Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you of an unfortunate incident that occurred on Friday, April 28th involving a meal order from McDonald's through Uber Eats. I was staying at the Marriott Residence Inn in Jamaica Queens (near JFK airport) with my family for an early flight the next day.
Despite ordering at 6 pm, the delivery time kept extending, leading me to contact Uber support. The promised 7:10 pm delivery did not happen, and after struggling to communicate with a driver who claimed to have arrived, the food was never received.
Attempts to secure a refund through Uber Eats were futile, as their records wrongly marked the order as delivered. McDonald's customer service redirected me back to Uber Eats, leaving me dissatisfied.
I anticipate a thorough investigation into this matter and a swift $75 refund for the undelivered order. Otherwise, I will be compelled to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I also wish to address the language barrier issue between customers and drivers, emphasizing the need for improved communication methods.
I urge you to address these concerns promptly and prevent similar occurrences in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am disappointed by the quality of the food I received today. The Big Mac burger had a hair baked into it, which was unpleasant and affected my enjoyment of the meal. I expect better from your company and hope you will prevent this from happening again. I am requesting a refund for the food and delivery charges. I have a photo for proof and am eager to hear how you plan to address this issue.

I recently bought breakfast from the McDonald's at [redacted] West Pensacola Street in Tallahassee, FL. Unfortunately, the store's cleanliness was lacking, with a dirty floor covered in paper that appeared to have not been mopped. The drive-through was closed, causing a backlog of customers waiting inside while some employees were on their phones. The customer service, particularly from the young staff, was noticeably poor. Some employees were seen with inappropriate attire, no hair nets were worn, and the overall cleanliness of the store was questionable. The kiosks were also frequently out of order, leading to order mistakes. It's essential for the management to monitor the drive-through closures, store cleanliness, and employee attitudes to improve customer experience and potentially boost sales, especially during the morning shift. I visited McDonald's on 5-2-[redacted] around 9 pm. The dine-in closed at 9 pm. I was on foot and my children couldn't have McDonald's that day because they refused to serve me. There was no one in the drive-thru, so I asked if they could take my order or bring the food to the door, but the manager declined. I was very disappointed because my children missed out on their meal and other options were closed or too far for us to walk. This particular McDonald's is in Hemet, located at [redacted] Florida Ave. It is frustrating when McDonald's closes early, especially for those without cars who rely on walking. I hope someone can address this recurring issue because it causes a lot of stress.

During my visit to the Grayling, Michigan McDonald's drive-thru, I ordered a number 3 with no onions in a large size and a large Sprite. However, upon receiving my order at the food window, I was given a medium Sprite instead. When I asked for the correct size, the employee handed me a half-full large cup with stains on the lid. I chose to enter the store and address the issue with the manager. Despite encountering unprofessional behavior from the same employee, the manager apologized and explained that the staff member was new. The incident occurred at 8:35 on 5/3/23. - J.S.

I've experienced being overlooked at the drive-thru nine times now. Recently, despite arriving before others, I watched three cars get served ahead of me. This instance, unfortunately, is not an isolated one. The frustration peaked when I was asked to wait three times by a worker, all the while witnessing cars in the second drive-thru lane place orders and swiftly move through. After enduring a wait of over 10 minutes, I left and sought timely service at Burger King just down the street, receiving my order within an astounding 5 minutes. The stark difference in service promptness is glaring, making me reconsider future visits to your establishment.

I've noticed on multiple occasions that after arriving before other cars, I still had to wait longer than them to be served. This happened to me not just once, but about nine times now. Despite being told to wait three times in the drive-thru lane, I saw other cars in the second lane placing orders and moving ahead. After waiting for over 10 minutes, I decided to leave and went to Burger King down the street. Surprisingly, I received my order in less than 5 minutes there. I am disappointed with the service at this location and will not be visiting any of your establishments in the future.

I placed an order from the Spencer, Indiana McDonald's, which got sent to the Ellettsville Bloomington location by mistake. I tried to cancel the order, but they hung up on me and couldn't help me. The Spencer location informed me to go back to Bloomington, which is 10 miles away, but I'm only 3 miles from my home and don't want to travel all the way back. When I called, the Bloomington location claimed they didn't have my order. I have evidence with screenshots of my order confirmation email and the McDonald's app showing the mobile order number for Bloomington. I hope this reaches McDonald’s. My father, who is 80, relies on Uber Eats due to his inability to leave the house. Unfortunately, McDonald’s has continuously failed to get his order right, about six or seven times. This has left my father frustrated, as anyone would be if they ordered steak and received a hamburger. It's disheartening when a loved one, like a parent, orders and doesn’t receive what they requested, essentially getting nothing. In my father’s case, he ended up with items he didn’t order, like big Macs instead of a cheeseburger, due to McDonald’s not being able to fulfill orders accurately. This is concerning, especially since my father is 85 years old.

