I have noticed a charge on our account from Indeed which we believed we were only using during our time with Recruit Savvy. The owner of Gomerdinger & Associates is requesting a refund for the recent charge of $[redacted] as we have not utilized the services. I was informed that our account has been placed on hold with Indeed. Do we simply need to wait to avoid further charges? I am attempting to update my email address from [redacted] to [redacted] on the system. Even though the system lets me change the email, I've forgotten my password because it's been a while. I've tried updating the password three times, but the system won't accept it, which is preventing me from updating my email. How can I resolve this issue and successfully update my email address? I recently realized that my Indeed.com account was not deleted as I thought. There is a resume still visible with incorrect dates and numerous spelling errors that I did not create or post. This resume is not mine and is wrongly set to public view. Additionally, I have discovered that there are duplicate accounts linked to both of my email addresses, although I only intended to have one account associated with one of the emails. I urgently request assistance to have this false resume removed from public access and to address the issue of multiple accounts. Please reach out to me promptly to rectify this matter. Thank you.

I have been submitting summer job applications since April without any issues, but two days ago, I encountered a problem with the "apply now" button on job listings on Indeed. Typically, when I click on the button using my MacBook, the button darkens briefly, but now it does not redirect me to the company's website or page. Surprisingly, I can still apply for positions that have the "apply on company site" button. I am seeking guidance on how to fix this problem. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I have been utilizing Indeed as a Freelance Recruiter for a few years. Recently, I encountered a situation where I had to use the platform more frequently than usual. However, today I discovered that I have been suspended from contacting candidates while still being able to post jobs and pay my subscription fee. I filled out the form they provided upon notification, although I only learned of the suspension when attempting a search. I am trying to reach out to an officer at Indeed. Indeed has been crucial for me in finding quality employment quickly. How can I increase the chances of getting selected for jobs? I try to filter through the jobs diligently as I know Indeed has troubleshooters who need not go through 32 jobs a week. I typically select 3 to 10 jobs when I am in dire need of work. I am receiving job postings that are unrelated to my search. Moreover, the city listed in the email notifications does not correspond to the actual location of the job. This issue has been ongoing for months. I am frustrated with the lack of accuracy in your listings and the poor communication from the temp agencies you work with. Despite setting up appointments with Terra Staffing Group, they have failed to follow up as promised. I have noticed numerous discrepancies where the city mentioned in the details differs from the heading. It would be beneficial for you to employ proofreaders to address these inconsistencies.

I have a job posting on Indeed and have encountered an issue with rejecting resumes, specifically one from Farwa R. that I do not want to be charged for. After rejecting the resume, the website is not allowing me to proceed. Unfortunately, this has occurred with a second resume as well. Given the company's reputation for overbilling, I am concerned if this recurring error is intentional. I have reached out to their help center, which mentioned a response within 24 hours, but the billing period for these resumes may expire before then (billed after 72 hours if not deleted). My account is locked, probably due to being linked to Yahoo, which also had security issues. It requires two-step verification, which I opted out of as it is not helpful. Despite changing my password, it still insists on using an old phone number for verification. I've spent a day trying to get help without success. I'm not an employee, but fixing this issue promptly would be appreciated.

I wanted to bring to your attention a scam I encountered with a company called SCA Health through a job listing on Indeed. Despite promising interviews and an offer letter that seemed legitimate, they raised red flags by not sending necessary paperwork and suggesting a suspicious check for equipment purchase. Recognizing the scam, I sought advice from a friend at a local bank, who confirmed my suspicions. Upon informing SCA Health via text about my concerns and impending bank visit, they hastily advised me to shred the check. It is important to be cautious of such scams when dealing with potential employers.

I recently applied for an at-home transcription job on your website. After expressing my interest, I was contacted by a woman who claimed to be in charge. She directed me to another individual for testing and interviews, which spanned over three days. I diligently completed all necessary employment forms and received a contract mentioning Adecco, a reputable temp and direct hire company. However, red flags arose when I was asked to deposit a check for supplies, indicating fraud. My checking account was compromised as a result. I want to alert you to this issue as others may fall victim to similar scams that are exploiting your platform. This experience has been incredibly stressful for me.

Dear Forum Members, I want to share my unfortunate experience with an employment scam I encountered through a job listing on this platform. I applied for a temporary job at Thermorex RAS de Boulogne in France on June 29, [redacted], and received a fraudulent email instructing me to deposit a check of [redacted] euros for account creation and work clothes. I fell victim to this scam and used the funds as instructed, only to realize later that the check was stolen. I hold the website partially accountable as I have been a regular user for two months without any issues before this incident. I believed the site to be safe with legitimate job postings. I have taken legal action against the website and the fake company for allowing such fraudulent activities to take place on a supposedly reputable platform. I have informed my bank about the situation and attached a copy of my complaint, the job offer, and the recruiter's email for reference. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I attempted to sign in to my Indeed account to delete it, but I was prompted to enter an authentication code sent to my email. However, I did not receive the email in my inbox or spam folder, and the sender was not on my blocked list. I tried to contact Indeed, but none of their options were helpful unless I was already logged in. Furthermore, there is no way to speak to a customer service representative via phone or email. The only available option is the "still have questions" link, which leads to an email form where there is no way to leave my email address for a response. This website is incredibly frustrating with no real assistance provided.

I have been trying to close two job postings for the past three days. However, when I log into my employer account, it shows that no jobs are posted. Despite this, people are still sending their resumes through Indeed, indicating that the positions are still open. I requested three days ago for Indeed to close both ads and inform me of any outstanding balance, but I have not received any response or confirmation. The two job postings that needed to be closed by 08/11/23 are for a Reception/School Coordinator position and an LPN/RN position to teach online classes at NAC school. My main email address is [redacted], and I have another one, [redacted], which I rarely use. I would appreciate confirmation that the ads have been removed and information on the balance due for each ad.

I am an employer with a job posted on Indeed. The listing is sponsored, and charges for interested applicants are billed after 72 hours. However, I am being charged for applicants who do not attend or notify me of their absence, which is unfair as they confirmed their interview. I recently attended a local job fair fully prepared to undergo a pre-interview physical examination, as requested. However, I was informed that my physical disabilities made me unsuitable for the position, despite no mention of this limitation on their website. I believe this is discriminatory, and I intend to lodge a complaint with the American Disabilities Act. The experience left me shocked and embarrassed. With no current source of income, the time, fuel, and money I expended to attend this event now feel wasted. I had hoped that my qualifications, as highlighted in my cover letter and resume, would be the basis of consideration. This situation has left me thoroughly dismayed.
