Hello, I am Victor Sneed, and I recently worked for Trolley Tours of America in Boston. During my paid training, I unfortunately contracted walking pneumonia. I informed my instructors, provided a doctor's note, and was absent from training for two weeks. Regrettably, I was terminated due to this extended absence. The company is now interested in rehiring me, but I am unable to resubmit my application on Indeed. The platform only shows my initial submission date of January 31, [redacted]. Can Indeed assist me in resubmitting my application promptly? For any help, please reach out to me at [redacted].

I recently applied for a personal assistant job. The employer, claiming to have a hearing impairment, requested me to prove my capabilities by completing a task involving depositing a check he sent me. The employer instructed me to keep $[redacted] for myself, shop for a printer, and await further directions once the check cleared. Despite his assurance of a 24-hour clearing process, the bank placed a hold on the check. When I questioned this, the employer suggested I cover the amount and he would reimburse me later, which I declined. Upon contacting him again, he seemed evasive and when the bank later informed me the check was rejected for payment, I confronted him about the situation. I hope this matter can be resolved to prevent others from falling victim to this scheme. Additionally, I have applied for another personal assistant job and am wary of encountering a similar scam. Kindly investigate this issue to prevent further exploitation.

I'm inquiring if screening is conducted for posters. I've been offered a position as a personal chauffeur by Ken M. to drive his wife and son starting April 1, [redacted]. Ken plans to send a $[redacted].00 check, $[redacted] for an unnamed Agency (capitalized by Ken), and the rest as my weekly salary. Despite feeling initially positive about the opportunity, my concerns heightened when Ken avoided addressing specific questions about his family. His non-transparent responses have raised red flags for me. I've already contacted Ken to prepare the $[redacted] check for the Agency and remaining payment through PayPal, but I am still awaiting a response. Any assistance in verifying this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I am dissatisfied with the way my resume was formatted. I have completed high school, university, and gained professional experience, yet the resume makes me appear like a student seeking entry-level employment. This misrepresentation undermines the years of hard work and investment I have put into my education and career. The interviewers treated me as if I were uneducated and desperate for any job. This experience has been frustrating, and I feel let down by the service. Unfortunately, there is no phone number to contact for direct complaints. I regret creating an account with this service, especially since my resume is now public, and I cannot delete it without access to the original email address associated with the account. My name is Cassandra Ordalus, and I am 38 years old. It is unacceptable to toy with someone's professional reputation in this manner. Justice will prevail.

To Whom It May Concern,
I have some concerns to address. Firstly, I was contacted by someone claiming to be Justin Petersann, the Asst. Regional VP at Fire & Life Safety America, using the email [redacted] Despite his claims, there is no one by that name working at FLSA, raising suspicions of a potential scam. Secondly, I did not authorize my resume to be posted on Indeed and would like to ensure it is not there and, if it is, to have it removed immediately. Thirdly, I am encountering issues with logging into my account. Lastly, I cannot locate the results of multiple assessments I have completed. The lack of a customer service phone number is concerning and raises questions about the platform's support.
Thank you.

About three months ago, I signed up for Indeed VIP for $29.99. Despite canceling my subscription before the deadline and requesting a refund due to dissatisfaction, $29.99 was still deducted from my account. Last week, a third deduction of $29.99 occurred, which I disputed with my bank. However, the deduction persists. Please refund the three $29.99 deductions and promptly cancel my subscription, or I may need to escalate this matter further. I await your response.

I applied for a job through Indeed.com at a lingerie retail store in Manhattan, NY on Lex Ave. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience there. The customer service was poor, and I ended up falling inside the store and sustaining injuries. When I mentioned seeking legal help, the owner threatened me. I believe this retail store should not be allowed on Indeed.com. I prefer to stay anonymous because of the threat, but it's important for others to know about this store and its unethical owners so that they can avoid similar mistreatment. While the owners might seem charming, it's best to be cautious as there could be issues if others choose to work there.

I applied for a different job through another staffing company, and they mentioned they couldn't offer me a position because of my current affiliation with your agency. Despite being with your company for a while now, I have yet to secure a job. This situation is limiting my options with other companies as I am still linked to you. The emails I receive have forms to fill out, but when I attempt to complete them, I face various issues. Additionally, I am receiving multiple scam calls on my phone as a result. This situation is frustrating. My email is David Smith 10 11 64 @gmail.com. Kindly assist.

I recently applied for a job through Indeed with Corzak Pressure Washer in Welshpool. I had an initial trial shift, and despite putting in a full 12 hours of work, I received minimal feedback and interaction from the supervisors. Eventually, I was informed there was no more work available. The situation seemed suspicious to me as another new worker left early, and I suspect they might be taking advantage of people for free labor. It's concerning and I'm considering reporting this to the authorities. Hopefully, I can get some advice on how to proceed. Thank you. - Winston Watkins

I submitted an application through your website for a company. They collected my personal details like SSN, driver's license, address, and date of birth. After working for them for a month, I have not received my payment. The company has now disappeared. I attempted to email them, but the messages bounced back, and their phones are out of service. I am unsure about what has happened to my personal information or what they might do with it. I am seeking assistance on the next steps to take in this situation. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I recently completed a Data Entry Clerk assessment and later applied for a job that required the same test. When selecting to use my previous result, I noticed that the assessment is now listed twice on my profile. The first one shows "Highly Proficient" in Data Entry Clerk, and the second one shows "Proficient" in Data Entry without the Clerk title. I also see another entry for Data Entry Clerk, marked as "Highly Proficient." Although I do not recall taking the Data Entry assessment, it indicates it was completed in 2 days, making me wonder if I opened it accidentally and left it idle or started it and closed the page. As the job application requested a Data Entry assessment, I would like the opportunity to retake it if possible.

