I am experiencing ongoing issues with my Maytag washer. This is my third transmission replacement, and I am now waiting on the fourth, which may take up to 12 weeks due to Covid. The noise is so loud that I am now using a laundromat as the washer is not spinning properly, leaving clothes wet. I am frustrated and considering involving the BBB and my attorney to seek a resolution or a new washer, as this one is only 7 months old. The inconvenience of using a laundromat multiple times a week is becoming overwhelming. I believe the customer service response has not been satisfactory. Replacing the washer entirely seems necessary, as continuously replacing the transmission is not solving the recurring issue.

We had a repair service appointment scheduled with G&G Appliance Service for today, 2/17/[redacted], between 8 am and 4 pm, but no one showed up or notified us of any changes. After contacting G&G, we were informed of a rescheduled appointment for this Friday, 2/19/21, without any prior notification regarding a required part. We are feeling confused and frustrated about the situation and uncertain about the upcoming appointment. Last week, a G&G Appliances repairman mentioned a potential issue with our washer, leading us to contact Whirlpool service for clarification on the missed appointment and the part order. We are currently facing delays and inconveniences, as we were asked to prepare for a repair that didn't happen today. We seek clarity and prompt resolution for the repair of our washer. The account is under Kenneth Anthony at [redacted] Case St., Syracuse, NY [redacted]. We are eager for answers and a swift resolution to fix our washer.

I contacted customer service for a repair, but the technician who came mentioned they didn't schedule an extension. So, the technician didn't assess the issue, and now they want me to pay for another visit. The washer is just three months old, and a part was replaced a year after purchase, only to realize now the same part is broken. The repair cost matches what I paid for the washer originally. It's frustrating to pay so much for a washing machine that's only two years old and already needs a costly repair. I find it disappointing that the same part has failed again. The repair expenses are almost six hundred dollars for a two-year-old washer. I'm disappointed with this experience and won't be considering Maytag or Whirlpool for future purchases.

We recently moved to Delaware, and the contractor purchased appliances for our house. We only used the washing machine for 2 years, and our extended coverage expired on March 1st of this year. The machine stopped working on March 5th. The service repair company, Kelly Appliance Service, estimated the repairs to cost over $[redacted]. I paid $90 for them to inspect it, and I am waiting to see if you received my check for another year of extension. My bank informed me the check I sent has not been processed yet. I am disappointed as your product claims it rarely breaks down. I chatted with a representative online, and their response was to contact the repair service. I had to buy a new washer not from your company to do laundry. Now, I will have to pay for the removal of your machine. Not a happy customer.

I bought a Maytag washer in December [redacted] from Home Depot in Athens, GA. The model number is MVWB765FW3 and the serial number is C[redacted]2. I'm already experiencing a bearing issue. A technician assessed the problem, attributing it to the soap damaging the seal around the bearing due to the design. Consequently, the bearing is rusting and causing a loud noise during operation. I strictly followed the recommended soap usage. Although Home Depot's warranty is only for a year, the product's premature breakdown is disappointing. It reflects poorly on Maytag's reputation for quality despite the higher price point. The suggestion of purchasing an extended warranty for such a new appliance is unreasonable. I expected better durability from a reputed brand like Maytag.

I bought a new Maytag washer in December [redacted] from Home Depot in Athens, GA. The model is MVWB765FW3, and the serial number is C[redacted]2. Unfortunately, I am already experiencing a bearing issue despite following the soap usage instructions. A service technician confirmed that the drum bearing is damaged due to the soap affecting the seal, causing it to rust and become loud. This situation is frustrating given the high cost of the washer and only having a one-year warranty from Home Depot. I feel this is a product defect due to poor design. It's disappointing as Maytag is known for quality, not issues after only a year of use with proper soap levels. What can be done to address this?

