I placed an order for several yarns with an expected delivery time of 2 to 5 business days. I even paid extra for expedited shipping. However, despite seeing the order acknowledged in my account, there has been no progress. My payment of $[redacted].00 has been processed, but there is no information on the shipping date. I have tried contacting them by phone and email with no response. When I did speak to someone over the phone, they were unhelpful and suggested contacting customer service, who also don't answer calls or messages. The lack of communication and customer service is disappointing, especially considering I've already paid for my order. It's frustrating that a company of this size doesn't seem to prioritize its customers. The order number is #[redacted]08.

I experienced similar delivery issues as mentioned earlier. In my recent second-to-last order, I paid around $33.50 for expedited shipping (1-3 business days), but it took 3 days for processing and a total of one week for the package to arrive. This time, I opted for the middle shipping option (3-5 business days), and after 6 business days (8 days total), my package is still processing. Despite speaking with a representative yesterday who promised to ship it out, it hasn't happened yet. As a business owner relying on this yarn, I am frustrated. Considering switching to Wool and the Gang after this experience. I've also noticed it takes multiple attempts (at least 10 calls) before reaching a customer service representative.

I recently reached out to you via email on a Sunday to modify an order that was back-ordered. I received an automated response initially. Despite this, my order shipped on Tuesday without any prior communication. I expressed my frustration via email again but did not receive any further responses. Upon contacting you through Facebook and messenger, I felt ignored and only received a generic reply stating that you may take longer to respond on weekends. The lack of effective communication has been disappointing, and seeing similar complaints on your Facebook page is concerning. Despite my love for Lion Brand yarns, this experience has left me feeling let down and I am hesitant to make future purchases from your company. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly. Sincerely, Kaye P.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Lion Brand Yarns' Wool-Ease Thick and Quick. After purchasing 43 skeins at $8.50 each from Michaels, I expected to receive super bulky yarn for my projects. However, the yarn quality was subpar. The thickness varied greatly within each skein, starting as a size 4 bulky and then thinning out like spaghetti as I knitted. This inconsistency caused me significant frustration as I had to constantly adjust my tension. Additionally, the color and thickness inconsistencies disrupted my pattern continuity. This experience was incredibly frustrating and not what I had hoped for. I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with others to prevent them from facing similar issues. Lion Brand Yarns should take responsibility for the quality of their products and the accuracy of their advertising.

I'm reaching out regarding my recent purchase of three balls of Jeans Jean Vaqueros yarn from Michaels in Riverhead, NY. I took care to match up the Dye Lot numbers when working on "The Daybreak Tee" pattern from Lion Brand. Upon completing the project, I noticed a color variation where I switched to the second ball, which is disappointing as this item is intended as a gift and I aimed for perfection. I have images available for reference if necessary. I kindly request a refund from Lion Brand Yarn Company for the defective yarn, considering the time and effort invested in knitting this piece.

I made a purchase on August 11, [redacted], for a case of Cupcakes Yarn in "Peas and Carrots" color. The order total was $84.22, including $60.00 for the yarn, $20.20 for shipping, and $4.02 for tax. FedEx shipped the package on August 16th, and I have the tracking number. Although FedEx claims it was delivered on August 19th to a side door without a signature, I do not have a side door and did not receive the package. After contacting FedEx, they said it was delivered, but I was home all day and no truck stopped by. The Trace Department advised me to reach out to the company. This was a significant order for me, already charged to my credit card. I've tried calling 1-[redacted] and 1-[redacted] without success. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently purchased sock yarn from Joann's Fabric store in Durham, North Carolina. The Mani-Pedi Lot #[redacted] in color [redacted] with article #[redacted] had knots in both balls I bought. I intended to knit a pair of socks as a gift, and I am disappointed with the quality issue. Despite liking the colors of the Lion Brand Yarn, I had to deal with knots where the yarn broke during the manufacturing process. I photographed the last ball with the knot, and this was not just a one-time occurrence. I would suggest improving the quality control in the production process to avoid these issues in the future. This experience might make me consider trying yarns from other companies instead of Lion Brand in the future. - C.C.

