Hello, I recently purchased a Betsey Johnson bedding set, but it arrived with a mark on it. I contacted customer service to initiate a return about a month ago. After speaking with a man and a woman on separate occasions, both assured me that a return label would be sent promptly. However, after waiting for almost three weeks each time, I never received anything. Despite being told multiple times that the label was on its way, it never arrived. Frustrated by the lack of follow-through, I ended up returning the bedding to Macy's, even though I was initially informed that I couldn't do so. This experience has left me disappointed with Macy's customer service.

I recently applied for a Macy’s store credit card to benefit from the $[redacted].00 savings offer. However, due to my frozen credit, there were difficulties during the application process. Despite attempts to unfreeze my credit online, there was a delay in the process which led to my application being denied twice at the store. After contacting the credit line and speaking with a representative, I was advised to reapply, but the denial persisted. Even after speaking with a manager, an override was not possible. Eventually, I was able to resolve the issue with a credit specialist on Monday, leading to the approval of my application. It was a frustrating experience, especially since it seems like the initial denial could have been avoided with better communication between Macy’s and the bank regarding credit policies.

I recently placed order number [redacted] and noticed that the Black Slingback shoes in size 7M did not reflect the Black Friday or Cyber Monday discount, showing the full price of $59.99 instead. On November 5th, I placed a significant order that was divided into 4 shipments. So far, I have only received 2 of the shipments. When I contacted customer service recently, I was informed that they would cancel the order and resend the missing items. One shipment was credited back to me, but the fourth one has not been refunded. Unfortunately, I no longer require the items as they were intended for my mother's birthday yesterday. I am seeking a refund for the undelivered shipment to avoid a credit balance on my card. It is disappointing that despite ordering the gifts 25 days ahead of time, they did not arrive as expected.

I have two Macy’s credit cards, one regular Macy’s card and the Macy’s American Express. Since receiving the American Express card, I've encountered issues using it. Merchants struggle to process the card, sometimes resorting to manual entry of information. While it worked a few times and accrued transactions, it has recently stopped working completely. Customer service, located in the Philippines, has provided numerous excuses. I would appreciate honesty regarding the underlying problem. With a credit line of $5K, it's frustrating to be unable to use the card during the holidays.

I bought two sequin dress coats by DKNY over the phone at Tysons Corner in McLean, VA, on November 21/22. The purchase was charged to my Macy's credit account. Since then, I haven't received a tracking number, and the store can't provide any updates on the order. I've been trying to reach the fulfillment department at the store, but no one picks up, and other extensions are unresponsive. When I call [redacted], I get transferred to foreign agents without any resolution. Trying to connect with customer service in the US only leads to being routed overseas, causing frustration.

I faced multiple challenges with Customer Service after my order auto-canceled. There were language barriers with the first representative, and I was disconnected. After speaking with Alex, the supervisor, for two hours, I received a coupon code, ZKCQ2W42R3A, for 25% off my next purchase. Order number: [redacted]. I was then informed that three items might be back online, so I placed an order using the coupon. Unfortunately, I couldn't apply the coupon and had to spend another 2 hours discussing it with Mr. Moi. Ruby, the manager, provided a $20 credit instead of honoring the coupon. I had to physically go to the store to pick up two items but found one missing and another item swapped incorrectly. This experience has been very frustrating, disappointing, and disrespectful. I no longer want the missing items and request a $20 credit to my account.

I purchased a shirt at Macy's in Queens on 11/23/22 during a pre-sale. I paid for it with the expectation it would be delivered to my home by 11/29/22. Despite providing my phone number, address, and email, I have yet to receive the item as of 12/6/22.
After calling Macy's customer service twice, two representatives were unable to locate my purchase records or contact the department store where I made the purchase. They assured me they would follow up with the store and call me back, but I have not received any updates.
I have the receipt in my possession. What should my next steps be?

I placed an order for a crock pot on 11/16, and while the website says it's on the way, it hasn't actually been shipped yet. My order number is [redacted]. I've tried reaching out multiple times for an update with no response. Additionally, I ordered two ceramic-coated pans, but one that arrived was stainless steel. I've raised this issue before and received no reply. It's frustrating when customer service is lacking. I prefer to support businesses, but this experience has been very disappointing. I even left a negative review in hopes of getting some assistance. This is not something I typically do.

I bought two pairs of earrings on sale, but only received one, and a package with a men's sport coat Ralph Lauren 42L light blue was missing originally. I received the replacement earrings, but the coat is still missing. The total on my PayPal account reflects around $79, but the earrings should only amount to $40 after the discount. The size measurements for tops from this designer are consistently inaccurate. I consistently pay an additional $10.00 for orders due to my location in Hawaii. This problem has occurred for the third time now. I am uncertain if there is any stock remaining of these tops, which I truly desire. Furthermore, any "exchange" would necessitate an additional payment and incur another surcharge, resulting in further expenses to reorder these tops. This business practice is unacceptable. I am eager to speak with a customer service representative directly.

I received a call-back number and code to verify my information. Upon providing the details, I was instructed to call another number for further verification. Despite having a good credit history and a previous Macy's credit card, additional verification was requested due to potential identity theft issues. The representative mentioned that without a cell number on the application, verification couldn't proceed. I informed him that I had provided my home telephone number. Frustrated by the process, I declined the offer, expressing my dissatisfaction with the lack of alternative verification methods. I am disappointed by the customer service experience and find it concerning that a cell phone number seems to be the sole verification method. This experience has led me to reconsider doing business with Macy's and I will be sharing my experience on social media.

On November 10, [redacted], I placed an order for a PJ set with order number [redacted]4. The order was delivered on November 15, [redacted]. However, upon reviewing my statement, I noticed that I was charged $33.30 for an item that was listed as $69.00 with a last act discount of 85%, making it a final sale price of $9.93. I contacted Macy's Online regarding this overcharge, but they refused to credit my account, claiming it was my error for not noticing sooner. I requested to speak to a supervisor, but they were unable to make any adjustments due to me being a day late. This lack of customer service is disappointing, especially considering I have been a loyal Macy's customer since [redacted]. I attempted to return two brand new pairs of shoes that did not fit, even though it was over 90 days past the purchase date. I drove over one and a half hours to the closest store with the receipt. Unfortunately, the manager was unhelpful and rude, refusing to provide an exchange or store credit. Despite paying $80 for the shoes, he only offered $30 for them and suggested I shop at Dilliards instead. Disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of flexibility, I ended up purchasing items at Dilliards that I had initially planned to buy at Macy's, including Clinique products and clothing for family members. It's disheartening to feel like Macy's is losing customers due to management attitudes.

On 12/21/22, I ordered from Macy's with the expectation of receiving it by Christmas. This was my first time using Macy's for delivery, and unfortunately, it seems like it will be my last. The website assured me that the delivery would be on 12/24/22. I am disappointed that the order did not arrive on time, causing me to be short of a gift. Had I known Macy's would not meet the delivery date they set, I would have chosen a different retailer.