I bought a new Maytag washer in December **** from Home Depot in Athens, GA. The model number is MVWB***FW* and the serial number is C********. Unfortunately, I am already experiencing a bearing problem. After having a service technician assess the issue, I was informed that the drum bearing has deteriorated due to the soap used and the design of the machine. It seems that the soap has damaged the seal around the bearing, leading to rust and causing a very loud noise during operation. Despite following the recommended soap usage per cycle, this problem has arisen. While Home Depot only offers a *-year warranty, as the manufacturer, Maytag should address this product defect. The early onset of this issue is disappointing for a brand known for quality. A higher price tag should not equate to poor design and premature malfunction.

My Maytag dishwasher has a mysterious leak. It occurs randomly and has caused damage to my ceiling twice. Despite having a plumber visit twice, the leak never happened when they were here. Even after the repair person you sent inspected it, the leak didn't occur during their visit. However, they could see the evident damage to the floor, cabinets, and ceiling caused by the leaks.

We purchased a washer/dryer in September [redacted] but it was only delivered in January [redacted] when we moved. The dryer works well, but the washing machine, model MVW6230 - order #[redacted]42, has been problematic. It frequently goes out of balance and requires multiple attempts to rearrange the load for it to spin properly.
In February, we had a Maytag technician inspect it, and he mentioned that the issue might be due to not loading enough laundry. He recommended washing clothes only every 2-3 weeks, which seems impractical for our household. This constant hassle with a high-priced appliance is frustrating, as I have never faced this with any other washing machine.
Thank you,
M. Masser

Hello, I recently purchased a Maytag dishwasher with Type Number [redacted]-1, Model Number MDB49495DMO, and Serial Number F[redacted]4 in March 18, [redacted]. It has been functioning well and doing an excellent job of cleaning our dishes until last week when it suddenly stopped mid-cycle. Upon inspection, we discovered that the control panel and wiring harness had burned up, posing a significant safety risk. We are concerned about the situation and seek assistance in resolving it. We are in need of a replacement unit due to this malfunction and would appreciate if it could be provided at no cost. We hope to hear from you promptly to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - K. Marchinski

I have a Maytag Washer that is less than 3 months old, and unfortunately, it is not working. Last week, on Wednesday, August 3, [redacted], I contacted the Repair Service. They have all my warranty information on file, and a representative mentioned that someone would reach out within 2 to 3 days to schedule a service appointment.
Due to my husband's failing health, I need to do laundry daily, sometimes even multiple times a day depending on the situation. I've been spending extra money at the laundromat and paying a neighbor to help with my husband while I do laundry. It's becoming quite inconvenient and costly for me.
The washer was delivered on May 2, [redacted], and it stopped working on July 25th. I thought I was purchasing a reliable product by choosing Maytag, but now I find myself without a functional washer when I need it the most.

I purchased a top load washer, model number #MVWC465HW3, on 1/27/21. Unfortunately, after only 4 months, it stopped agitating and draining/spinning. I had a warranty repairman look at it, but it broke down again the next day. A private repairman came on 8/10 and estimated $[redacted] for the repair. I scheduled another warranty repairman for 8/23, which has been a 3-week wait between appointments. I've been spending my summer at the Laundromat due to this ongoing issue. I believe this washer might be a lemon, and I am hoping to have it replaced.

I bought a new Maytag washer and dryer from Home Depot less than two years ago. The washer stopped working, and after contacting Maytag, a technician came, needed to order a part, and never returned. Despite multiple calls and messages, there was no response. I contacted Maytag again, and a different company ordered a part, returned to replace it, but two weeks later, it broke again. I am appalled that this new appliance lasted less than two years. I want to discuss this matter with Maytag as I shouldn't have to pay for repairs on a product that was faulty from the start.

Around 3-4 years ago, I bought a washing machine. After just six months, it stopped filling with water at all, regardless of the water level settings. I called a repair service, and they replaced a part under warranty at no cost. However, the issue recurred every 6 months, and each time, it cost me $[redacted] for a quick 15-minute fix. To save money, I started manually adding water to the machine. I'm now wondering if there is a Lemon Law that applies to washing machines. The model number is MVWB765FW1, and the serial number is c[redacted]8. Unfortunately, my landline has changed, so I can't access automated assistance.

