My car was repossessed this evening due to 3 missed payments without any warning. I have a payment in the mail and attempted to pay the balance online but cannot access my account. This action is distressing as I am a 71-year-old senior and now left without transportation for the entire weekend. I have no way to reach a doctor or store. The tow truck driver provided limited information and I am unsure where my car is located or how to retrieve it. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially towards an elderly individual. I will be contacting local services for Elder Abuse and Neglect in Newburyport, MA about this situation. I request my online account to be unlocked so I can settle the balance promptly. Rest assured, once this matter is resolved, I will not engage in future business with Honda and will share my experience with others. The handling of this situation was unprofessional, including the behavior of the individuals involved. I feel deeply let down and frustrated.

Today is Tuesday, and I have been unable to reach anyone at Honda Financial. However, I did manage to speak with the individual at the location where my car was towed and is currently held. I have been informed that there are storage fees accumulating while awaiting instructions from Honda on how to proceed with payment and retrieval of my vehicle. I am concerned by the lack of response from Honda, which is causing delays and additional costs. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly. I can be contacted at [redacted] I anticipate a prompt resolution as I am considering escalating this issue to my local representative and the attorney general's office. Your prompt assistance in providing the necessary information for me to retrieve my car safely is greatly appreciated.

I exchanged my lease at Gowdy Autoplex in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The dealership sent a payoff check amounting to $16,[redacted].27 via FedEx with tracking number [redacted]40 on February 16, [redacted], to Honda Financial with account # [redacted]50 and Lender Ref ID R249498. Despite this, the title has not been released to NEXT GEAR Capital. I need to know the current status of my account, the location of the title, and why there is a delay. Please contact me promptly at [redacted] to provide an update.

I purchased a new [redacted] Honda Pilot SE at Roush Honda dealership in Westerville, OH on Saturday, 4/24, and traded in my [redacted] Honda Accord. The title for the Accord was showing a lien by Honda Financial Services, which hadn't been released at the time of payoff. The dealership said they would expedite the title transfer process. However, I didn't receive a memorandum title or temporary registration documents. When I called on Monday, they said I would get it by mail in two weeks. I am concerned because they put the old plates from the Accord on the new car, but those plates are still registered to the old vehicle. I need to resolve this quickly as I am driving with plates from a different vehicle that is no longer in my possession.

I recently purchased a Honda CR-V on 05/01/[redacted]. The dealership finance person handled the loan process, and we signed all the necessary paperwork. Despite unlocking the TransUnion credit file as requested, Honda Financial Services claimed the Experian file was locked, leading to the loan rejection. Attempts to contact Honda Financial yielded long hold times with calls ending abruptly after a supposed connection. Even the online chat for Honda customer service proved unhelpful, with no financial assistance available through that channel. The dealership offered no resolution either, leaving me feeling extremely frustrated. I even attempted to contact Honda Financial Services - Canada, but unfortunately, cross-country financial inquiries were not possible. Galen

I believed I settled my bill last month. However, upon checking, I realized I missed the payment for last May. I was certain I had made the payment but now it seems it was not done. I had the flu then, so I might have been more unwell than I realized, as I distinctly remember making a call. I recorded the payment in my checkbook, but somehow it did not go through. Unfortunately, it will now be reported to the credit bureau for being over 30 days late. I understand the law requires such reporting, but I genuinely thought I had taken care of it. I have contacted the credit bureau, and they mentioned that the decision to report lies with Honda. I have worked diligently to improve my credit score to purchase a home, and this incident could significantly impact my efforts. I rectified the situation by bringing the account up to date today. I am hoping for some assistance with this matter.

I am having trouble getting in touch with someone regarding inquiries not related to lease end matters. The customer service number on my billing statement, 1-[redacted], had me waiting on hold for 30 minutes the first time I called. When I tried again today, I was on hold for another 30 minutes. Is there a different [redacted] number for customer service where a live person can assist me? I am feeling quite frustrated! I just want to talk to someone about my concerns, but it appears that this company may not prioritize customer satisfaction.

In November [redacted], I cosigned for my grandson's lease. My name is on the registration. His insurance company advised removing me because I do not have a driver's license and have never driven. I believed I was only a guarantor for the loan. While my grandson handles all payments and has excellent credit and work history, I am concerned about being named in a lawsuit due to being on the registration. I need to remove myself from it. The DMV mentioned this must be done by Honda. Can anyone assist with this process? Thank you for any guidance.

I bought a [redacted] Honda Fit in March of [redacted] from Stockton 12 Honda in Murray, Utah, with VIN JHMGE8H36DC073213. The vehicle is fully paid off since January [redacted].
In an attempt to sell the car, I misplaced the title and found out at the DMV that American Honda Finance Corporation is still mentioned on it. The DMV requires a formal statement from AHFC stating they no longer have any claim on the vehicle. I need this statement on their official letterhead, including the VIN of the car as proof.

I purchased a [redacted] Honda Civic when I was in California, but after relocating to Buffalo, New York due to my rented house being sold, I am attempting to register my car at the DMV here. The paperwork is confusing, and I'd appreciate speaking to an agent. The county clerk's office at the DMV provided me with a form that needs to be filled out. They require a copy of the out-of-state title under the leasing company's name, a letter from the owner acknowledging the use of the title for registration in New York, power of attorney for signing the registration, and a copy of the lease agreement to calculate the necessary taxes for New York State. If you could assist, please contact me at [redacted].

