Delivery Issue - Need Urgent Assistance! I am Brad Berner from [redacted] West Main Street, Richmond, IN [redacted], and I've been facing delivery problems with my newspaper order. Despite setting up a Mon-Sun delivery on Tues, May 8th after receiving weekend papers, I have yet to receive my daily paper. Despite making daily calls last week, with assurance from different representatives each time, the issue remains unresolved. Shockingly, I did not receive the Saturday edition as well, which was previously delivered. I reached out to my delivery person, Billy Dennis, on Saturday, May 19th, at [redacted], who mentioned not being informed to restart the delivery. This ongoing issue continues to persist after 11 days and multiple attempts to resolve it, causing significant inconvenience. Kindly assist me in rectifying this at your earliest convenience. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I resumed the newspaper delivery for my mother on July 3, [redacted]. However, there was a bank issue resulting in missed papers on July 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th after receiving one on July 4th. Despite my mother being a loyal customer of about 60 years, the automated phone line couldn't locate her account. I have been attempting to contact customer service multiple times, facing long wait times of 8+ minutes. It seems like I keep getting put on hold by the representative. I just want to resolve this issue, but the handling of this matter is frustrating. This level of service wouldn't be acceptable in my line of work. Thank you, Robin S., daughter.

I am Sharon Thomas, a survivor of sexual assault. I am grateful for the support your team provides to victims like me. I too need your assistance to share my experience. I was sexually assaulted by a female physical therapist named Kimberly Long at OMG Hospital (Presence). Despite reporting it to my doctor, Emily, she did not take action and I was banned from the hospital for speaking up. The Urbana Police took three months to question the therapist, and I was wrongly arrested in [redacted] in front of multiple officers. The Urbana Police Department's conduct lacks integrity. I have exhausted options by contacting the Inspector General's office and the Department of Justice without success. Please assist me in sharing my story. Thank you, Sharon Thomas.

We are keen to support local journalism and recently renewed our subscription to the Star after relocating. However, since restarting delivery post-move, we have encountered consistent issues with the service. Our subscription for Thursday to Sunday delivery has not been honored, with sporadic deliveries like one Sunday, a few Thursdays, or multiple copies of the same day within a week. This week alone, we received four copies on Thursday and nothing else. For the monthly fee of 19.99, receiving only about six papers a month is unsatisfactory. We are opting out and kindly request a partial refund for the lack of service. We have decided to purchase the Sunday paper at our convenience moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, (G) at [redacted] Sunpoint Circle #[redacted] Indianapolis, IN [redacted]

I want to share my experience with Robert Workman, who works as an independent contractor for the Indianapolis Star. I met him a year ago when I was in a tough spot living on the streets in Indy. Initially, I was grateful when he offered me a job delivering newspapers in Greenfield. However, our relationship took a negative turn when he made advances towards me despite being married. He eventually became controlling, isolating me from my support system and getting involved in substance abuse. His behavior became aggressive and he even carried a shotgun in his truck. I'm Jojo Conger, and although I'm hesitant to share my contact information, I felt it was important to speak out about my unsettling experience with him. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As a loyal subscriber to Indy Star for well over a decade, I recently received a bill with unexpected charges for alterations to delivery services, rate increases, and unexplained fees for "premium editions." Despite my attempts to contact customer service, I endured a wait time of 1 hour and 41 minutes only to be disconnected. When I called to cancel my subscription, I faced another hold. Frustrated by the poor service and confusing billing, I urgently wish to terminate my account. Unfortunately, I could not find an online option to cancel, as the website only allows subscriptions without a clear cancellation process.

For years now, I've been facing delivery issues and lodging complaints repeatedly, but to no avail. Despite being assured that my concerns are noted and resolved, the problems persist. Just yesterday, I once again did not receive the Sunday paper on time and had to call in before finally receiving it in the afternoon. To my dismay, the TV section was missing, which is particularly frustrating as it's the main reason I purchase the Sunday paper. The carrier and manager in charge of these deliveries never seem to rectify the situation or even return my calls. It's been an ongoing problem with no resolution in sight. Considering my loyalty as a Star customer for 40 years, I believe it's time for a change. The area manager and carrier must be replaced by individuals who can fulfill their responsibilities competently on a weekly basis.

I signed up for a newspaper subscription from a student selling them for a school trip with the understanding it was a promotional deal for 3 months. However, my account continued to be charged even after the initial period, leading to financial difficulties due to the unexpected increases. I tried to cancel multiple times without success using the provided phone number. My account was charged $[redacted].11 plus a $36.00 NSF fee after the promised end date of 5/11/18. I am still receiving newspapers and urgently request the service be canceled. I do not want any further automatic payments from my account ending in #[redacted]. Additionally, I seek assistance in addressing the unauthorized charges incurred after the initial subscription period. If I had known this would happen, I would not have subscribed in the first place; my intention was simply to support a student's fundraising efforts.

We moved to our new apartment at [redacted] Philip Drive, Noblesville [redacted] on January 7. Despite transferring our paper, we haven't received any issues since leaving our old address at [redacted] Ontario Court, Apartment C, Noblesville [redacted]. I've been calling daily to restart the paper delivery to Robert G. at the new location. Various representatives assured me it would be resolved, guaranteeing next-day delivery. However, two weeks have passed without any paper reaching us. We receive both the daily paper and the gazette. I was promised a $25 credit for the missed deliveries and no charges for the past two weeks. After multiple lengthy phone calls, the issue persists. I seek a solution as it's frustrating to navigate this without direct contact. Your prompt attention to this matter is sincerely appreciated, and I anticipate the paper's delivery tomorrow.