I've been on hold for nearly an hour waiting for customer service. I purchased a Maytag washer & dryer in January [redacted], with delivery on 1/21/21 and registered them online. When the washer didn't work, I exchanged it for an upgraded model delivered on 1/28/21. Although I received an invitation for an extended warranty, it was for the wrong washer. When I tried to correct this by calling and providing the new washer's details, I faced long hold times and incorrect invitations. I wanted to avail the extended warranty with a 30% discount, but I'm now being told it's no longer an option. It seems Whirlpool/Maytag's long hold times may discourage customers from seeking support. I plan to escalate this issue by reaching out to the CEO, President, and Vice President via email.

I recently bought a new Maytag washer model mvw6230hw2 on 7/31/[redacted] from Home Depot. Unfortunately, this washer isn't cleaning my clothes properly because the agitator isn't functioning. I reached out to Maytag for repair, but the person I spoke to was unhelpful, stating this isn't a real agitator and wasn't sympathetic to my concerns. I've never encountered such issues with any other washer and find it frustrating given the high cost of nearly $[redacted]. I feel like I've been sold a lemon and need a replacement urgently. Maytag's reputation as a top brand is disappointing based on my experience, as I feel stuck with a faulty product. I urge the company to address this situation promptly and provide me with a working washer.

I recently purchased a Maytag washer model number MVWB765FW3 from Lowe’s. It is my second time buying a new washer and I really liked it. However, after less than 2 years, I am having issues with it. When I try to start a load or change any settings, it just beeps without displaying an error code. I saw a video suggesting that steam could be getting into the washer, so I purchased silicone conforming liquid to seal part of the control board that's exposed. After letting it dry overnight, I was able to do 3 loads of laundry, but now the problem has returned. I have noticed many others experiencing the same issue online. I believe Maytag should recall this washer and take care of the problem. I should not have to cover the expenses for an issue that seems to be a common one with their product. Considering the reputation and price of their products, they should stand by their consumers. It seems like the Maytag man, who is known for not working much, is certainly busy now.

On October 25, [redacted], I bought a Maytag Dishwasher from Lowes in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Despite the excellent customer service I received from their CSR, my overall experience turned into a nightmare. As I tried to avail the veterans discount differently than their usual process, the cashier became insulting. Additionally, she had issues with the check I presented for payment, despite providing multiple photo IDs and a checkbook from another account. I was informed it would take five to seven days for delivery, but it has been eight days now and I have yet to receive my new dishwasher. After contacting Lowes, they admitted to having three of the same dishwashers in stock that I purchased, but claimed they were already allocated to other customers. When I inquired if those buyers had made their purchases before my transaction, the CSR evaded the question. I was instructed to contact CRST Home Installation at [redacted], but I have been on hold with them for over an hour. The disrespectful treatment and poor service I have encountered throughout this process, including the incident with a supervisor, has led me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, requesting a refund of $[redacted].53.

My Maytag washer with commercial technology is not performing well. I am only able to wash 5 shirts at a time, and sometimes they don't even get wet. This has increased my water usage and costs as I have to wash things twice and remove clothes to ensure they get clean. I used to be able to wash a week's worth of work shirts in one load, but now the cycles are long and inefficient. I am dissatisfied with this product and would appreciate a solution, possibly a traditional agitating washer. Any tips on enhancing its performance would be welcome. Thank you. Mary V.

I am facing an issue with both of my commercial washing machines. They do not add enough water to wash a load of clothes effectively. Even with the machines running, the clothes still come out dry on top. Unfortunately, I have been through this problem before with an older washer, and recently my children surprised me with two new washers that have the same issue. I have attempted various methods such as interrupting the cycle to add more water or manually adding water on top of the laundry, but nothing seems to work. I chose Maytag due to its past reputation, but my recent experience has been disappointing. Is there a way for a technician to adjust the water level to ensure a proper wash for full or heavy loads?