I recently lost my job due to COVID-19 and my car got repossessed because of missed payments. After finding a new job that pays $45,[redacted] a year, I contacted Luis at Honda Financial to resolve the issue. He requested $2,[redacted], updated documents, and full insurance coverage. Despite quickly addressing the insurance matter, my request was denied due to past missed payments and insufficient insurance coverage. I spoke with several representatives at the call center, but only Luis seemed to understand my situation. Unfortunately, the supervisor rejected my appeal even though I had the money and all the required documentation. I was unable to reach the decision-maker and had to decline the job opportunity. As someone experienced in customer service management, I value the importance of serving customers effectively. Thank you, Honda Financial. - Richard Watson, Honda owner.

Last Tuesday, my car was repossessed without any prior warning, leading me to believe it was stolen. I recently discovered that Honda was responsible for the repossession, demanding a full payment of $24,[redacted], which I am unable to afford. They have not offered me the chance to reinstate my auto loan or catch up on missed payments. I own a black [redacted] Honda Accord and am eager to settle my overdue payments and maintain a relationship with Honda. Unfortunately, Honda has expressed they are unwilling to work with me or conduct further business. If this decision is final, I am seeking a way to remove the repossession from my record. Despite being a loyal customer for several years, I feel abandoned by the lack of effort and cooperation on Honda's part. I am appealing for assistance as I find this situation to be unjust.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I reached out to HFS about two weeks ago to obtain a list of documents needed by the state of Kentucky for plate re-registration. Having moved from Illinois, the state requires specific documentation for the registration process. Despite contacting Honda Financial Service three times, I have faced utter disappointment. My plate has expired, and the year is ending soon. I am highly disappointed with the poor customer service I experienced and urgently seek resolution in this matter.
Thank you!

I missed a payment due to my recent move but promptly paid in full, including January's installment. Throughout my history of owning three Hondas, I have always been a punctual payer without any delays. Luckily, I have enrolled in easy pay to prevent such oversights in the future. Considering my excellent track record, I kindly request the removal of the delinquent report from my credit history.

To the Honda Financial Team,
I am reaching out to share my thoughts on the new website design. I am not a fan of the changes made to the Honda Financial website. The navigation is more complex, and I miss seeing the remaining balance on my vehicle displayed on the homepage after logging in, a feature I found very useful. Currently, I can only access this information by viewing the statement or simulating an additional payment. Unfortunately, I can only see the statement from the previous month (December) when my January payment was deducted yesterday. The new website layout is harder to navigate, and it seems to lack the convenient information that was previously available on the main screen. On the old site, all the necessary details, including my remaining balance, were easily accessible upon login. Now, I have to click through more links to access important information and still cannot view my balance easily. I would appreciate it if Honda could reconsider reverting to the old layout or adding the vehicle balance back to the homepage for convenience. Thank you.

I recently relocated from SC to NC and need Honda Financial's assistance to provide required information to the NCDMV for registration. Despite the NCDMV sending two requests to Honda over 5 weeks ago, no response has been received. Unable to drive my Honda Accord with expired SC plates, I am stuck paying my lease without vehicle use.
Attempts to contact Honda Financial have been futile due to long wait times resulting in disconnections. Local Honda dealers have proven unhelpful, leaving me without a solution. Despite efforts to reach Honda via phone and letter, the situation remains unresolved.
I urgently require Honda to communicate the necessary registration details to the NCDMV to resolve this issue promptly.

I previously contacted you regarding a tainted title on my daughter's CR-V due to an incorrect odometer statement. After speaking with someone in the Titles Department and sending the corrected statement, months have passed with no resolution. The original title remains at the Washington DOL office pending this correction. It is crucial to reach the individual who can address this matter promptly. BECU, the lender, requires the title. Until the title issue stemming from Honda's incorrect odometer statement is rectified, we cannot sell or trade the vehicle. The VIN ends in [redacted], and my mother was the original lessor with a power of attorney on file. I signed all necessary documents as POA to transfer the vehicle to my daughter, who then refinanced through BECU. Urgent assistance is needed as this has lingered unresolved for almost a year.

I am frustrated with the situation regarding my lease with your company. Initially, everything was going well with all my payments made on time. Suddenly, I am facing $[redacted] in fees. Honda states that tolling companies billed these fees because your company did not pay my original tolls. I expect that as a leasing company, you should handle the original toll payments, which typically range from $2 to $18 each. However, Honda failed to pay the tolls, resulting in violations and additional fees of $[redacted] for me. Despite my efforts to address this issue with different team members, I did not receive any assistance, leading to a continuous increase in fees. This experience has been stressful, and it has caused me to reconsider leasing from your company in the future. I urge you to rectify this situation by acknowledging the tolls that were not paid promptly, thereby preventing excessive fees for me.

I visited Hoen Honda Motors in Carlsbad to check out the [redacted] Honda Accords on sale. Salesman Sam showed me a few new models. When I shared my credit score, Sam requested my social security number. I declined, explaining I wasn't ready to make a purchase. Sam assured me it would only be kept on file at Hoen Honda. Surprisingly, I later received a notification from Honda Financial Services about being denied a loan. I had clearly stated my SSN was not for credit approval. This unauthorized use of my information affected my credit score negatively. I need this issue resolved promptly and removed from my credit report. This experience has left me disappointed and unwilling to buy or recommend Hoen Motors due to mishandling of personal data.

I recently got a notice from the Texas Comptroller about unclaimed funds from Honda Financial related to a lease I had in [redacted] and completed in [redacted]. The unclaimed amount corresponds to the final lease payment. Despite never receiving any prior notification from Honda Financial about this, I now have to provide my driver's license, social security card, and documentation from Honda to claim the funds. It seems excessive to have to go through all this trouble for money that should have been refunded to me directly. I have been at the same address for 40 years. It would be more appropriate for Honda to return my money and deal with the Comptroller themselves, as this mistake originated from them. I believe Honda can afford to wait for their reimbursement, considering their financial standing compared to mine. This issue should be rectified by Honda, as it was their mistake in the first place.
