs to be done urgently. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. My name is Trina Davis, and I'm worried about losing my job if I can't resolve this issue promptly.

My computer was running slow, so I contacted my Dell representative. Unfortunately, the representative had to end the call because the monitor went black for 2 and a half days. When it finally turned back on, I contacted Dell again, but the monitor still wouldn't work. The representative advised me to wipe the computer and start over, but I had already ordered a new monitor from Walmart during the blackout. When the Dell rep couldn't resolve the issue and hung up, I tried restarting the computer myself to avoid losing data. Surprisingly, it started working fine. On the third day, I reached out to Dell again, and they discovered 65 Microsoft errors on my system, which were fixed. The representative mentioned that Microsoft is currently addressing various errors. Due to this ordeal, I inadvertently purchased a new monitor. I am seeking a $[redacted] refund from Microsoft.

I'm Brenda S. Hay, reaching out at [redacted] While I understand this forum focuses on Microsoft Office issues, I am seeking assistance to redirect me to the appropriate department for resolving a matter that has been ongoing for over a decade. Around 15 years ago, my son owned an x-box, which we no longer possess, and I lack the serial number and login details. Despite this, I continue to receive yearly charges of $63.39 from Microsoft on my Visa card every November. Attempts to contact Microsoft at the listed number, [redacted], have proven futile as it leads to a non-functional voicemail. I have disputed these charges with my credit card company but remain unsuccessful in reaching Microsoft directly. Any assistance in canceling these unnecessary recurring charges would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me via email for further communication. Thank you.

A few weeks back, my wife bought a refurbished Dell E7450 with Windows 10 Pro, Intel Core i7-5600U 2.6GHz, 16GB RAM, and a 500GB Solid State Drive. Unfortunately, it started randomly turning off. After spending nearly $[redacted] online for help that didn't work, it seems like a scam. Today, we contacted our bank to dispute the charges. This morning, when trying to use the "Fresh Start option in Win10 Pro," the keyboard got locked, and even using an external keyboard didn't work. Can anyone help with this keyboard issue?

Subject: Difficulty Cancelling Microsoft [redacted] Subscription
I have been attempting to cancel my Microsoft [redacted] subscription since October 25, [redacted], before its renewal on November 1, [redacted]. Despite filling in information and going through various steps, I have not been able to find a simple cancel option. I recently received an email thanking me for payment for another year, even though the attached card is no longer valid. It is frustrating that £79.99 was deducted for a service I no longer need and am struggling to cancel.
As an 81-year-old woman living on a modest pension, I am in need of the refunded amount. I attempted to cancel and request a refund last Thursday/Friday, encountering further difficulties. I have contacted Customer Service but have not received a response. It is unfair for Microsoft to retain my money against my wishes due to a complex cancellation process that seems to lead nowhere. I kindly request a confirmation of my subscription cancellation and a refund to my credit card.
Sincerely,
Yvonne W.

Subject: Difficulty Cancelling Microsoft [redacted] Subscription
I have been attempting to cancel my Microsoft [redacted] subscription since October 25, [redacted], prior to the November 1, [redacted], renewal date. Despite numerous attempts, I found it challenging to locate a simple cancellation link among the various steps and verification codes.
After realizing my card was no longer valid, I decided to stop trying, only to later discover an email thanking me for the payment of a new yearly subscription. I contacted my card company, who explained they had to pay the recurring charge. This situation is frustrating!
Microsoft has deducted £79.99 for a service I no longer need and seem unable to cancel. As an 81-year-old lady on a tight pension, I need my money back. Despite recent attempts to cancel and request a refund, I faced more obstacles and received no acknowledgement from Customer Service.
It is unjust for a corporation as significant as Microsoft to make cancellation procedures so convoluted and take money from a customer who wishes to end the subscription. Please confirm my refund to my credit card promptly.
Sincerely,
Yvonne W.

I purchased an ASUS VivoBook Ultra 15 that came with a pre-installed Office [redacted] Home & Student version. Unfortunately, after sending the laptop to the service center for over two months and receiving it back with a new motherboard, I realized that my Office software was missing. I am now unable to retrieve it, leaving all my work pending without access to any Office apps offline on my laptop. The only access I have is through online Office applications via my Office Teams account from my employer. I am in need of assistance to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.

I recently received my Capital One bill with unauthorized charges totaling almost $[redacted]. I will be disputing these charges with Capital One as I did not authorize them. I am unsure who made these transactions. I have a fourteen-year-old who uses Xbox1, but he does not have permission to make such purchases. Being an 81-year-old grandmother on social security, this is a significant financial burden. Please assist in resolving this matter and ensure any subscriptions with you are canceled.

