Customer Service Assistance Needed I recently booked two tickets for a flight from Chicago to Paris for my daughter and me. Unfortunately, there was a spelling error on one of the tickets. Despite notifying the airline within an hour of booking, there was initial reluctance to correct the mistake. After multiple unsuccessful calls to Lufthansa Customer Care, resulting in a $1,[redacted] fee to correct the name, I spoke with a Supervisor who provided no resolution and even cancelled my daughter's flight. I have disputed the charge with AMEX and am awaiting a full refund for the cancelled flight. I also request the cancellation and full credit for Mrs. Dy's flight. The booking was made through AMEX with Delta. The Lufthansa booking reference is KxxPD# from August 25th. I will be filing a complaint with the Aviation Consumer Protection Division in Washington, DC. Sincerely, Peter Y. [redacted] East Station Street Barrington, IL [redacted]

Dear Sir, My name is Thomas F. Wolf. I am scheduled to fly from Boston to Frankfurt on September 18, [redacted], at 17:00. My Booking Code is MBHMPL and my ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. I made this booking through Touring for Less several months ago. After undergoing right hip replacement surgery on June 12, [redacted], I still have swelling in my right leg. To ensure my comfort during the flight, I kindly request a wider seat than the standard economy seats, which I have been informed are snug. I hope you can accommodate this request to avoid discomfort. Additionally, I have asked for wheelchair assistance at Frankfurt Airport and would appreciate confirmation that this service has been arranged. Thank you for your attention and assistance in addressing my concerns. Kind regards, Tom Wolf

I recently traveled from Saudi Arabia and experienced a flight delay, leading me to stay in Kuwait for two days. Due to missing my Lufthansa flight, I had my ticket reissued by the staff at the airport. During this process, I had my bag tags exchanged but realized one tag was missing as I checked my luggage for myself, my wife, and my sister, along with 3 Zamzam water. Despite informing the staff about the missing tag, I was told to proceed as I was running late for my flight. Now, I am without the tag number but my bag contains my contact information along with a description of its appearance and contents. If found, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I submitted a complaint on August 31st and received the FB ID #[redacted]3. Here are the details: On August 29th, I was at San Jose airport with my family for Lufthansa flight #LH0489 to Frankfurt, which was delayed due to system errors. During baggage check-in, we were told to check in our cabin baggage for free and were informed we could collect it at Chennai Airport. We had a total of 9 bags checked in. Due to the delay in San Jose, we missed our connecting flight. Lufthansa then booked us on an Air India flight from Frankfurt to Chennai. At Frankfurt, Air India informed us we were only allowed 6 bags and asked us to pay [redacted] euros for the extra bags, which we did as we needed to reach India. I request a refund of the [redacted] euros as we were not at fault for the situation. I have attached all relevant documents for your review. I appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you.

Dear Customer Service, I am writing to request compensation for the issues I encountered during my travels in August. I flew from Jönköping, Sweden, to Frankfurt on August 8th with BMI BM1912, then had a connecting flight to Geneva that was canceled. After being rerouted through Munich, my luggage did not make it to Geneva until late at night, causing me to incur extra costs for transportation. On my return flight from Geneva to Frankfurt on August 10th, there were further delays, resulting in a missed connection to Sweden. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Best regards, R. Dove

Hello, My name is Jonatan Alon, and I was a passenger on Lufthansa flight AC9099 from Munich to Montreal on July 27, [redacted]. My booking number is OBF8KE. Upon arriving in Munich from Toulouse earlier that day, I discovered that my flight to Montreal was cancelled. Unfortunately, no Lufthansa assistance personnel offered help while I was stuck in the hot terminal. I had to stay overnight in Munich at my own expense and then take a train to Frankfurt to catch another flight the next day. This caused me to miss two important family events. I hope that as a loyal Lufthansa customer, I can receive reasonable compensation for the troubles I faced. Best regards, Jonatan Alon

Hello, I encountered an issue with a flight I booked with you for departure on the 24th of August and return on the 9th of September. Due to a very confusing message on my phone, I missed my outbound flight as it misled me on the time, causing me to arrive at the airport late. I was informed that I would miss the entire trip - both the outbound and return flights. This was a shocking experience for me, as I have never had such a negative experience before, losing all the money due to the unclear messages I received. I have never missed a flight before, but it happened this time only with your airline, which seemed good and affordable but turned out to be the opposite. I received no assistance or guidance to find a solution. They only suggested I look for other flights with different airlines, essentially requiring me to pay for the trip all over again. I am requesting a refund for my flight because the messages I received were not clear, they were all sent together along with the tickets for the connecting flight I was supposed to take later, making it very confusing and resulting in financial loss. Both me and my sister contributed money for the tickets, so I am requesting a refund for both of us to reconsider using your airline. Thank you, hopefully someone here can assist me. Have a good day. This is the message I would like to send [redacted] for the refund of two passengers on Lufthansa.

Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing regarding an incident involving my son's recent flight with Lufthansa, LH925 from London to Frankfurt/Main on August 18th at 8:30 am. Unfortunately, he misread the departure time and missed his flight. He then took another flight later that day but encountered issues with retrieving his sports equipment due to a supposed conveyor belt problem. He filled out a form upon his return on August 27th as the internet connection was poor where he was staying. After multiple tracked emails from Lost & Found Services (Feedback ID [redacted]7 and Feedback ID [redacted]2), the sports bag was returned to him on the 23rd, albeit with a broken wheel and damaged corner. Despite his efforts to report the damages on August 27th and September 3rd, there has been no response or acknowledgment from Lufthansa regarding the issue. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter promptly.

Since arriving in Hamburg on a Lufthansa flight with a transit in Munich on August 1st, my baggage has gone missing. Despite submitting all necessary claims and providing detailed information about the bag's contents to the baggage tracing center, I have not received any response. I have also submitted receipts for the clothing and items I had to purchase due to the lost bag, but have not been informed about the refund process. This lack of communication and assistance is concerning. I urgently require my bag, as it contains essential medication. It is crucial that I am fully reimbursed for the expenses incurred as a result of this situation. My stay in Hamburg is limited until the end of September, so I am eager for a prompt resolution to this matter.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my mother, Mrs. T. received regarding her plane ticket. On 23rd August [redacted], she missed her flight from London to Split due to unavoidable circumstances for my brother's wedding. Despite informing your team about the situation with booking reference RVSNCK, she was left on hold for over 30 minutes. Consequently, she had to purchase another ticket promptly to reach Split for £[redacted].88. Upon her return on 30th August [redacted], my mother was shocked to find out that her return ticket had been sold to another passenger. This caused immense distress as she had to buy another ticket for the next day and spend the night alone in the airport without accommodation. The lack of Lufthansa representatives at the airport worsened the experience, with no clear explanation or assistance provided. The compensation offered, £82 airport tax, for this unacceptable treatment is inadequate. Continuous difficulties in reaching Lufthansa's customer service worsened the situation. As a loyal customer, my mother was deeply disappointed by the service received this time and expects proper compensation, at least covering the cost of the additional ticket. I hope for a swift and urgent response to this matter to alleviate my mother's stress and find a suitable resolution.

Hello, I'm Savannah Cassidy. My booking reference number is NCVWS8. I would like to inquire about the possibility and associated fee to change my flight from Friday night to Thursday night. Alisha and I are currently in Nairobi with four others, but due to a mix-up, our group members are leaving on a different flight at 7 am, leaving us stranded with no driver or place to stay as we check out of our hotel at 10 am. To avoid this issue, we are hoping to switch to the latest flight on Thursday. We are unable to purchase new tickets and rely on the assistance of changing our booking, provided there are available seats on the Thursday night flight. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I made a reservation for 4 tickets to India on July 19th from Stansted airport to Chennai through Omega Flights, an agency working with Lufthansa. The airline reference numbers are VACACP & VDE3ZL. Upon check-in and getting our boarding passes, my wife, an Indian citizen, was denied boarding by Lufthansa officials, causing me to collapse at the airport. After being treated by paramedics until 8:15 pm, we eventually made it home by 11:30 pm after hiring a taxi at 10:15 pm. I had to book additional tickets costing £[redacted].93 for my family to meet their relatives as planned. I had to take out a loan of £[redacted] for this unexpected expense from the incident. Lufthansa did not specify the need for a Schengen visa for traveling to India through Germany, as no information was available on their website regarding this requirement. I was told a refund was processed on July 31st; however, no funds were credited, as confirmed by HSBC. Despite numerous attempts to contact Lufthansa Customer Relations in the UK, both by phone and email, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or solution regarding the refund. The lack of professionalism and accountability in handling my case is unacceptable. Please assist in resolving this issue promptly. I have attached evidence for your reference. Thank you. Best Regards, Mickle

Hello, I have a reservation for my parents with booking code NSNV72. The ticket numbers are [redacted][redacted] for Mr. A. Pankavets and [redacted][redacted] for Mrs. N. Pankavets. I recently received an email about a time change from Frankfurt, DE to Minsk, BY in the booking. The suggested option includes a long layover in Frankfurt, which is not ideal for my elderly parents. I am looking for alternative flights from Miami to Minsk on a different day with a similar duration as our current reservation. Hoping to find a solution without additional costs.

