I recently purchased 3 outfits from Light in the Box, intending to keep one and return the others. They were all the same burgundy color for a wedding. Despite not trying them on, I discovered the color was more cranberry than burgundy, rendering them unsuitable. I have reached out to customer service multiple times to no avail. I mistakenly mentioned ordering the wrong size initially, but the main issue is the color discrepancy. It's puzzling that an item of poor quality, incorrect size, and clearly wrong color cannot be returned. The tops were even inside out when I received them, which further complicates the matter. I hope customer service can reconsider their policy given the circumstances.

Subject: Issue with Order Number: [redacted][redacted] Dear Customer Service Team, I wanted to share my experience with the Indoor Glass Wall Sconce I ordered recently. Upon hanging the fixture, I noticed a discrepancy - the iron plate behind the glass was black instead of the expected gold, which is visible through the glass and does not look pleasing. Furthermore, the bulb provided blew out immediately after installation. It appears the fixture requires a low voltage bulb of 12 volts, a detail not clearly mentioned in the information section but indicated inside the box. Given the unexpected challenges faced, I would appreciate either a refund or a replacement of the black plate with a gold one, along with at least two low voltage bulbs suited for the fixture. Hello, I am reaching out again regarding my recent order which was delivered almost 2 weeks late. When I received the package, I found that it only contained the cycling shoes and pedals without the cleats as expected. Due to the delay in shipping, I now face difficulties returning the item as time has passed during transit between your warehouse in London. I am scheduled to fly overseas on Tuesday due to my mother's critical health condition. I have not used the shoes and would like to return the order promptly. LightInTheBox canceled my order and informed me that my refund would be sent to my bank within 25 business days. However, after contacting them, I was told the refund was transferred to rewards and credits on their website. Around two weeks later, I found the reward balance was €0. I originally paid €41.90 for the order, which included the KWB 20M(4*5M) [redacted] RGB [redacted] LEDs 8mm Strip Flexible Light LED IR 44Key Remote Controller with EU/US/AU/UK Power Supply AC110-240V LED Light Strip Kit. I would prefer the refund to be sent directly to my bank account.

Yesterday, on 11/27/19, I placed an order (#[redacted][redacted]) on lightinthebox.com. I've noticed that my email is listed as 'unconfirmed' when I log into my account on their website. I have already submitted a ticket (ID [redacted]6) regarding this issue, but I have not received a response yet. I am concerned because I haven't received the confirmation email for my account or order from Lightinthebox.com even though my payment has been processed. On November 19th at 9:53 pm AEST, I made a purchase via PayPal for three girls' outfits and tiaras, totaling $[redacted].38. I am experiencing constant disconnections from the chat service. I have been unable to reach out to them since placing my order. I most likely will not be ordering from this store again. I am trying to ensure that the hair color I ordered is medium auburn and expedite the shipping process. Unfortunately, the chat agent, who I believe was named Fabio, is only stating what I selected and then ending the chat abruptly. I have also submitted a customer service ticket through the mobile app but have not received a response. This has been a disappointing first-time customer experience for me.

Hello, I placed an order for a watch on November 29, [redacted], but I forgot to register when I paid for it through PayPal (£63.40). I had an issue with Light in the Box charging me twice for a single order. The products were shipped with two different order numbers and different amounts were charged. Specifically, on November 24, [redacted], they charged $38.52 for order #[redacted][redacted] and on Nov 28, [redacted], they charged $39.51 for order #[redacted][redacted]. I only ordered one 30L Bike Rack Bag in Red. I've been struggling to contact them for a refund for the extra item they sent and charged me for. Their customer service suggested I keep the extra product and give it to a friend instead of returning it to China due to high return shipping costs. They even tried to negotiate partial refunds which I declined. I've contacted my credit card company to investigate this double charge as I found their response unacceptable. The customer service experience has been disappointing, and I am advocating for a full refund. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I paid for both the goods and postage from lightinbox.com (reference number [redacted]). I got a message from DHL delivery service requesting an additional £70 for the delivery of these goods. I've already paid for postage and I'm unwilling to pay twice for the same order. I would like a refund if you can't deliver for the amount I've already paid. Dear LightInTheBox, I would like to request the immediate removal of [redacted] from your mailing list. I did not subscribe to these emails or authorize any solicitations. Continuing to receive emails from your company will lead me to contact the appropriate Canadian authorities. Sending out unsolicited emails reflects poorly on your business practices and many customers, including myself, avoid companies engaging in such behavior, even if they offer attractive products. I have taken the step to forward all emails along with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I have attempted to contact you multiple times, however, there is no English phone number available for reaching you. I faced issues while trying to place an order for dresses, as the transaction did not go through successfully. Despite receiving numerous emails indicating the order failure, £75.82 has been deducted from my bank account. I kindly request an immediate refund of this amount and clarification on why it was initially charged. I have not received any items from your company. I received the shoes, but unfortunately, they are a whole size too small. There is a minor spot on the side, which isn't very conspicuous, but it's crucial as they are for my daughter’s wedding. I waited for 3 weeks for delivery, and they are lovely; however, I wish I had been advised to order a size up. I am unable to locate a contact number or any means to reach out to LightInTheBox. Could someone assist me in ordering the same shoe in a larger size and a different color? The champagne fabric apparently reveals every imperfection.

Hello, I was excited about the $15 voucher for a new customer App account, which I found to be fantastic. However, when I went shopping and reached the checkout, the voucher I received was only for 80 cents. Although I understand exchange rates can affect it, this discrepancy feels deceptive. It's disappointing that there were no terms and conditions available for me to review before signing up. Starting a relationship with new customers through deception may lead to a loss of trust and ultimately drive customers away. Thank you, James H.

I accidentally added a pair of boots to my cart and ended up purchasing them. Despite my attempts to cancel the order through emails and the delivery person's suggestion to reject the boots, I had to ship them back to New York. Lightinthebox is only offering a partial refund as I didn't want to pay $35 to return the boots to China, which was more than the boots' cost. I also faced issues canceling a jacket order as they only offer full refunds if the items are returned to China. Despite their assurance of a $15 refund if I kept the jacket, I haven't received it. I believe their return policy is designed to make customers pay more by shipping items back to China, even if they were originally sent from the U.S. I'm looking for a complete refund on the boots and the promised $15 back on the jacket while hoping to raise awareness about their questionable practices.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from LightInTheBox that I would like to return due to their poor quality. I am willing to provide more information if necessary.
