Hello, I am Jon Francis Thompson. This summer, I am traveling to Europe with my wife, Suzanne Mary Chester, and my two adult daughters, Zoe Chester-Thompson and Sofie Claire Chester Thompson. I had booked a flight with Iberia (flight IB [redacted]) for us to fly from Dublin to Rome on June 30th with booking reference YBESU3. The original flight from Dublin to Madrid/Barajas was scheduled to depart at 11.05 am on June 30th and our connecting flight to Rome (IB [redacted]) was set for departure at 3.55 pm. However, I received an email from Iberia a few days ago informing me that the Dublin flight (IB [redacted]) is now rescheduled to depart at 1.40 pm, which will cause us to miss our connecting flight to Rome. I'm reaching out to address this issue and ensure that my family (including myself, Suzanne, Zoe, and Sofie) can still travel from Dublin to Rome on June 30th without additional layovers or complications. Thank you for your assistance.

On March 28th, [redacted], I purchased two tickets with Iberia for a Premium Economy flight from New York to Alicante with a connecting flight in Madrid. However, the agent charged me incorrectly and insisted I pay separately for the Madrid to Alicante leg in Euros. Despite multiple calls to Iberia, I have yet to receive a refund for the overcharge. The tickets were reissued correctly on March 29th. Our Locator is NR68H3 under the names Antonio C. and Paloma C. American Express has billed me $[redacted].54 plus a foreign transaction fee. This situation has been very inconvenient as each call lasts over 45 minutes, with agents advising me to call back. I am a loyal Iberia customer for over 40 years and hope for a prompt resolution. Sincerely, Paloma C.

I need to contact Iberia about a complaint with a British Airways flight I had. My husband and I were on Iberia flight IB6801 from Madrid to Tokyo on April 22, [redacted], with BA tickets. There was confusion with the seat numbers as some seats were for Iberia and others for BA passengers. My husband, who walks with a stick, had to move to the front of the plane while this issue was sorted. We were eventually assigned seat 44 instead of our original 28, causing a one-hour delay. It was frustrating and tiring. I believe Iberia should have anticipated this problem beforehand to avoid the inconvenience. Looking forward to a prompt response. Thank you, E. McNeil.

Two days ago, I attempted to book a flight from Alicante to Ibiza for October 8-12, [redacted], for two people. Unfortunately, the booking did not go through as we received an error message stating, "Ha alcanzado el numero maximo de intentos. Por favor pongase en contacto con su entidad." After several unsuccessful tries, my bank attempted the booking too, but they were unsuccessful as well. Eventually, they contacted a call center, which took the booking over the phone. However, the booking cost increased from [redacted].20 Euros to [redacted].20 Euros due to the phone booking. The call center advised us to reach out to the airline to claim the 40.00 Euros difference, as it was not our fault. We have documentation to support this. Kindly respond within 48 hours. Our reference number is WRV3WS. - Alan and Gillian Lindop

One of my clients, Diana A. and Angelo R., with locator #RZCCMX, were scheduled to travel on IB#[redacted] on 8/16 and IB#[redacted] on 8/22. Their Rome to Greece round trip tickets cost $[redacted].21 USD each, and they seek a refund for the canceled flights as advised by Felipe from Iberia reservations. I kindly request your assistance before canceling the booking. Thank you for your prompt attention. Regards, Pat E.

Hello, I purchased a ticket from Milan (MPX) to Los Angeles (LAX) via Barcelona on CheapOair.com for a flight with Iberia airline on April 27, [redacted]. However, upon receiving my booking confirmation, I noticed that the first flight was operated by Vueling Airlines and the second by Iberia for LEVEL. Unfortunately, the first flight faced a two-hour delay, causing me to miss the connecting flight to Los Angeles. Despite receiving a ticket for a new flight two days later, I faced issues with the class change and accommodations in Barcelona. I encountered difficulties with the vouchers provided for the hotel, resulting in an uncomfortable stay. I have made a reimbursement request to Iberia for expenses incurred during this inconvenience, totaling €[redacted].7, but have not received any response to date. My claim reference number is P[redacted]0-[redacted]6. Sincerely, Joseph K.

