In [redacted], due to missed steps on my original return, Louisiana reimbursed my siblings and me for taxes paid. The executor, my sister Pam Wallace, issued the refunds, and we then filed a revised [redacted] return with all necessary details. A CPA assisted us in this process, and we each mailed our returns separately. However, my revised [redacted] return payment to LDR has not been cashed as of the deadline today. I sent it in a designated LDR envelope for Collections. I am concerned about potential actions from LDR impacting my account, as I have essential expenses like rent, bills, and medical costs. I am willing to pay any additional amount if required, as I have maintained a good record with the IRS and LDR. Thank you.

I'm seeking clarification on why my check is being reduced. I'm puzzled by the $5,[redacted] deduction for the state as I believe I shouldn't owe anything, especially since I haven't received my state tax refund for the past 5 years. I feel like I'm being penalized when the state should be refunding me the owed money. Please provide an explanation as this financial burden might force me to consider leaving my job. It's challenging to manage when we're paid unequally. The state authorities need to improve this situation for all taxpayers. Thank you.