I am encountering issues with my Indeed account. I believe it should be linked to my Gmail account, [redacted], but I am having trouble accessing it. Although I initiated a password reset, I am still unable to log in as it keeps indicating that the password and/or email account are incorrect. Strangely, it appears to be associated with my AOL account instead. When attempting to use my AOL email, it states there is no account. Furthermore, when viewing job postings today, instead of showing the description, I only see colored dots. I am also unable to upload a new resume. I tried to reach out to Indeed via email without success, and I rely on their platform for local job opportunities. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Matthew Hammond.

I recently submitted my application to Envoy. They swiftly requested pictures of my car, insurance, and registration, along with a background check and drug test. After ensuring my liability coverage, I advanced to the final stage and received an offer. As I prepared to sign the contract and begin orientation, I reached out to inquire about important details such as workman's comp and liability, as well as to seek clarity on any potential fees and the lengthy contract terms. Despite maintaining a positive and polite attitude, my recruiter unexpectedly informed me via text, mere minutes later, that they had decided not to proceed. After completing all the necessary steps like the drug test and providing personal information, it is disappointing that they changed their decision due to my legitimate questions. I feel let down by their sudden lack of transparency and commitment. My experience has left me feeling apprehensive about their business practices.

I have encountered numerous scammers and learned to identify them thanks to online dating and various websites. Through this experience, I have developed skills in tracking down scammers' phone locations and countries. If you have a team or department dedicated to this, I am interested in contributing my expertise for fair compensation. Solving this issue mutually benefits us both - I am seeking a reliable job, and you require someone to address this problem. I am dedicated to this cause and willing to assist. In the past, I have aided friends in identifying scammers on Calgary's buy-and-sell platforms. With a passion for computers, a keen analytical mind, and a knack for solving puzzles, I am committed to seeing tasks through. This opportunity allows me to help while earning an income, making it especially rewarding. Furthermore, this work can be performed remotely. Thank you for considering my offer. Carly C.

I am very concerned about a company that contacted me claiming they found my resume on Indeed. I have many red flags regarding the company's hiring process. The company in question is Wilmer International Limited based in Singapore. They offered a Customer Service Rep position with a wage of $36.27 per hour and a paid 2-week training for $26 per hour. The interview conducted through the Google Hangout App seemed suspicious with unusual questions. They asked about my preferred payment frequency, bank, and phone provider. Following a standard set of interview questions, they declared me hired and mentioned sending a check for equipment expenses. They requested my preferences for the check name and obtained my full name, address, phone number, and email, which are all on my resume. I am unsure about the legitimacy of this company and seek advice.

I recently became aware that someone has posted negative comments about me on your platform, which is unprofessional and may be against the law. As an innocent job seeker, I rely on indeed to find a professional job, and it's concerning that someone is trying to harm my reputation using your website. I trust that indeed will not tolerate such behavior on your platform, as it could also damage your company's reputation.

A representative from your company contacted us to discuss sponsoring our job postings to attract more applicants. Despite our tight budget, we agreed to give it a try for a few days, which resulted in a $25.05 charge on July 13. Unfortunately, the outcome did not lead to any noticeable difference in the number or quality of applicants.
Unexpectedly, a few weeks later, we were billed $[redacted].42 by Indeed, but the payment was declined. Following a conversation with Brittany Johnson, it remained unclear why this charge was made since we had already sponsored a job briefly and had been charged for it. We emphasized our dissatisfaction with the unauthorized charge and requested to have it reversed, but no action was taken.
Surprisingly, on August 9, the same amount was charged to our American Express without our consent. We are disputing this charge as we only utilized the sponsorship service once for a limited period. Furthermore, our posting ability was suspended without explanation.
Having been a long-time user of Indeed, this experience is disheartening. We expect a prompt resolution; otherwise, we will cease using your services and inform fellow business owners of our negative encounter..await your prompt response. Thank you.

I recently accepted a Data Entry Clerk position after a 2-hour briefing and interview with the company. However, after being asked to purchase an Amazon gift card for a Time Tracker for the laptop they were sending me, I received a suspicious check from FedEx. My bank advised me it could be a scam. When I raised my concerns and asked for clarification, the company claimed a family emergency delayed their response. I sent $50 for the gift card and now the company is unresponsive. I still have the odd check as evidence with a different name on it, raising further suspicion. I tried reaching out via email but have received no response. It seems like others might encounter similar issues with this company in the future.

I require assistance in finding my resume in your system. I aim to pull it up, edit, and make corrections, as well as use it to apply for positions received via Indeed and have it sent to potential employers. Last evening, before facing the mentioned issues, I managed to locate my resume, enabling me to update it. However, when I tried to save the changes, the system put my resume into Private Mode, preventing further actions. Kindly provide guidance to resolve this issue and access the appropriate section to log in and edit my resume. Thank you for your help.

I recently posted a job ad for Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator on InDeed on September 18th, which was 5 days ago. I mistakenly selected "sponsored," which resulted in automatic billing to my Visa credit card ending in '[redacted]. The invoice number is [redacted]5 for $[redacted].58, covering 4 days of posting at $[redacted] per day. I did not anticipate these costs and did not receive any warnings during the posting process. I have closed the posting to prevent further charges and request that no additional charges be made. I am seeking a refund for the charges already billed. Moving forward, I am comfortable with the regular posting fees of around $45-$50 for unsponsored ads. If this is your standard practice, I will not use your service in the future. Please contact me, Mike G., at 1 [redacted] in B.C., Canada.