I recently bought a new computer and forgot my new Outlook password. In order to use the email on other devices, I have to update the password. When attempting to reset the password, the system requires old passwords, old email subject lines, or credit card purchase details for verification. Unfortunately, as it is a new computer, I do not have sufficient information to provide what it asks for. The system keeps repeating the request, and I am unable to move forward. Can anyone assist me in updating my password so I can access my email without getting stuck in this loop?

I called for a reason, not to be directed to resolve this online. My concern is that your company has charged my account for multiple transactions, causing me to face overdraft fees. I had made a payment for a year and now there are five or more transactions, with four of them being the same amount. Three were processed on one day and the same amount was taken out the day before. I prefer a phone call instead of an email. I find this situation frustrating and unnecessary. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I encountered an issue while using my computer as my Microsoft account suddenly stopped working. I switched to another device only to find out that my subscription had expired. I possessed documentation at home containing my subscription details, which made me uncertain about the situation. Wanting to continue my important tasks, I decided to renew the subscription. Upon attempting the payment, a message revealed that the subscription was valid until May [redacted], preventing me from renewing it at that moment.
Assuming the payment had failed, I retained my old account. However, after checking my bank account, I confirmed that the payment had been processed. As a result, I now have two Microsoft accounts with identical information. I am seeking assistance in canceling the recent account, as I wish to retain the original one until its renewal in May [redacted]. Moreover, I would appreciate a refund for the duplicate payment. The emails associated with my accounts are [redacted] and [redacted]

My previous Microsoft [redacted] Personal subscription expired in January [redacted], prompting me to start a new Microsoft [redacted] Family account on 1/31/[redacted] through PayPal. I was initially guided to use the outlook account [redacted], which proved unsuccessful. Subsequently, I created a new Outlook account [redacted], which seemed to be accepted. However, the Microsoft [redacted] Family account is now nonfunctional, and I am being requested to provide evidence that I attempted to recover the first Outlook account despite having already changed it. This situation is increasingly frustrating as I am unable to access these new accounts.

I'm experiencing issues with my account and I'm currently locked out. I have been a long-time user of Hotmail. I can access my account on my phone but not on my PC. Previously, I was able to reset my account by speaking to a representative over the phone, verifying my identity, and asking questions for clarification. The directions in the recovery email and application differ slightly, causing confusion. My old phone number was [redacted], but due to changing to a new contract with ATT, I now have different phone numbers. I believe I have answered most questions correctly but am unsure about some that may be partially correct. My Microsoft email is [redacted] Please contact me at [redacted] as my previous number is no longer active. I'm willing to provide any necessary documentation, even opting for a facial verification over a video call.

I am experiencing issues with my account and am currently locked out. Despite attempting to use the account recovery option, I have encountered confusion due to slight discrepancies between the recovery email and the application process. Previously, I was able to reset my account by speaking with a representative over the phone. I now find myself unable to access my account on my PC but can on my phone. Although I believe I have answered most questions correctly, those that were marked as incorrect (without specific details provided) are likely only partially inaccurate. My Microsoft email is *****@***.com. Please contact me at ********** as my previous number is no longer in use. I am willing to provide any necessary documentation, including ID, social security card, and birth certificate, and am open to a video call for facial verification. I strongly feel that speaking with a representative directly would help resolve this matter more efficiently than the automated system currently in place. Thank you.

Recently, I received a text message from hackers pretending to be Microsoft, thanking me for a subscription to "MS Office Business [redacted]" and stating that $[redacted] was deducted from my account. Later, they called me asking to download a program on my computer, claiming to be from Microsoft. After a suspicious interaction, I realized it was a scam and confronted them, causing them to disconnect. I did not fill out the form they requested. I am concerned about the security of my computer and if my information has been compromised. Should I take any precautions before using my computer again?

A few months back, Comcast (Xfinity) did an update, and since then, I have been unable to access Outlook directly from my computer screen. Instead, I now have to sign in through Google Chrome every time. I also encountered issues with missing emails and being told I had exceeded my email limit. After a lengthy chat with Xfinity support, I managed to regain access to my Outlook account, but now the emails seem stuck in a download loop. I want to stop relying on Xfinity and return to the previous convenient access to my emails by just clicking on the icon on my iMac screen. If needed, I am considering switching to a PC to avoid dealing with Mac-related frustrations.
