I received a shipping confirmation from Light in the Box for an item I ordered. However, when I clicked on the order number to get the shipping/tracking number, it shows that my order list is empty. When DHL attempted to deliver the item, I was informed that I hadn't paid the Custom Excise Duty, so they couldn't give it to me. I was instructed to pay the customs duty online first, but I can't do that without the tracking number. Frustrating situation!

On 3/27/20, I made a purchase with Light in the Box, a New York Stock Exchange listed company. The order indicated Expedited Express shipping (3-5 business days). I received a shipment notification on 4/5. When I tried to track the package through DHL using the provided tracking number, I was redirected to contact DHL USA. It was surprising to find out the package was coming from China, which was not disclosed in any prior communication from the company. After contacting DHL, I learned that despite Light in the Box printing a label, the package had not been handed over to DHL for shipping. Unfortunately, Light in the Box does not provide a customer service number. I have requested to cancel the order and receive a refund of $[redacted].07 charged to my Visa on 3/27. I am still awaiting a response from the company.

Good morning. My name is José Ramón Echarren, and I have been trying to reach you to file a complaint about the cancellation of my order for several reasons. Firstly, I was unable to access my orders at any point, making it impossible to track my order. Secondly, the only information I received was regarding an order that did not match what I had placed. To make matters worse, I am being asked to pay double the amount due to customs fees. This is unacceptable. I request a prompt refund of the amount already charged. As a customer, I should not be held responsible for the company's mistakes once payment has been made. If the service does not align with what was contracted, I should not bear the responsibility.

I am José Ramón Echarren again, and I have already explained my issue with Light in the Box. I am demanding a refund for my order as I don't have it in my possession since I refused to pay the customs fee that I was not informed about when I placed the order. Also, I want to reiterate that I did not order an exercise ball, so I will not be accepting the order, paying the customs fee, or remaining silent about wanting a refund for what I have already been charged. To add to my complaints, it is impossible to get in touch with the company as they do not provide any customer service contact system, at least not one that is useful and direct. The supposed order is with the courier company, and I will continue to reject it repeatedly. I will not pay more than I have already paid, and I demand a refund for what I have paid.

I haven't received my order that was fully paid for using my Visa card, totaling $39.97, including a $0.99 insurance fee, on April 13, [redacted]. If LightInTheBox cannot deliver my order, I would like a refund. I am unable to contact them online and the only phone number available seems to be in China. I noticed an error in my mailing information on their website, stating St. Petersburg, Alabama, [redacted], while I actually reside in St. Petersburg, Florida [redacted]. I made a purchase on Light in the Box website on April 13th. My order, which was over $[redacted], was processed immediately. I have been trying to reach out to the company for weeks due to receiving inaccurate information online. However, all I receive in response are scripted messages. The company divided my order into three shipments, all marked as shipped for the past 10 days, yet tracking shows that the courier hasn't received the items. I have exhausted all options to contact them without any resolution. I requested a refund, but it has not been addressed. I received a notification stating that my order was shipped on 4/25/20 with the order number #[redacted][redacted]. The estimated shipping time was 3-4 business days, but the package tracking hasn't been updated. The tracking information keeps showing the same message from the 26th, stating that the US Postal Service was notified electronically on 4/26/20 to expect the package. However, this doesn't confirm receipt by USPS or the actual mailing date. The delivery status information is not available as the number cannot be found in the carrier's system. It's now 5/6/20, 8 business days later, and I still haven't received any further updates despite checking daily. I tried contacting the bank on 04/25/20, but they don't have a telephone number. Hello, I ordered a box of [redacted] respiratory masks on April 20th with extremely fast DHL airmail delivery estimated to arrive within 3 to 7 days at my address. I paid a total of €66.90 via PayPal, but upon checking my account, I found no order history or record of the purchase. I couldn't reach customer service, and there was no trace of the order in my cart or account. I recreated my account to check for any record but found nothing. I made the payment on April 20th, [redacted], which should have been delivered by April 27th, [redacted], but there has been no response regarding this order. As a new customer, I am very frustrated with the lack of communication.

I recently visited the website intending to order a birthday gift for my friend, who had previously received a good-quality product from them. It's challenging to reach customer service for questions. I need information about product [redacted]7, the pendant light. I'd like to know the location of the power cord from the ceiling to the circular light surface. Is it a stand-alone cord, or is it part of one of the 6 support wires? Is it easily visible? Moreover, if it's integrated, do all 6 support wires, including the one handling power, have the same diameter?

I made a purchase on 4/25 and was told by the company that they shipped my order on the 28th, but USPS has no record of receiving it. I paid more than $14 for express shipping to receive it quickly, but it has not arrived within the expected 3-5 business days. I purchased some lamps over 2 months ago. Initially, the supplier made a mistake by sending the package via regular mail instead of the express shipping I had paid for. They informed me it would arrive in 6 weeks. Every 2 weeks, I inquired about my package, but they were unable to locate it.
After 2 months, I contacted them again, and they informed me that the package was held in customs and advised me to contact a customs agency. The customs agency stated that the package had been sitting for over 4 weeks and was confiscated as no one made a claim.
Given that the package was sent via regular mail, it was untraceable, and even after providing evidence of its loss, the supplier blamed me for the mishap and claimed they couldn't assist further despite my efforts to show proof of their mistakes.