On May 7, [redacted], I placed an order at this location and experienced poor customer service. The cashier was silent for a few minutes, ignoring my multiple attempts to get their attention. The fries were cold and the burgers lacked warmth. I called the store multiple times without anyone answering the phone. It seems like there is a lack of supervision among the high school students working there. The food tasted like it had been prepared well before my order. I went through the drive-thru and ordered two McChickens with special requests, a McDouble, and another McChicken as is, along with a $1.29 any size fries deal from my app. Despite placing the order at 7:23 pm, I had to wait until 7:41 pm outside the pickup window. The staff member simply said, "sorry bout that," and when I later discovered the regular McChicken was missing, I tried calling the store several times but received no answer.

I went through the drive-thru, placed my order, but when I got home, my cheeseburgers were missing. I ordered a 20-piece nuggets, a number 7 with two cheeseburgers, fries, and coke. When I called to explain the missing items, they suggested I come back tomorrow or drive back to retrieve them. I insisted on getting my food tonight since I wanted to eat it right away. They hesitantly agreed to give me the cheeseburgers, but that's all they offered. I found it disappointing that they only provided two sauces for a 20-piece nugget order and charged extra for additional ones. It has been a long day, and I felt it was unfair, so I decided to share my experience here.

Yesterday morning, I visited the drive-thru and had an unpleasant experience with the service. The employee who assisted me seemed very impolite. She impatiently waited for me to find my change, then abruptly closed the window before returning to request the payment amount again. Additionally, she informed me that the fries would take 4 minutes, but they were ready sooner, yet she delayed giving them to me. When handing me the smoothie, she seemed exasperated. As I tried to wish her a good day, she rudely closed the window before I could finish speaking. Overall, her attitude came across as disinterested in her job and solely focused on receiving a paycheck.

My sister and I visited McDonald’s on [redacted] Logan Ave. in Waterloo, Iowa. We placed an order for $42.59 but there was confusion at the drive-thru window. The staff mixed up our order, causing us to wait for a long time. When we finally got our food, it was cold and not up to standard. We also faced a lack of professionalism from the employees, including one incident where an employee was rude to another customer. I asked for the owner's contact information but was met with more unhelpfulness. My sister and I were very disappointed with the whole experience and we've decided not to return to that McDonald’s location. I would like to bring to your attention the behavior of the employees at the McDonald’s located in Torrance at [redacted] Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA [redacted], United States. When I asked to speak to a manager to file a complaint, the staff members lied and claimed to be the manager. The girls working the night shift were particularly rude. To my shock, when I called to voice my concerns, one of the female employees started yelling and even used disrespectful language towards me. It is concerning to see such unprofessional behavior from the staff, and I strongly suggest a thorough evaluation of their conduct as they may not be suitable for their roles at this establishment.

The kiosk system at the Barstow McDonald's crashed right after my credit card payment went through for my purchase. An employee mentioned that they were unable to take any orders, including at the registers. Customers who had already ordered through the kiosk were informed that their payments would be refunded if they had already been processed. This incident occurred on May 12th around 8:12am. I have yet to receive a refund for the item I paid for but did not receive. When can I expect to see the refund processed for the non-delivery of the item I paid for?

Today, I noticed I didn't receive [redacted] points. I have requested to add them. Also, I have another receipt missing [redacted] points from May 11th. The website only allows me to request missing points once every 30 days, which seems unfair considering potential mistakes made by McDonald's. I kindly request the [redacted] missing points from May 11th to be credited to my account. There are several other dates where points seem to be missing this month as I visit McDonald's regularly. The behavior displayed by the two women working at the counter was unacceptable. They were disrespectful to the customer ahead of me, and their behavior worsened when I was there. Even as I tried to leave and apologize for the situation, their rudeness continued. When I called to request the district manager's contact information, they provided minimal details and seemed dismissive. It appears one of them might be a store manager, as she made a particularly inappropriate comment. I believe everything was captured on camera. I am seeking resolution for this mistreatment as it was a highly embarrassing and disrespectful encounter in a restaurant setting.

I visit the McDonald's on Washington Road in Evans County for lunch every day. Recently, both I and other customers have been experiencing long 45-minute waits to receive our orders. The tea tastes spoiled, the food arrives cold, and the staff members exhibit poor attitudes towards everyone. There seems to be a lack of respect for customers, and the drink machine is frequently out of order. I urge the management to take immediate action and investigate this matter. I am extremely frustrated with the level of rudeness. It may be beneficial to consider temporarily closing the store and hiring a new team of workers. The current situation is disheartening, and I hope that steps will be taken to address these ongoing issues.

I ordered a large McChicken meal with a large strawberry milkshake, but once again, the order was incorrect. I specifically mentioned no spicy mayo, but the meal had extra bacon and cheese, along with an excessive amount of mayo. This has been a recurring issue for most orders in the past few months, with missing items or items added incorrectly. I am frustrated with consistently receiving incorrect orders after paying for them. I have photos of the food and receipts to prove these errors.
