I purchased a flight with Lufthansa from Valencia to Johannesburg on December 19th for a friend, costing € . Sadly, they can no longer make the trip due to unforeseen circumstances. I reached out to Lufthansa customer service to inquire about transferring the flights to my name so that I could use them later, but they informed me that this was not an option. They mentioned that I was eligible for a compensation of only €93. I was hoping for some suggestions on what could potentially be done in this situation.

I recently purchased a flight from Valencia to Johannesburg with Lufthansa on December 19th. Regrettably, I am unable to travel anymore. I require a Common Carrier of Delay statement or an official letter explaining the cancellation of our flight from Venice to Munich, flight number EN8201 at 10:00 am on July 20, [redacted]. Luftansa notified us via email on July 13 about the cancellation but did not provide alternate arrangements. Consequently, my husband and I, Bruce and Mary Crabtree, had to rent a car to reach Munich for our next flight to San Diego on July 7, [redacted]. Our original booking number was L5BMN5. I need this documentation to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement of the car rental expenses. Thank you.

My mother, Z. K., was on flight AC9437 from Belgrade to Frankfurt today, December 15th. Due to a delay, she missed her connecting flight to Toronto. Air Canada typically waits for passengers from Belgrade, but not this time! I have no updates on my 77-year-old mother who doesn't have a cell phone and speaks little English. A customer service representative confirmed that adding middle names is unnecessary. Our journey begins in Denver, Colorado, and ends in Israel. We experienced a cancellation on our domestic flight which has caused inconvenience as we were rebooked for the next day. The original trip from Stuttgart to Frankfurt could have been simple by train, and we are puzzled why this option was not given to us. We are unable to make changes to the flight on our own and have had difficulty reaching customer support to revert the flights to the initial plan. Flight is scheduled for 19.12 from Stuttgart to Bergen.

I lost my bag during a flight from PDX to DEN on UA [redacted] on December 16. Originally, I had connecting flights LH [redacted] (DEN - MUC) and LH [redacted] (MUC - TLV) scheduled, but due to a delay, I had to change to UA [redacted] (DEN - IAD) and UA 72 (IAD - TLV) on the same day. My bag was checked in at PDX with ticket number [redacted], and after DEN, there is no tracking information available. I filed a missing luggage claim at TLV airport with reference number TLV33067M. Despite reassurances from United agents that my bag would be on the next flight, it did not make it. I was informed that my bag might be on LH [redacted] from DEN to MUC and then transferred to LH [redacted] to TLV, but its arrival is uncertain due to delays. United no longer has tracking data since the bag is with Lufthansa now, so I can't make a new claim with them. Any assistance would be appreciated.

My flight on the 16th with Lufthansa was canceled. The rebooked connecting flight for the 17th via British Airlines and Emirates through Düsseldorf was not arranged, leaving me unable to check in. After waiting at the Lufthansa rebooking desk for 10 hours, I was not able to secure any alternative arrangements. Now, 48 hours later, I am still stranded and unable to reach Dubai. I would like to cancel this trip and request a refund in order to make my own flight arrangements. Thank you.

I am extremely frustrated! My family and I have traveled a long distance from North Carolina, USA, to Mumbai, India, with connections in Munich. Unfortunately, we experienced flight delays, missed connections, and were unable to reach anyone from your team for assistance. After getting stranded in New Delhi, we tried calling all the numbers listed on the website and even searched for a representative at the airport with no luck. To make matters worse, we are now missing 7 checked bags totaling nearly [redacted] pounds, and we have not been able to reach anyone via phone or email. We had to purchase new flights at our own expense. We are eager for a prompt response regarding our flights and most importantly, our missing luggage. Hello, I traveled to Zurich on a Saturday evening and accidentally left my phone on the flight. I didn't realize it was missing until later at my hotel. The next morning, I went to Lost and Found at 6 am, but they told me to come back at 10 am. Unfortunately, my next flight was leaving at 10 am. They advised me to file a claim online with Lufthansa. The flight where I lost my phone was LH [redacted] from Munich to Zurich. The phone I am missing is an iPhone 12 Pro Max in blue with a black and transparent case. I am experiencing an issue with lost baggage. On Wednesday the 14th, I traveled from Seattle to Naples with layovers in Denver and Frankfurt. Despite information online indicating my bag was in Denver and Frankfurt, it did not make it onto my final flight to Naples, and I did not receive it. I contacted the airline and filed a claim at the airport in Naples, where I was informed my bag would arrive the following day, but it never did during my entire stay. I remain uncertain about the whereabouts of my missing baggage.

I bought seat selection for my daughter and son-in-law back in August. Unfortunately, the seats didn't register in Lufthansa's system when they flew, and they had to pay for new seats. Despite my attempts to reach out via email and phone calls, I have yet to hear back from Lufthansa regarding a refund, despite providing evidence of the initial purchase on my credit card statement. It's now December, and the issue remains unresolved.

I am experiencing an issue with missing baggage from my recent trip from Frankfurt to Toronto. Out of the six bags I checked, I have only received one in Toronto (YYZ airport). Below are the luggage tag numbers for the missing bags: LH [redacted], LH [redacted], LH [redacted], LH [redacted], LH [redacted]. My flight numbers were LH [redacted] from Frankfurt to London, and then BA093 from London to Toronto YYZ. I have been tracking my luggage, and it still shows that my bags are in Frankfurt. I urgently need my baggage as I have a family function and do not have any clothes or essentials with me. Please assist me promptly in locating my missing baggage. Thank you.

During my trip from Denver to Wroclaw via Munich on December 15, my two bags went missing. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of information provided regarding my baggage (booking code VL7C3S). The service I received at Munich airport was the worst I have experienced in my 50 years of flying. I am eager to know the status of my bags and seek reimbursement for the impact this has had on ruining my vacation and my family's Christmas as we are missing presents. I bought seat selection for my daughter and son-in-law back in August. I have proof on my credit card statement that the seats were indeed purchased. Despite reaching out to Lufthansa multiple times via email and phone, all I was told was to contact customer service. It's now December, and I have yet to receive any response or a refund.

I traveled from Madrid to Ljubjana via Munich last Wednesday. Due to bad weather, my bag went missing during the airport closure. I live in Amsterdam and returned home on Thursday without my bag. I recently received a message informing me that my bag has been found and it's awaiting delivery at the airport. I flew from Oslo to Boston via Munich on December 15. Upon my arrival in Boston, my checked luggage was missing. I have submitted the details into Lufthansa's baggage tracking system. I experienced a very challenging flight that started with a 2-hour delay. Once onboard, we were informed that the bathrooms on the right side were out of order, causing inconvenience during the 15-hour journey. To make matters worse, we missed our connecting flight due to the delay and faced a significant setback when our overloaded plane had to offload luggage, leaving most passengers without their belongings at Berlin's new airport.
