On the 29th of July [redacted], I took a flight from Kazan to Toronto with a layover in Warsaw. Unfortunately, LOT Airlines made an error and failed to transfer my luggage to Toronto, leaving it stranded in Warsaw for two days. The luggage was only returned to me on the third day of my quarantine. The situation was quite distressing as my suitcase contained essential items like toiletries, pajamas, a phone charger, medication, and more, all crucial for my daily routine. These were items that couldn't be easily replaced or delivered promptly to my quarantine location. I am looking to seek compensation from LOT Airlines for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding. Flight Details: Booking Number: S48DNU Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted] Luggage Tag: [redacted] SU [redacted] Initial Flight: [redacted] Moscow - Warsaw

Subject: Urgent Help Needed - Duplicate Booking Issue and Payment Refund Request Hello, I encountered a complication regarding my booking from Skopje to Amsterdam on 17th August, with reference V646TF. Despite the payment denial, my travel agent secured a new booking under 3A26A9. Surprisingly, I then received a confirmation from LOT for the initially declined booking V646TF. Currently, I find myself holding two bookings for the same flight, V646TF and 3A26A9. My request is to proceed with canceling the redundant booking V646TF and arrange for a refund to my credit card promptly. I have attempted to contact LOT in Belgium and Poland to resolve this matter to no avail, experiencing frustration being put on hold for 25 minutes after a failed booking attempt. I kindly seek your assistance in cancelling V646TF and processing the refund efficiently. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Y.H. Ticket Numbers: [redacted][redacted] Faina Prupes Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted] Lev Spizin To Whom It May Concern, I am seeking assistance regarding my recent travel experience. My companion, Lev Spitzin, tested positive for COVID-19, which resulted in us being denied boarding with the airline LOT. Despite being present at the airport, we were labeled as a "no-show" and were asked to pay an upgraded fare for business class tickets we originally purchased for $[redacted]. This treatment by LOT was unacceptable, especially considering the circumstances. Furthermore, our luggage was delayed, leaving us without essential items after a long flight. We incurred an additional cost of $2,[redacted] for premium economy tickets to return home due to the high cost of upgrading our business class tickets. We followed all necessary precautions during our travel and believe we deserve fair compensation for the inconvenience caused. I kindly request a refund or credit for the unused portion of our tickets and ask for a possible upgrade to business class for the return flight, along with access to the business lounge during our layover in Warsaw. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Faina P.

I requested a refund for a canceled flight and got confirmation on May 14, [redacted] but still haven't received the refund. Can I receive a voucher instead? Here is a copy of the confirmation email: Dear Passenger, Thank you for contacting LOT Polish Airlines. We acknowledge that we have received your request. Due to the current situation, we are working diligently to process your refund promptly. You may consider opting for an electronic voucher valid for 24 months from the date of issue. This voucher can be easily used for future travel arrangements. You can generate your voucher within 48 hours via email. The voucher's value will match your original ticket price and can be used for various services. Should you prefer a voucher over a refund, fill out the Electronic Ticket Change Form. Kindly refrain from submitting multiple requests or contacting us for updates as it might prolong the process. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Best regards, LOT Polish Airlines Team

We are currently in Yerevan and our return flight to Warsaw is canceled, with no alternative flights available until March [redacted]. We attempted to find a flight from Yerevan to Warsaw for the same day to connect to our flight back to Toronto, but have been unsuccessful. Dear Sirs, I am writing to address an issue with a recent purchase from LOT. On April 10, [redacted], we acquired 2 business class tickets for a total of $4,[redacted].58 to travel between the USA and Poland in December [redacted]. Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, we chose not to proceed with the trip and requested a refund. We were only refunded $[redacted].38 and were not informed of the remaining value that could not be used to adjust our travel dates. We believe this lack of transparency is unacceptable. Despite being told this process aligned with ticket terms, denying us the opportunity to utilize the remaining value of $4,[redacted].20 for date changes or issue a more comprehensive refund indicates poor customer service. We are seeking a LOT representative willing to assist us by allowing us to reschedule our trip without losing the value of the tickets. Please reach out if there is someone available to address our concerns promptly. Sincerely, J. R. Buchanan Booking reference: LLAX3A

Hello, I am seeking new reservations and have a few questions regarding my upcoming trip from Toronto, Canada to Delhi, India. Queries: 1. Do I require a transit visa during my layover (2 hours and 40 minutes) in Poland for this flight? 2. Could you please provide information on cancellation charges? What happens if the airlines cancel the flight due to covid? 3. Is it necessary to take a covid test in Warsaw, Poland, even if I have a negative report from Toronto/Delhi for the departing and returning flights between Toronto-India and vice versa?

