I purchased a Mini Interior and Exterior Detail for my SUV from SWS Auto Detailing. I contacted them to schedule an appointment on Friday, August 7. Despite being promised a callback in 10 minutes, I never received one. I tried calling again on Monday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 12, but no one answered. I left messages both times but still did not receive any response. As a result, I am now requesting a refund for the service. My name is D. Van Meeteren, and you can reach me at [redacted] or on my cell at [redacted]. Thank you.

I had a massage appointment this morning at Cornerstone Holistic Institute, located at [redacted] Brooks St. Wake Forest, NC [redacted]. Before the massage, I mentioned to the employee that I needed to use the restroom. I was told that the restroom had been broken for a week. When I asked for an alternative, I was directed to a restroom at CVS drugstore a block and a half away. Feeling this was unacceptable, I requested to reschedule my appointment. The employee contacted his supervisor, Jeanie Roberts, about the situation. Despite my upset, I declined to speak with her and was given her contact number. When I called Ms. Roberts, she informed me that the restrooms were closed due to Covid-19 regulations from the State of North Carolina, though I couldn't find this mentioned on their website. Feeling misled, I compared the information with the NC Department of Health and Human Services guidelines, which did not mention restroom closures. I spoke to another spa that confirmed there were no such restrictions on spa restrooms. I am seeking a full refund for my massage to avoid sharing this negative experience on social media and taking my business elsewhere.

Hello, I am writing to request a refund of $59 to my Wells Fargo credit card due to the unavailability of the items I purchased from your website. The shop, Golden Health, has closed down, and I am requesting this refund for two orders I placed on Sep 2. The voucher numbers are as follows: 1. VS-FTZX-M4PP-59JS-SBF3 2. VS-BL9G-6JBH-P44Z-4M2S Upon visiting the shop in Westminster today, I discovered the closure and was informed by a neighboring store employee. I kindly ask for the prompt processing of this refund and recommend removing Golden Health from your website to prevent similar experiences for other customers. Please contact me via mobile at [redacted]. Thank you, Mang

I purchased a phone cover for my new iPhone 11 Pro Max from Livingsocial on 8/14/20, and I'm not satisfied with it. I would like to return it for a refund to my credit card. I've been struggling to contact someone for the return process. Livingsocial and Groupon make returns challenging, and it's frustrating. Please reach out to me at [redacted] to arrange for a return label.

Subject: Issue with Just Nails Voucher I bought a $29 voucher for Just Nails and attempted to book an appointment as instructed, but got no response. Today, when I tried again, I was informed that I couldn't purchase another voucher since I had done so previously. I suggested using the voucher for a different service, but was told there were no appointments available. I am requesting a refund of $29 to be credited back to my credit card ending in [redacted].

I purchased a California Coast Home Services Dryer Cleaning session for $49 on 9/14/[redacted]. I scheduled an appointment for today, 9/16/[redacted], and spoke to Rob who requested my voucher number which he redeemed before his arrival. Upon inspection, he mentioned our dryer vent was 15 feet long, exceeding the covered 6 feet from the voucher, thus requiring an additional $72. This was unexpected as it wasn't communicated during booking or on the website. I declined to pay the extra fee, and Rob left without completing the service. I am requesting a refund of $49. I have been a regular user of your website and not encountered such issues before. Regrettably, I will not be using this company's services in the future. Chi Y.

I have a voucher for M.D. Aesthetics & Wellness Institute that is expiring soon, and they have refused to extend it despite challenges due to Covid-19. The voucher was a gift for my daughter and expires on October 18th. I am seeking a refund to purchase a voucher from a different office. Additionally, although I tried to book another appointment for myself and extend my daughter's voucher, the business declined because I had been there before. Surprisingly, I was charged for 2 vouchers instead of 1, resulting in 3 vouchers for the same place. I have been attempting to contact Living Social for assistance without success. I am requesting a refund for the extra voucher and a credit for the remaining 2. Thank you.

On July 16, [redacted], I purchased a couples massage from Couples Retreat Day Spa. When I attempted to schedule it for this Monday, I learned that the voucher cannot be used on weekends or holidays. I cannot use it during the week, and I don't remember any restrictions being mentioned during the purchase. If these limitations had been clear, I wouldn't have bought the massage. I ask for a refund and credit back to my credit card. Thank you in advance.

Please refer to chat ticket ID [redacted]. The individual was supposed to rectify the issue with the Skin by Kerry skin for trading purposes, but failed to do so. They were also tasked with addressing the double charge for one LaserAway voucher, which was not resolved properly. Instead of fixing the overcharge, they refunded two vouchers, rendering them unusable, and incorrectly marked one as redeemed when it was not. The service received was incredibly poor, and the difficulty in reaching out for assistance only exacerbated the frustration. I kindly request a refund for the Skin by Kerry skin, as I no longer desire a voucher due to these complications. Additionally, please rectify the status of the LaserAway voucher and issue a refund for it. The erroneously refunded vouchers can be disregarded, as they are no longer wanted. I am dissatisfied with the service provided by LS.