I am currently working on a baby sweater using Mandala yarn in the unicorn colorway. Despite my enjoyment of the yarn, I am disappointed to find three knotted joins not even halfway through the cake. The appeal of this yarn was the absence of ends to weave in, so discovering these knots has presented a challenge and resulted in six ends to manage. The frequency of knots in the pink section is concerning as it may lead to a shortage of that particular color. This experience seems excessive for a single skein of yarn.

I placed my order on January 17th, and it's now February 12th. This delay is truly frustrating. My order number is #[redacted]87. Janet M. This level of service is completely unacceptable! Please ship whatever items are currently in stock immediately. I will not be making any future purchases from your company. It's disappointing to think that I receive items from Hong Kong via EBay faster than this! It has been 26 days since I placed the order on January 17th! 26 days! And I had to pay extra for shipping? Janet M. Email: [redacted] I have already contacted your customer service about this problem. I am trying to call again today, but your website doesn't make it easy to find the customer service phone number. And when I call, there is no answer, no voicemail... nothing.

I purchased Lion Brand Yarn Jeans 3.5oz [redacted] yd Stonewashed with scattered numbers on the label: [redacted], 109W, and 29. The name on the yarn is Jean Vaqueros and it features tiny black emblems indicating that one skein is sufficient for a Beanie Hat. I attempted to search for Vaqueros on your website and came across a pattern for a baby beanie with a baby blue/white edging. However, after following the Likes' hints on making a larger size, I now have 90 stitches on my needles. Unfortunately, I can no longer locate the Vaqueros listing or find my pattern on your site. Could you please assist me in finding this pattern as I intended to make six beanies using the three skeins of yarn I have? Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, F. Brandon.

I have been struggling for over a year with the delivery service used by Lion Brand, which is FedEx. The FedEx "help desk" is not acknowledging the issues or addressing the simple fix needed to improve the delivery process. I am looking to get assistance from Lion Brand to resolve this situation, as they have more influence than I do. It would be beneficial if Lion Brand could offer alternative shipping options during checkout or switch to a different shipping company altogether, such as UPS or USPS, which have provided good service in the past. My difficulties arise from the local FedEx office not following SmartPost regulations correctly by changing packages to "Home Delivery" status instead of sending them to USPS. This not only seems to be a violation but also creates physical challenges for me due to the poor delivery practices of the Home Delivery Drivers. USPS deliveries have been reliable and accommodating, unlike my experiences with FedEx. I believe many of Lion Brand's customers, like myself, who are elderly or disabled, may be facing similar delivery issues. It is frustrating that FedEx is not addressing the problem effectively, despite the clear solutions I have provided in numerous emails. Hopefully, a reputable company like Lion Brand will take action to ensure a better delivery experience for its customers.

I have purchased nearly every pattern of the Off the Hook Magic Loop yarn. I bought 2-3 skeins of each, but last night when I tried making the poop emoji one, it turned out all messed up. It looked good until I reached the mouth, then it went wrong. I wanted to make pillows with these, but now I'm not sure. Has anyone else faced this issue? The yarn was expensive at $6.99 per skein. I'm hoping to either get a refund or a new skein. I've seen other reviews mentioning the same problem, which is disappointing considering the money and time invested in this. I hope the other patterns turn out better. Thank you, M.K.

I have purchased multiple skeins of Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn and was considering opening a yarn store, as suggested by my daughter. Unfortunately, the latest skein I started using has been causing me a lot of trouble. It keeps tangling, forcing me to cut and restart my project multiple times. I'm looking to acquire Hunter Green Pound of Love and would prefer not to return to the store. I attempted to contact Lion Brand by phone, but they seem too busy to take my call and directed me to leave a message. Thank you for your assistance. -Mary W.