Good morning, My brother, Y. Popov, is traveling from Chicago to Amsterdam to Warsaw to Kiev. His United Airlines flight from Chicago to Amsterdam departed 2 hours later than scheduled, which may cause him to miss his connecting LOT flights LO264 to Warsaw and LO753 to Kiev. His booking number is UWRBCO. He attempted to contact LOT hotline without success. Could you please advise on how he can change his tickets to a later LOT flight on the same day? Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out with an urgent concern. I am a student at the University of Lodz in Poland and have been residing there for approximately two years. Unfortunately, my visa has expired, and due to delays caused by the pandemic, I have not yet received my residency card. While I applied for the card in December and have completed the necessary fingerprinting in Poland, I only have a confirmation stamp in my passport. The Polish border guards at Chopin Airport in Warsaw have informed me that I should be able to enter Poland with this stamp under the new law. However, when I attempted to fly back to Poland on January 3rd with FlyDubai, I was denied boarding as they were unsure of Polish regulations. I am wondering if LOT Airlines would be more understanding of my situation and if they would allow me to travel back to Poland. I am prepared to provide any documentation needed to prove my circumstances and hope that traveling with LOT Airlines will enable me to enter Poland smoothly.

I flew business class from LAX to TLV on April 6, [redacted] with confirmation number 3YYXQY. Unfortunately, my luggage has been misplaced, and I am extremely dissatisfied as it's been three days since April 9th and I still haven't received it. I have reported the issue at TLV airport, called, and emailed, but LOT Airlines seems to have poor customer service. It's frustrating that out of my two bags, one arrived without any issue. I urgently want to know the whereabouts of my missing luggage and why it's taking so long to locate. I am in need of compensation right away since I lack clothes and my work computer is in the lost bag. This experience with LOT Airlines has been disappointing and unacceptable.

Dear LOT Polish Airlines, I am currently a student at the Technical Institute of Kosice in Slovakia, studying at the Faculty of Aeronautics with a specialization in air transport management. For my bachelor's thesis this year, I am focused on "The Analysis of Work Responsibilities and Communication in English of Airworthiness Controllers in the European Union." I kindly request your assistance in answering a few questions: 1. Do you have a designated individual responsible for airworthiness? 2. If so, what is the official job title and duties of this staff member? 3. In the event of a plane malfunction, how is it resolved and what are the actions of this employee? 4. What language proficiency requirements, particularly in English, do you expect from this employee, such as those outlined by the ICAO? 5. How is the language proficiency of this employee assessed? Are tests or oral examinations used? 6. How crucial is a high level of English for this employee, especially during work-related communication within the airline? I sincerely appreciate your detailed responses. Thank you for your attention and understanding. Warm regards, Raidenko Polina

I have been attempting to reach LOT without success. Despite numerous calls to various phone numbers, no one has answered. I submitted a ticket change request on April 6th using the contact form and received a confirmation email at [redacted], but there have been no further updates. I asked to change my travel date from April 11th to April 30th after noticing available seats on April 30th for the same price on Lot.com. My ticket number is [redacted]41. I have also tried reaching out to LOT via WhatsApp and Messenger, but have not received any responses. When trying to check the status of my ticket, it appears to have disappeared completely.

Subject: Regarding Compensation for Flight Experience Hello, my name is Shaya. I am reaching out about the delayed arrival of four of our bags and the inconvenience it has caused my brother and me. We urgently require our belongings, including clothing, toiletries, and bedding, to continue our daily routine. I kindly request substantial compensation for this situation. I will provide receipts for any essential items purchased until our bags are returned, so you can reimburse accordingly. Additionally, I must address our seating arrangements on the second flight, where we were moved to the back with inadequate storage space and a broken USB charging port. This resulted in discomfort and inconvenience during the journey. I urge you to take these matters seriously and compensate us accordingly, as it reflects poorly on the airline's service quality. As a flight consultant at my college, I interact with many students who travel frequently. Resolving these issues promptly will not only benefit us but also enhance your airline's reputation for future travelers. I appreciate your prompt attention to these concerns and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.

