I recently had my account locked for ID verification and after speaking with a support agent, I regained access. I uploaded my Driver's License and Social Security card through the Miwam Dashboard and also faxed the documents. Although my certifications were approved, I have not received payments since May. Despite multiple messages through the Miwam Dashboard, I have not received any responses. As a single parent of two young sons, the financial strain is increasing, and my savings are depleting. I am desperate for assistance to resolve this matter and receive my owed payments. Your help in resolving this issue or providing guidance would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I applied for unemployment benefits in Michigan in May [redacted], while residing there. My original Claim ID was C[redacted]-0. After working a contract position in North Carolina from June [redacted] to January [redacted], I resumed receiving benefits from Michigan with a new Claim ID C[redacted]-0. There was a technical gap between my old and new claims, which led to a two-week delay in benefits. Due to this, I missed out on receiving $[redacted] ($[redacted] for each week) that I was entitled to for the weeks in April. I am looking to retroactively receive this amount if possible.

In May [redacted], I initiated my unemployment benefits claim in MI while residing there. My original Claim ID was C[redacted]-0. Subsequently, I secured a contract position in NC from late June [redacted] to January [redacted]. After this, I resumed receiving benefits from MI until mid-April. At that point, I had the option to select either MI or NC for benefits and opted for MI, resulting in a new Claim ID, C[redacted]-0. There was a technical gap between my old and new claims, causing a hiccup in filing for two weeks from April 27, wherein I missed out on $[redacted] in benefits ($[redacted] per week). I began receiving benefits in April through July and would appreciate receiving the $[redacted] retroactively if feasible.

I am reaching out for assistance regarding my unemployment claim with MI Unemployment. Since March 16, I have not received any payments or updates on my claim. Despite numerous attempts to contact MI Unemployment over the past few months, I have been unable to speak with a representative. My online account shows issues such as "Stop Payment Indicator" and "Open Non-Monetary issue" for the weeks I have claimed. This situation has caused me a lot of frustration and uncertainty, especially as I prepare to start college at Michigan State soon. I would appreciate any guidance or support in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my certified weeks from March 28th to July 4th, totaling 15 weeks. I submitted the certification on July 9th when I filed my claim, and they were marked completed on July 10th. However, since then, they have been showing as processed, pending payment, with a total of $10,[redacted]. I have received payments for weeks starting July 11th without any problems. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via calls, online chat, and messages to unemployment, I have not received any response or clarification on the issue. I uploaded my driver's license and social security card yesterday to verify my identity, but I am still awaiting assistance. I have had no alerts or issues besides the pending payments. My username is: beth911@ and my account shows I have 19 weeks left. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been approved for unemployment benefits until December 31, [redacted], and my weekly benefits have been certified and submitted. I received benefits for July 4-25, [redacted], and then on 8/12/20, I received a deposit. However, I have not received my back benefits from when I filed in March due to COVID-19 closing my school program. I made errors in April and have not received a response despite sending multiple emails. I am struggling to pay my bills and need help to understand when I will receive my pending payments. Please contact me at [redacted].

Since March, I have been receiving PUA benefits. Despite repeated attempts to reach an agent for assistance, I am constantly met with a message about high call volumes. Every day, I visit the PUA website and leave messages detailing my situation. Since the week ending on 7-4-[redacted], when I didn't claim benefits due to caring for my ill fiancé, my benefits have been denied. I have submitted additional information both by mail and as attachments. I have exhausted all possible avenues to understand why my benefits are suspended. Trying to speak to an agent online leads to referrals back to the phone line, creating a frustrating cycle. I am desperate to have my benefits reinstated or to find a way to communicate with a live person. This process is becoming as challenging as contacting the IRS.

My benefits were unexpectedly halted as of the week ending in July 4th. Despite multiple attempts to inquire about the status, my account remains stuck in adjudication with no progress. This has led to a delay of 7 weeks in payments, 4 weeks of PUA funds, and 3 weeks of regular payments. The provided phone number is unresponsive, only playing a recorded message about the overwhelming number of calls. When trying to contact an agent online, the timeframe is minimal before being redirected back to the inaccessible phone line. The lack of clarity on the cause of the benefit stoppage intensifies the frustration each day. I am in urgent need of assistance to resolve this issue promptly.

I called the number regarding my claim for $[redacted] scheduled for August 13, [redacted] but did not receive it. In my account, the certifications show I should have received $[redacted].00 twice and $[redacted].00 eight times, all marked as issued on August 14, [redacted]. It is now September 2, [redacted], and I have not received this money. The top 3 certifications mention "Additional Claim required." I am unsure what this means and need assistance in resolving it. I urgently require this money for rent and food as I only have $1.77 left. My financial situation is dire, and I can't delay payment for much longer as my landlord is expecting the rent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to file a Federal COVID Unemployment application since March 16, [redacted]. I lost my employment due to the COVID pandemic and cannot return to work. I require help in completing a Federal COVID UIA Application promptly to access the urgently needed Federal Employment benefits. I have already sent all required employer income and personal information to UIA after March 16, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach out to UIA personnel for guidance. The website indicates that I have logged into 2 accounts, hindering my application progress. Kindly assist in deleting the extra account and providing a clear path to access the Federal COVID Unemployment application. To share the information, please CALL me at the provided number. I have been unable to apply for Federal COVID Unemployment benefits since March 16, [redacted].

I have waited six weeks for my unemployment claim to be processed, and I have yet to receive any updates. I did not voluntarily leave my job; I had a doctor's note that limited my ability to work, but my employer dismissed me instead of accommodating it. Despite regularly certifying my claims since the week of 8/2/20, I have not received any determinations or appointments. I was under the impression that approval typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. I have attempted to contact the hotline to speak with an agent directly to understand the delay, but I have been unable to connect with anyone as the call gets disconnected. How can I reach a representative for assistance?