I bought 2 cakes of the Cover Story Emery yarn. The first one was great, but the second cake's first [redacted] feet were sticky and flat, making it hard to work with. I'll finish my project and hope it fluffs up after washing, as I can't find more nearby and need it for a Christmas gift. I also got 2 cakes of astro, 2 of blue/green, and 4 of brown/black/cream. These yarns work up fast, but each of the [redacted]-yard cakes had multiple splices, some even falling apart. I was hoping to minimize splices in my blankets using these. I invested a lot in 10 cakes and am disappointed in the quality of the sticky cake from Lion Brand.

I'm unsure about the type of brown yarn I purchased as I discarded the packaging. When I started my project, I noticed pieces of yarn tied together with some parts cut, causing bulkiness in certain areas. This has disappointed me as I have previously bought yarn from you without encountering this issue. The areas where it is tied or bulked up are visible in my project, and I cannot trim them as it may unravel.

I used a large ball of cover yarn to make an afghan. Despite being happy with the amount and price, finding around 20 knots in just 30 yards of yarn disappointed me greatly. The knots are too frequent, some as close as 6 inches apart, with one 3-foot stretch containing 4 knots. This raises concerns if the product is made from factory scraps, making the pricing seem unreasonable. Now I am faced with the dilemma of either incorporating the knots into my work or cutting and reattaching the yarn, resulting in multiple loose ends. The yarn's quality let me down, making it less likely for me to purchase this brand in the future.

I purchased your Pound of Love yarn, which is made in Egypt, color [redacted] White Blanc, Article #[redacted], Lot #18. Upon using it, I encountered 8 knots before I reached halfway. Additionally, I found a 2 ft. and 6 ft. piece of yarn stuffed in the center, which seemed unusual. As I continue using the yarn, I am unsure if I will discover more knots. I have been a long-time user of Pound of Love (made in Turkey) and have seldom faced issues, with maybe finding one knot occasionally. Considering the price of around $10.00 per skein, encountering this many knots is disappointing. It would be beneficial for your company to label skeins with excessive knots so that customers are aware before purchasing. The quality control appears to be inadequate. Upon finishing the ball of yarn, I counted 16 knots.

I purchased two skeins of "Pound Of Love" yarn to create a baby blanket. While working on the blanket, I encountered a large knot in the yarn, resulting in me having to cut and redo sections. Unfortunately, I've come across eight more knots and loose strings while working on this project. This has been very disappointing as it has made the blanket look messy instead of lovely. To finish the project, I had to open the second skein which also had knots. I have used Lion Brand Yarn before and have never experienced such poor quality. I would appreciate either a refund or replacement skeins to complete my project. I have pictures available for reference. Thank you for understanding the frustration this has caused me.

I recently purchased Pound of Love yarn in white and noticed a difference in texture compared to what I have been used to over the past 15 years. The yarn from the new manufacturer in Egypt feels less soft than the previous one from Turkey. This change is affecting the baby blanket I am making in a granny square design. As a long-time customer, I'm disappointed by the noticeable difference. My knitting group, known as "Knit Wits" from the church, also relies heavily on your product for various projects including mission work and bazaar sales. I sincerely hope you can address this issue promptly to maintain our loyalty. Thank you for investigating this matter. Linda C.

I recently purchased Lion Brand Pound of Love 16 oz skeins, one in Cherry color 114L Lot#[redacted] and another in Oxford Grey color [redacted] Lot #71. Unfortunately, I faced a frustrating issue when I couldn't locate the start of the yarn despite an exhaustive search. After spending two hours trying to untangle the mess without success, both skeins ended up in the trash. I hope Lion Brand can address this issue, but I am disappointed with this experience. Sadly, I won't be purchasing Lion Brand products again due to the waste of time and money this caused me. My frustration has reached its peak.