Subject: Issue with Voucher Codes I am writing to address an issue with the voucher codes 9W833K-5J7AXC and JCMSDS-MVP7CV. The hotel is not honoring the afternoon tea offer as advertised on Mondays to Fridays; it is only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, conflicting with my Thursday reservation. Regarding a previous matter, I am dissatisfied with Living Social's services. I had received a wallet credit of £54.00 on 29 August [redacted], valid for 3 months. However, despite using £27.75 on 18 Sept [redacted], I discovered my remaining balance of £26.25 had expired on 1 Oct [redacted], contradicting the information provided by the site. I am disappointed by these discrepancies and no longer wish to use Living Social if the matter is not resolved promptly. Sincerely, Michelle McCartney

Subject: Disappointing Purchase Experience Dear Customer Service, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to address my recent order of the Reusable Bento Box Food Storage Container Set (20-piece) that I received on November 2, [redacted]. Firstly, despite expecting the 40-piece set, I only received the 20-piece set. The items arrived carelessly packed, leading to breakage and cracking upon use due to their poor quality. Upon initiating a return process, I was informed that only a store credit was being offered, which is unacceptable given the substandard nature of the product received. I firmly believe that for faulty items like these, a full refund should be the norm, particularly within the timeframe of receiving the order. I have duly attached the return labels and would like to kindly request a full refund instead of a store credit. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your understanding. Kind regards, J.

I recently attempted to use my Living Social wallet credit to purchase a new item, but I encountered a problem when the voucher information disappeared from my account. I could input the order number, however, there was no option to proceed without the voucher number. My original purchase was refunded due to the hotel's closure during the lockdown. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to find assistance with this issue, leading to my disappointment in Living Social. This experience has made me hesitant to make future purchases. My order number is [redacted]6, and I am Roseanna Savage. I understand the current limitations due to the pandemic, but I have been unable to reach anyone for help, even with the contact number provided. Working in a Customer Service-related department, I find this level of service unacceptable.

I attempted to utilize credit from a previous purchase, but upon entering the details, the message "this voucher has already been refunded" keeps appearing. I wish to apply this credit towards another product in my account rather than having it refunded to my PayPal. I have made several attempts to reach out regarding this matter but have been unable to find a working telephone number without a prerecorded message or a proper email contact option. As a long-time customer of Living Social, I am disappointed by the lack of communication channels. Businesses I work with are also surprised by the limited means of getting in touch and are hesitant to use your voucher service. Before escalating this to the Consumers Association, I hope to receive a resolution through this final attempt at reaching out.

I purchased a voucher through Groupon, but mistakenly bought a Sam's Club membership renewal, which is not possible. I requested a refund of $25, but it was denied. Discover granted Groupon the refund. Initially, Groupon offered me a credit, but now they are giving me difficult tasks to complete for over a month. Can someone help me with this issue? I just want a credit to use for holiday gifts. It has been a frustrating experience with this company, especially as a long-time client. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I recently bought a spa wrap, only to find out from the seller that the ad was not theirs and they are not associated with Living Social. Trying to resolve this with Living Social led to getting a generic email. I attempted to leave a message but was timed out before I could explain my issue. This experience has been frustrating. I am now informing Living Social that I am done with their service and will involve my credit card company. I believe a refund for my purchase is the appropriate resolution.

I ordered an item on Living Social but it couldn't be sent to Northern Ireland. They refunded me £32.98 to my wallet. I used £32.98 + £1 for another purchase but again, couldn't get it delivered to Northern Ireland. I asked for a full refund to my PayPal account for £33.98 as I won't be buying more. They refunded £1 right away but sent £32.98 to my wallet. I asked for the full refund. On November 24th, the wallet shows empty but I haven't received the money in my account. I've emailed and texted but no solution yet. What should I do next?

My order number is [redacted]0. I received a 25% voucher for pitkit which did not work. After contacting pitkit about the issue, they were unable to resolve it. I purchased the voucher from you, not pitkit, so I believe you are responsible for fixing this. I expect to receive a functioning voucher as I have the right to that. I am disappointed as I was told by text message to contact pitkit myself. It's like buying a car from a dealer that doesn't work, and then being asked to contact the manufacturer for a fix. You have the contract with pitkit, not me. Please take care of this matter.

I've experienced poor customer service on this website. Although the website states that advisors are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., it's impossible to reach anyone. When calling the phone number, a message about Covid-19 preventing them from answering further frustrates me. I don't understand why the virus affects phone answering, as it doesn't require physical proximity to speak on the phone. I continue to work and answer calls in my workplace without issues. It seems like Covid-19 is being used as an excuse for inadequate service, but there's no valid reason for phone assistance to be unavailable.

I purchased a voucher for a massage and facial in the spring. After receiving an email stating that the company, Massage Odyssey, had closed, I didn't redeem it due to COVID-19. Recently, I noticed the voucher reappeared in my account, expiring this month. Upon contacting the company for an extension, I was informed they weren't accepting vouchers and advised to reach out to you. The voucher is no longer in my account, and I can't locate the voucher number, but the order number is [redacted]. It was valued at $52, which also seems to have disappeared. Can I redeem it after the expiration date, possibly through Groupon? As there isn't anything appealing to me on Living Social at the moment.

I arrived for my scheduled massage appointment and was informed the restroom had been out of order for a week. The staff suggested I go find a restroom in downtown Wake Forest, mentioning a CVS store nearby. I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a refund or a new appointment, only to be told to either proceed with the massage or forfeit my payment. After speaking with the Manager on the phone, I was informed I had to use the facilities that day. Despite reaching out to Living Social multiple times, I have not received any response from the company. I will not be using this spa again and have shared my negative experience with friends. It would be reassuring to hear from Living Social, although I do not anticipate a reply. I feel unheard and disappointed in the level of service provided. Thank you. George R.