Regarding Reference SDQIB64099, I handed over our baby stroller to an agent in Madrid with the assurance that it would be awaiting us in Santo Domingo. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the stroller was missing. The flight occurred on June 23, [redacted]. A Property Irregularity Report with case number E[redacted]5-[redacted]1 was completed. However, I have not received any updates in over three months. I have checked the Iberia website but found no current information. The total cost of the lost stroller and its replacement amounts to $[redacted].21. I kindly request prompt payment to be sent to Viktoriya Shevtsova c/o Captain Carl Sputh at the provided address in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida [redacted]. For further communication, please use the email below. While I have shown patience, I believe the lengthy delay in resolving this matter is unjust. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Subject: Complaint About Iberia Flight Cancellation and Service Hello, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your company. My husband and I were scheduled to fly with Iberia on flight number IB [redacted] on November 28th from Madrid to Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, our flight was canceled due to adverse weather conditions, leading to uncertainty and lack of communication. Despite being assured of updates and accommodation, the process was disorganized. After waiting for hours at the airport, we were left uninformed about the status of our flight, even when contacting Iberia for assistance. The lack of English-speaking staff and unhelpful airport personnel added to our frustration. In the end, we had to find alternative flights to reach our destination at a considerable inconvenience and expense. The overall handling of the situation was unprofessional and distressing, resulting in a loss of work time and additional costs for transportation. We are eagerly awaiting your response regarding the compensation that should be extended to us for the inconvenience caused. We look forward to a prompt resolution to this matter. Best regards, A.T.

I would like to inquire about the possibility and cost of transporting a couple of furniture pieces via the airline. The website lacks details on furniture transportation and only references "special baggage" weighing between 23 to 35 kilos, while my furniture pieces weigh around 10 kilos each, with dimensions not exceeding [redacted] in height/width/length. I am curious about the logistics of transporting furniture on the plane, the handling process, whether the airline offers packaging services, and if there's an option for home pickup. Additionally, I would appreciate information on the associated costs for each furniture item. Thank you, Elisa Seeger.

I had a Business Award Flight booked from Miami to Madrid on March 26th at 8:30 AM ET and an economy flight from Madrid to Gran Canaria on March 30th, which was canceled on the day of the flight at 1:30 PM due to my husband's medical emergency earlier that morning. I contacted an agent at IberiaPlus at 1:32 PM ET in Spanish, who confirmed a refund of 85,[redacted] Avios for the first leg for both of us minus a $25 Euro fee per person. However, only one of the flights has been refunded in Avios, with no explanation for the delay in the refund for the other flights. I called IberiaPlus again, and the agent assured me that the refund would be processed, advising me to wait 3-5 business days, which have now passed. I need clarification on whether I need to include any flight expenses in my insurance claim form for the trip and if I misunderstood the cancellation policy. I am prepared to provide medical documentation of my husband's hospitalization. I am eager to receive the refund promptly to avoid claiming it on insurance. My Iberia Plus numbers are [redacted]5 and [redacted]2. Thank you.

I am inquiring about checking in two unique pieces of baggage for my upcoming flight from Frankfurt to Seville on May 14, [redacted]. The first piece is a circular chair base that weighs approximately 42 pounds and measures 27 inches in diameter and 20 inches in height. The second piece is the sitting portion of a chair, which weighs approximately 35 pounds and has dimensions of 3.5 feet in length, 12 inches in height, and 19 inches in width. Both items are under the 23kg weight restriction. I am seeking confirmation that I can check both pieces and any specific guidelines for checking such unconventional baggage. Any guidance on how to pack or prepare these items for check-in would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

While passing through Madrid Airport Terminal 4 on May 13th, I entrusted my phone to a customer service representative for safekeeping during my transit. Unfortunately, upon my return, it seems that my phone was not kept secure as promised. I own an iPhone 7 Plus in pristine condition with a black Louis Vuitton cover. The specific representative in question is associated with Mr. Eduardo Maganto, who is employed at the Iberia VIP Lounge in FSU Terminal. Despite my efforts to reach out, no one has been responsive to my concerns. Even when I visited in person on Friday, May 17th, I was disregarded, despite assurances from a supervisor named Marisa in T4 Hall 11. I am certain that my phone was in the possession of customer services, as Eduardo Maganto had spoken to someone using my phone. I am left with no choice but to consider filing a police report regarding the incident involving customer services at T4.

I am writing on behalf of my client who bought a plane ticket from LAX to Spain in January [redacted] with reference number [redacted]93. When she arrived at the airport for her return flight on June 28, [redacted], she received a Stand By ticket due to being unable to check in online 24 hours prior. This was issued by Iberia with Negative strike Numbers 1 and 2. The overbooked flight IB8615 forced her onto a rerouted flight from Frankfurt to Madrid (LH0274) with no confirmed final destination, resulting in her purchasing an emergency ticket with another airline for around $1,[redacted]. This experience caused her distress as a solo traveler needing to get back to the U.S. for work promptly. We request a full refund of $[redacted].00 (USD), with an additional 20% for emotional damages totaling $[redacted].00 (USD). Failure to respond will lead to legal action.