I have not received the Sunday Star newspaper again today. There have been numerous delivery issues over the past two months, and I am tired of being told that the problem will be looked into. Please, just fix the problem. I also did not receive the issue of the Sunday Star on February 11th, despite notifying you via email and not receiving any response or credit. Today, I did not receive the paper once more. I subscribed to have the Star delivered daily, so please address and resolve this issue promptly. Thank you. - J. William Corey - [redacted] Holes Crossing, Crawfordsville, In [redacted].

I am frustrated with the repeated issue of my newspaper not being delivered properly by your carrier. The papers are consistently being left at the end of the hallway, far from my unit, along with other floors in my building experiencing the same problem. Despite addressing this with you last month and being promised a resolution, the problem persists. I did not sign up for home delivery to have to search for my paper daily. I request a written credit for the missing papers and demand immediate action to rectify this ongoing issue. Failure to address this may lead me to escalate this matter further. Please contact me promptly to explain your plan of action.

I would prefer to communicate with someone from the Indianapolis Star office regarding billing matters. I am managing my 93-year-old Mother's account. In March, her service was changed to Thursdays and Sundays to accommodate her budget. The quoted amount was $16 per month with an additional $3 for 3-4 months a year. However, she has been charged an extra $3 in March, April, May, and June, which customer service indicated would continue for the year. It is disheartening to discover these continuous overcharges and to have been misled over the phone. This situation reflects poorly on the company's commitment to its customers. Given my history with the company, having been a carrier and worked in customer service for over 31 years, I expect a prompt response to address this issue urgently.

I'm disappointed to report that once again, the newspaper has failed to be delivered. I am reaching out on behalf of my 91-year-old mother, a loyal subscriber to the Indy Star for over 15 years. Today's missing paper is unacceptable and I am frustrated that I couldn't speak directly to a customer service representative when I called to address the issue. The offer of receiving today's paper tomorrow is not satisfactory as my mother enjoys her routine of reading the latest news each morning. Her details are as follows: [redacted] Andrews BLVD Plainfield, IN [redacted], account under Dorothy Starks, phone number [redacted]. I can be reached at [redacted] if needed. I kindly request her Monday paper be delivered promptly on Monday. Thank you, Sue ([redacted])

I am disappointed that my 91-year-old mother, Dorothy Starks, did not receive her Indy Star paper today. She has been a loyal subscriber for over 15 years at [redacted] Andrews Blvd, Plainfield, IN, [redacted]. I called customer service on her behalf, but only managed to request a delivery for tomorrow, which is unacceptable. Dorothy enjoys reading the current news every morning, and receiving yesterday's paper won't suffice. Please rectify this promptly and ensure she receives today's Monday paper on Monday. You can contact me, Sue, at [redacted] for any further assistance. Thank you.

I am a resident at Greenbriar Village and I have noticed that the papers have not been delivered lately. This ongoing issue of missed deliveries has affected several long-time subscribers in our community. To resolve this, I kindly request that the newspapers are individually bagged with the apartment number clearly labeled on the bag. I have contacted via phone and email multiple times regarding my wet paper. I am requesting that it be placed in my mailbox with a newspaper container as I have mentioned before. The repeated occurrences of receiving a wet paper have become frustrating. Kindly pass along to the delivery manager to ensure my paper is placed properly. This morning, on 12/09/19, my paper was wet again, forcing me to purchase another one. Please credit my account for the inconvenience. Thank you, Herman K.

Several residents at Greenbriar Village Assisted Living, including my mother, are experiencing issues with newspaper delivery. On December 14th, three copies of the Saturday Star were delivered instead of one per household. In the past, on December 8th for instance, my mother received multiple copies of the Saturday Star but missed her Sunday paper entirely. Since moving in on September 17th, she has never received the TV guide, leading us to cancel that subscription. Despite multiple calls from both my mother and the facility, as well as reports made on the website account, the problem persists. These senior citizens are on fixed incomes and rely on their newspapers; all they seek is consistent daily delivery.

We did not receive the paper again this morning. Despite reporting inconsistent delivery for several weeks now, the issue persists. While we did receive the paper on Sunday, December 22nd, the TV Guide was missing. I was informed it would be delivered on Monday, December 23rd, but it was not. This recurring problem indicates a serious issue with the delivery service. Kindly review our delivery records and address this with the delivery person. Thank you, George Lanier, [redacted] Longleat Rd. Indianapolis, IN [redacted].

My 95-year-old mother struggles to walk and requires her paper to be delivered to the front door. Unfortunately, with a recent change in the delivery person, the paper is now being left outside her garage, down a slope, where she has previously fallen and broken her ankle. This poses a significant danger to her safety, and despite numerous calls to address the issue, it remains unresolved. Several other elderly neighbors are also facing similar challenges with their deliveries. The lack of consideration for these circumstances is causing frustration and could lead to cancellations of subscriptions. If this persists, I will have no choice but to take legal action to ensure my mother's safety and well-being.

For the past 49 years, I have been a dedicated subscriber to The Star at [redacted] Washington Blvd, albeit recently encountering delivery issues. Despite my residence being far from 71st Street, where my paper has sometimes erroneously been left, I pay for premium delivery to my front door. Regrettably, over the past few weeks, there have been multiple instances of missed deliveries or misplacement. Despite contacting the call center and speaking with several courteous staff members who assured me of resolving the issue with district managers and carriers, the problem persists. I am seeking assistance from the Director of Circulation to address and rectify this ongoing delivery problem promptly. The time and effort spent on resolving this matter have been excessive. Thank you for your cooperation.
