On October 16th, due to an identity theft incident, I received an iPhone 14 Model A2893 with a SIM card via Canada Post on October 18th. The package had a return address from TCI in Mississauga, Ontario. The fraudulent purchase of this phone was charged to my Koodo account, showing as a $[redacted] charge on my bill from October 16th. The phone is still in sealed Apple packaging, and I am looking to return it and have the associated charges removed from my account. How can I proceed with this request?

I recently subscribed to Koodo for my wife, who was hospitalized due to a heart attack. As I only needed the service for a month, more like two weeks, I canceled it and removed my account. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties after losing my job, my account wasn't closed, and an unauthorized $60 auto top-up charge was made. After contacting Koodo, they refunded the amount to my deleted account, but I insisted they return it to me. The customer service representative mentioned they couldn't refund the taxes paid, but I didn't press further. They assured me it would take three weeks for the full refund to reflect, yet five weeks have passed with no sign of the reimbursement. It's disheartening to feel deceived by a reputable company like Koodo, who seems unwilling to return my money.
