I was recently arrested for driving with suspended plates due to lack of insurance. My vehicle got impounded, and I was informed that I needed to lift the suspension and get insurance to retrieve my car. When I tried to get the release paperwork, I was surprised by additional fees I had to pay. I later found out I should have been aware of these fees beforehand. Despite spending money on insurance and registration, I couldn't get the paperwork until the extra fees were paid. I questioned why I wasn't informed about these fees earlier but didn't receive a clear answer. What would be the best course of action for me to resolve this situation?

As an insurance agent, I have a customer who is getting a new auto policy but has an SR-22 requirement. The customer doesn't have her case number or CFR number. Her previous insurance company failed to provide proof of SR-22 or Liability Insurance to the State. Additionally, she has moved since the incident and cannot locate any of the documentation, and her license is currently suspended. I need to find her Case Number or SR-22 Number to proceed. Is there a website or link I can use to locate this information? Thanks.

Hello, my 87-year-old mother misplaced her car title during our move from Illinois to Arizona. We require the car title for registration purposes; otherwise, we may face fines and be unable to drive legally. I attempted to complete the online application multiple times without success. I am requesting assistance either over the phone or by receiving a paper application by mail. I hope to speak with a person to ensure this matter is resolved promptly. Thank you for your help.

Upon visiting the DMV at [redacted] N LaSalle, my experience was swift. However, after being served, I was informed I couldn't sit in a section reserved for those awaiting assistance, despite being handicapped. This left me, a 67-year-old Pace paratransit user, with no choice but to wait outside without access to a public restroom. I respect the rules but felt uneasy standing despite a sign indicating no standing or stopping. I ultimately leaned on the building for support until my ride arrived, all the while feeling discomfort due to the situation.
