Seeking assistance with repairing an installation of Windows 7 using a Windows 7 SP1 image but unsure of the product key location.
Struggling for years to install SP1 due to recurring errors. The computer has a recovery partition that I intend to update with SP1 and further patches.
Another computer with a similar setup updated smoothly to recent [redacted] patches. It also includes a factory reset partition, which I haven't touched. Instead, I rely on periodic image backups.
My priority is to avoid reconfiguring or reinstalling programs. I've been advised to slipstream all current updates and attempt a repair installation from a newly created DVD derived from the hidden partition. The process is currently ongoing, taking days if not weeks.
Both computers were eBay purchases. The laptop's key sticker is fading but I managed to upgrade to SP1. However, for the desktop, I am unaware of the key's whereabouts. Will I require one if I can't locate the key?
I aim to upgrade to SP1 as some software now demands it; e.g., Kodi and KMyMoney 2.8.2. I'm content with Windows 7 SP1 and have no interest in upgrading to Windows 8 or higher.

My Hotmail account is currently blocked. I have attempted verification three times, each time being told there is insufficient information provided. The only detail I have not disclosed is my credit card number, which is not something I am willing to share. Additionally, since creating this account, I got married and have used both my maiden and married names in the verification process. Being a retired Military Veteran, I established this account while residing in one of six provinces I have lived in. Therefore, selecting the province for verification could be challenging. I believe the information provided should be adequate for you to unlock my account. I also have another account linked, which was supposed to receive a verification number that was never sent. Is there an issue with that account as well? I would appreciate assistance in resolving these matters promptly.

I'm having trouble accessing my Hotmail account, "[redacted]" The system is showing someone else might be using my account when it's just me trying to log in. I've been attempting to access my email for three days, requesting verification codes, but I'm still unable to get in. Answering security questions is challenging after such a long time. This issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible. I rely on this email for banking, important emails, and I have tickets saved for CCMA on Sept 9 as well as a parking ticket receipt. It's frustrating to face these difficulties. I've already emailed my personal information and updated phone number from [redacted] to [redacted], previously Rachel Grenier, now Rachel Baillargeon, born on May 23, [redacted], living at [redacted] Fleet St, Welland, Ontario, L3B4X4. You can reach me at "[redacted]" if needed. Please unlock my account "[redacted]" or contact me at [redacted]. Thank you, Rachel Grenier.

I am currently locked out of my Microsoft account because I forgot the changed password. Two-step verification is causing difficulty in resetting it. Despite trying to use the authentication app, I am unable to sign in without the password. Fortunately, using my secondary email worked. However, trying to use my phone number has been unsuccessful for nearly a month as it keeps saying "temporarily out of service." I cannot afford to wait the full 30 days for your review because all my important data like photos, documents, emails, and applications are tied to my account. For instance, the backup key to my tablet is on OneDrive, rendering my tablet useless as I cannot complete the backup and restore process.

I used to log into my computer with a Microsoft Online account, but encountered issues recently. The screen would go black after one minute, prompting me to sign in again. I've created a local account and am currently using that. I removed my Microsoft Online account from the computer, but now I wish to add it back with my original email. However, when I enter my email and password, it's not accepted. Can I use my original email and password again? Could someone contact me regarding this matter at [redacted] instead? Thank you.

I received a notification about needing to secure my MSN account due to potential unauthorized access. I followed the prompt on Windows 10 to verify my information and update my password successfully. However, upon logging back in with the new password, I was prompted to verify my identity by entering a code sent to my phone, which I did not receive. Despite numerous attempts throughout the night to request the code, I only received some after they had expired. After reaching the limit of attempts, I was informed to try again the next day. Despite waiting several days, I am still unable to access my account as I am repeatedly asked to enter a code that I never receive. The account in question is: [redacted]

I am experiencing some issues while using PowerPoint for Mac. Two key problems I have noticed are:
1) Unable to change font color as the dropdown box does not appear.
2) Unable to change the layout due to the missing dropdown box.
Despite having installed all updates, these issues persist. I have reached out twice for assistance and was promised a callback, but I have not received one. My case number is [redacted]. Urgent pro bono work is pending, and I require these problems to be resolved promptly. Otherwise, I will have to spend extra hours at work instead of completing these presentations comfortably at home. I have a subscription and would like these features to work correctly, given the significant cost. I can be reached at [redacted] until 11am MST tomorrow. I need to know if this is a system-wide problem or specific to my setup, but regardless, quick resolution is necessary as I have already waited too long.

I am having trouble accessing my Hotmail account that I haven't been able to log into for a few years. I filled out the security form but faced challenges with the Skype section. Despite providing additional information, I received a response indicating insufficient details from a bot. If this issue persists, I am considering removing all Microsoft products from my computer, including reinstalling the operating system and abandoning all Microsoft services without paying the $[redacted] account recovery fee. As a single mother, I find the lack of customer support frustrating, and I feel unsupported by such a large company.