I mistakenly indicated I was not a US citizen on my initial claim, leading to a denial. After filing an appeal, I received an email confirming my Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) application's approval. The email mentioned that I need to recertify for my PUA claim to receive payments for the previous denied weeks. However, upon checking my account alerts, I only see my next check-in date listed as September 14th. This limits my ability to correct my errors and retrieve payments for the past five weeks. As my financial situation is becoming critical, I urgently request assistance in resolving this issue. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I may have misunderstood the Claim application details, resulting in me applying for a longer time than necessary. I was let go on 09/11/[redacted] and submitted my claim on 09/13/[redacted] after finalizing a saved draft from 09/12/[redacted]. Upon advice from my parents, I mistakenly included a temporary work shutdown for a week in April without fully understanding the consequences. I have already reported working for a week via MARVIN today. My claim number is C[redacted]-0. 1. Is it possible to correct my claim to reflect the accurate time frame now? 2. If not, would there be any issues if I file a claim for the actual week I was recently unemployed (Ending 09/19/[redacted]) after reporting two consecutive weeks of work for this month? 2a. If so, what steps should I take to prevent any problems with the system?

I applied for unemployment in March because I have more than one employee, so I had to apply for the PUA. I was receiving the PUA until July when the extra $[redacted] a month ended. My whole unemployment situation got messed up because it reverted back to regular unemployment. When I certify at the end, after I submit it, it used to tell me the amount I would receive. Now it shows me nothing. For my last certification, I received $[redacted] in benefits, but I was expecting the extra $[redacted] a week, which I did not receive. How can I find out if I got back pay for August's $[redacted]? My Miwam account does not show any record of receiving money or certifying past July 30th. Can someone assist me with this issue?

I applied on the 17th of July and was approved for 39 weeks. I certified for all the dates and received payments on the 29th, but have only received regular pay for 8 weeks, not the $[redacted] payment yet. My benefits started on February 29th, which is unusual due to it being a leap day. I certified for the 12th - 19th of September, provided the amount, and now it shows that it's being processed for pending payment, like my back pay from the 29th. I talked to PUA and they said everything looks good with my account. I withdrew a certified week on August 1 due to inaccuracies about being denied other claims, which has been fixed after contacting PUA. However, it's missing under my submitted. The $[redacted] payments started on the 1st, and there may have been a glitch. My girlfriend and I applied at the same time, she received all payments on August 12th, including the $[redacted] payments, but my payments have been pending since the 12th. If anyone has any answers or a similar situation, please let me know. Thank you.

I am writing to the UIA to inquire about the release of my certification payments. I have submitted all required documentation for my claim. During a previous conversation with a customer service representative, I was advised to drop the payment periods for February [redacted] due to some payment concerns. Additionally, I have not received the Debit Card I applied for through UIA. If withdrawing from the payments in February [redacted] will facilitate the release of my payments, I am willing to do so. For further information, please contact me at [redacted] (home) or [redacted] (cell).

I understand the challenges posed by the current situation, and I have been patiently waiting for assistance. Back in July, I applied for unemployment benefits, which were approved starting from April. I initially didn't realize self-employed individuals could apply for unemployment, but upon learning so, I contacted the relevant authorities and was assured of my eligibility. I received a bank card with an initial deposit of $[redacted], but since then, I haven't received any further payments despite regular recertification. Despite numerous attempts to reach out for help, including contacting the website and receiving a payment summary via email, the funds have not been deposited onto my card. The lack of communication and unresolved issues have put me in a difficult financial situation, leading me to consider drastic measures like selling my car. I sincerely hope for your prompt assistance in resolving this matter, as the current avenues seem to be unproductive. Thank you for your anticipated help. - GN Corazza

I am eligible to receive Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits of $[redacted] per week in addition to my state's weekly benefit. Unfortunately, I haven't received the PUA benefits for the past 8 weeks. This has put me in a difficult situation as my car has been repossessed, and I am facing an eviction order from the court. I have a disabled adult son who uses a wheelchair and depends on me. Despite reaching out to my district representative's office five times, I keep getting the same response that they are still investigating my case. I was furloughed from my job at a hospital on June 26, [redacted].

Why do so many unemployed individuals have to endure lengthy waits for their processed claims to be paid? It has been 9 months since my initial claim. Although I managed to work briefly when Covid conditions improved, I now find myself unemployed again. Are we being deceived? Is there a potential large-scale fraudulent scheme at play, diverting insurance funds elsewhere? With 5 children, a spouse, and a home to support, the challenges loom large. I have previously held low-paying jobs to provide for my family, kept up with mortgage payments, and saved for emergencies. However, many others may be in more desperate circumstances. Despite my modest preparations, uncertainty remains. It is disheartening to cling to false hope daily while potential solutions seem within reach online. As Christmas approaches and expenses increase, it is crucial to address this issue promptly if the funds have not been misappropriated. Implementing strategies such as employing outreach workers similar to the Census can help spread awareness. How can a nation of our stature not resolve this situation? I believe there are ways to tackle this pressing issue.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my email, making it impossible to know which email address I used for my prior claim with UIA. Despite numerous attempts at contacting an agent to resolve this issue and determine the email associated with my account, I have been unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I am unable to submit a new claim using the correct email due to system restrictions. Additionally, I have been unable to schedule an appointment as all time slots appear to be booked. Regrettably, I cannot find assistance or navigate the system effectively. My attempts to reach a representative by phone have also been unsuccessful. I am in need of assistance with my account.