Hello! I have a reservation for my parents under the booking code NSNV72: - PANKAVETS / ALIAKSANDR MR Ticket no.: [redacted][redacted] - PANKAVETS / NATALLIA MRS Ticket no.: [redacted][redacted] I recently received an email notifying me about a time change for the flight from Frankfurt to Minsk. The proposed alternative by the airline doesn't work for us due to a long layover in Frankfurt, which is not ideal for my elderly parents. We are open to changing the flight from Miami to Minsk to a different day with similar timing to our original reservation. Hopefully, this change can be made without additional cost.

I recently traveled from Seattle to Frankfurt with Lufthansa on September 3 in business class on a flat bed [redacted]-[redacted]. Despite being a retired flight attendant with 15 years of experience on the [redacted], this was the worst flight I've experienced. The flat bed setup was impractical, requiring me to climb over a sleeping stranger to use the restroom, resulting in an uncomfortable journey. My return flight on seat 10C was no better as my seatmate, once again a stranger, had to crawl over me and I couldn't rest. Furthermore, he was unwell, and now I've caught his cold due to the lack of a barrier between us. This disappointing experience has led me to vow not to choose Lufthansa again for long-haul flights. I intend to opt for Delta, known for its individual pods that offer aisle access and privacy. I have informed my travel agent to avoid similar flights, especially with Lufthansa in the future.

Last Tuesday, I flew from Frankfurt to San Diego, and unfortunately, one of my suitcases went missing during the journey. Upon arrival, a San Diego airport staff member informed me about the situation and I received a confirmation letter regarding the incident. I promptly emailed the airport with a delivery address in San Diego for the suitcase. Initially, there was one reply from San Diego airport, but since then there has been no further communication. Despite my attempts to reach out via email and phone, there has been no response from the airport. Currently staying in Tijuana with my in-laws, crossing the border daily is not feasible. The frustrating aspect is that the suitcase holds items for my daughter's upcoming Sunday baptism. We are at a loss on how to proceed and would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance. On 28/6/[redacted], our flight to Stockholm at 4:50 a.m. with Lufthansa was canceled. This was due to a sudden health emergency involving my 93-year-old father undergoing life-saving surgery on the evening of the flight. The surgery, lasting until 3 a.m., left us unable to make the flight. We incurred additional costs of $80 each for new seats and $[redacted] twice for rebooked flights. The original flight numbers were LH691 and LH803, and the rebooked flights were LH687 and OS312. Our names are Yael Y. and Zion Y. We are requesting a refund for the canceled flight.

On Lufthansa Flight LH [redacted], my partner and I have been stuck on the aircraft for nearly 3 hours due to inclement weather. Despite understanding the circumstances, this experience with Lufthansa has been uncomfortable and disappointing. It feels like boarding the plane was premature, leaving us hungry without proper meal planning. We anticipated the onboard dinner, but have been left hungry with only a small packet of pretzels and water for hours. The expected 7.5-hour flight will now exceed 11 hours, exacerbating the situation. I kindly request a discounted airfare as a gesture to compensate for this ordeal. It would have been preferable for passengers to wait in the terminal while the situation was addressed, rather than enduring these conditions onboard. Your prompt resolution to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it is unjust to face such hardships after purchasing full-fare tickets.

I am Loveth Igbru, and my booking number is SASYZW. On the 27th of September, I arrived at the airport at 2:15. At the check-in counter, I was told laptops were not allowed on the flight. Eventually, after checking with a supervisor, they allowed the laptops but asked me to remove the batteries. Regrettably, due to these delays, I missed the flight, was labeled as a No Show by Lufthansa, and was denied boarding. I kindly request Lufthansa to rebook my flight and provide clarification on why I was not allowed to travel initially.