I bought the [redacted] Office Home & Student, logged into my account, and entered the product key FNH4X-9WK2P-GBRBB-BYB49-HCGJ7. However, after waiting for it to load, it just took me back to the Microsoft home page. When I tried to access Office, it turned out to be Office [redacted] instead of the [redacted] version I intended to install with the product key. I spent $[redacted] on this and now I'm not getting what I wanted. How can this be resolved so that I can have the correct [redacted] Office Home & Student instead of Office [redacted]?

I use Microsoft Office for Mac [redacted] on my MacBook Pro. Last time, when I had to replace the hard drive, I faced issues with restoring my email files. Although I managed to recover them eventually, the folder headings were lost, requiring months to restore hundreds of folders and their contents. Would it be advisable to install Office [redacted] for Mac first to avoid this problem next time?

This morning, as I was ending my computer session, I was alerted about a download that was intended to shut down the system. Upon my return after two hours, the computer was stuck on a blue screen with a rotating circle. I had no control and had to power it off. After restarting, I only have access to the start page, unable to proceed further. The only functional source is Google Chrome, allowing me to reach out for help. I own a Hewlett Packard all-in-one unit with Windows 10, indicating that it is up to date. I am seeking a solution to this issue but haven't found one yet.

I am logged into my Microsoft account to play PS4 Minecraft with the new Bedrock edition. Although my TV screen shows that I am logged in, I can't invite friends to join the game. This feature was working fine before, but for the last 3 days, it's not functional. I contacted Microsoft support, and they mentioned no issues with my Xbox One or the connection to the PS4 in the living room. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Last night, my computer was bombarded with numerous Windows messages that I couldn't close. A message supposedly from Windows Security Microsoft Edge indicated that Server lskdnop2.xyz was requesting my username and password. It urged me to call a Windows Technician or Administrator Department at [redacted] immediately. Amid the chaos of sirens and pop-ups, I noticed an error message "Debug Malware error 0x80093acf." Though overwhelmed, I shut down my computer. Today, after restarting, everything seems fine. I'm now curious if others have had this experience. Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you. P.S. I understand I'm not reaching out to Microsoft directly, but if you recommend I do, please share how I should proceed. Thank you once more.

Good evening,
I recently set up a new Hotmail account for my brother, [redacted] I uploaded a profile photo of our late mother, opted out of receiving notifications from Microsoft, and did not include his birthdate (Feb 14, [redacted]). Upon enabling Skype and changing the name to "Bryan," I logged out and couldn't log back in despite multiple attempts with the password. Resetting the password using my email was unsuccessful as I couldn't provide enough information.
Microsoft's recovery process requesting additional email addresses or subject lines doesn't apply here since the account hasn't been used. After trying to create a new account with the same email, [redacted], and being informed it's already taken, I suspect a password typo during the initial setup. I seek guidance to retain the email for my brother.
Thank you for your assistance.

My son uses an Xbox One and needs to remove a credit card from his account. He is having trouble doing it on the Xbox for some reason. We attempted to access account.microsoft.com to remove the card, but we are unable to remember the password. When trying the "Forgot password" option, we keep receiving a "Temporary problem" error message. This situation is frustrating as it seems like Microsoft will keep billing my son indefinitely. Any assistance in resolving this account access issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have two desktop computers at home. At one point, Microsoft offered free upgrades to Windows 10, and I am currently using Windows 7. Unfortunately, due to health issues including cancer and a triple bypass, I was unable to take advantage of this offer. Now that I am feeling a bit better, I would like to inquire if it's possible to extend the offer to upgrade to Windows 10 for both of my desktops. The constant reminders about Windows 7 being vulnerable to hackers are causing me stress, especially considering my health conditions. Financially, I am struggling as I rely on old age security each month. Growing older has proven to be more challenging than I expected. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using a service on my computer and found that I had parked in the same lot where your building stands nearly 2 1/2 years ago. I am frustrated because my computer keeps giving me errors about a product key for a Windows 10 upgrade. Despite multiple attempts and contacting Microsoft Canada, I have faced account issues. The lack of support is disappointing, especially as someone who lives in your city and knows employees who have helped others. These technical problems have led me to create multiple email accounts. The online experience since Christmas has been a nightmare. I've lost access to my LinkedIn and Twitter accounts due to these issues. I am upset about the whole situation and worried about what email address to provide next week. Contacting me through my lawyer is the best option for now. Thank you.

Hello,
I am having trouble accessing my Microsoft account as I have forgotten the password for my laptop. Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to recover my account due to insufficient information. The email I received from the Microsoft Account Team advises me to submit a new account verification form with accurate details to increase my chances of regaining access. I am frustrated as I have been unable to reach their tech support over the phone for assistance.
Sincerely,
Fernando