Hello, I have a query about the luggage I intend to bring for humanitarian purposes. I am a medical doctor of Greek-Canadian descent traveling from Warsaw to Rzeszow (and onward to Przemsyl) on May 23, [redacted]. My mission involves providing medical assistance at the Ukraine border, and I will have three suitcases packed with approved humanitarian aid medical supplies. My booking reference with LOT is TSYSVS, and I have already paid for a second checked bag. I am curious if it would be possible to bring a third checked bag, designated for humanitarian aid, on my initial flight LO [redacted]. I do not plan to have any checked luggage on my return journey to Warsaw, only a carry-on. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, SP MD

In [redacted], we booked flights to Budapest for [redacted] through MyTrip, which was then passed to Lot. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the flight was canceled, and we had to accept a voucher as MyTrip was unreachable. We reluctantly agreed to change the destination to Lithuania since Lot no longer flew to Budapest. However, this flight got canceled by Lot and then later canceled again due to the pandemic. We rescheduled the booking for [redacted], which has now been canceled once more. We are now seeking a refund instead of another voucher, considering the repeated cancellations by Lot. Despite being directed to approach MyTrip for assistance, we were instructed to go back to Lot. My name is Matthew Livingstone. I had a flight from Warsaw on the 15th of May [redacted], which was delayed. Upon landing in Heathrow, the train stations were closed, and I found that the Travelodge was charging [redacted] pounds a night. To get home, I had to resort to taking a taxi, which cost me [redacted] pounds. This unexpected expense meant I had to use the money reserved for electric and food shopping. Since the 16th of May [redacted], I have not been able to take my medication due to needing to have it with a full belly, and I have no food left after paying for the taxi. As a registered disabled individual with one leg and three fingers, simple tasks are challenging. I fear that if my caregiver discovers my situation, they may think I can't live independently anymore. I've reached out to LOT Airlines through numerous emails but haven't received any responses. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer to help resolve this issue. Thank you, Matthew Livingstone.

I had a terrible experience with LOT Airlines. The staff were rude, and I felt discriminated against as a British traveler. The language barrier was a significant issue, and I witnessed racist behavior towards another passenger. Despite missing my connecting flight, the service did not improve. The hygiene on the plane was also subpar, with unclean toilets. I encountered an unfriendly flight attendant who ignored my simple request for a drink. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with the entire experience and would never choose LOT Airlines again. I would caution others to avoid booking with them and consider alternative airlines for a more pleasant journey.

Hello, I am writing to inquire about the status of my ticket as I have not received a confirmation email. I had purchased a flight from Madrid to Istanbul with a departure date of July 15 and my PNR is N518YR/ZTLDXH. I requested a date change for July 17, keeping the same flight and time and received the same booking code on May 12. Although the payment has been processed by the bank, I have yet to receive the confirmation email. I would like to ensure that the flight change has been correctly processed and kindly request the confirmation email to be resent to me. I have verified that my email is correctly registered on the Lotus page. Despite numerous attempts to contact your customer service team, I have not been able to reach anyone. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention.

Dear Rafał Milczarski, Michał Fijoł, Katarzyna Piskorz, Paweł Rozkrut, and Maciej Wilk, We are a Ukrainian family consisting of six siblings who traveled with children from Warszawa to London on May 24, [redacted]. Unfortunately, during the journey, someone rummaged through our bags and stole a significant amount of money that we had been saving for years. This experience has left us deeply upset and we are struggling to come to terms with it. We kindly request that within 24 hours, you organize a meeting with all your team members who were involved in checking luggage during that flight and provide us with a detailed report of the exact number of people present. Furthermore, we urge you to inform your staff about the incident we experienced and designate a representative to update us hourly regarding the progress of the investigation. We trust that your company values its reputation and will take swift action to recover the stolen funds and ensure that the perpetrator is held accountable. We are prepared to cooperate fully with you by sharing additional details such as our travel itinerary, flight number, and ticket copies, if required. Additionally, we have involved the local authorities in this matter and expect your full cooperation to resolve it efficiently. We appreciate your attention to this matter and hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Sincerely, Petrychko family
