I purchased this vacation from Dan Ambrose on October 5th. During the purchase, he mentioned that the presentation could take place in the hotel or even in our room if needed. Unfortunately, my husband has Parkinson's and struggles with walking, sometimes falling. Now, the resort requires us to attend the presentation there, which he cannot manage. Given these circumstances, I believe I should be allowed to cancel my booking and receive a full refund.

I made a hotel reservation through hotels.com using my clubcard vouchers for a Christmas party. I initially booked a non-refundable room for the 15th but have now learned that the party is on the 8th. Hotels.com cannot modify the booking without your consent. I saved my vouchers to ensure a worry-free night after the party and would like to reschedule rather than cancel. Although the exact room I booked is unavailable, I am willing to pay an additional fee to make the change. I hope we can coordinate with hotels.com to adjust the booking accordingly. Thank you.

During a recent stay at Holiday Inn Express in Simi Valley, California, my friends and I encountered harassment from an employee which made us feel unsafe. I promptly contacted customer service to file a report but encountered difficulties. The employee, named Anthony, was uncooperative when the representative called to address the issue. Despite filing a report and being promised a resolution within 48 hours, I have not received an update. Even after emailing the manager, Marcelo Bustos, and providing the report number, I have not heard back. The mishandling of the situation has been disappointing. The lack of communication, apology, or refund for the distressing incident is unacceptable. I am sharing this experience in the hope that it will be addressed promptly and appropriately at the Holiday Inn Express in Simi Valley.

I have attached the receipt from the Salina Kansas location showing double charges upon check-in and 7 hours later. I contacted them about the issue and was promised a manager would call me, which has not happened. After calling again upon my arrival, I was assured someone would reach out shortly, but I have not heard back. I plan to book another room through hotels.com and will follow up with a phone call tomorrow. I will hold off on posting on Google and Facebook until I speak with a capable individual. [redacted]

During our stay at the Holiday Inn with my family, on July 10, my mother slipped on the hotel stairs due to a puddle of water on the top step without a wet floor sign. She fell down three stairs, injuring her back and getting a cut. Despite seeking help at the front desk to fill out an accident report, we received no assistance. This incident has left my mom in pain and unable to enjoy the rest of our vacation, which she worked hard to afford, holding two jobs. It's disheartening to see her suffer, especially after eagerly anticipating this trip all year. Although the trip was otherwise enjoyable, this unfortunate accident has dampened our experience. I have photos of the step and the injury if required.

I have been in a dispute with IHG for about 2 years. I informed them that their actions, including pressuring the British police to threaten me with harassment, would not be ignored. Despite proper communication, IHG chose to disregard my concerns. Mr. Keith Barr was made aware that I would make a Public Service Announcement, which was ignored by IHG. When I raised my concerns at a Holiday Inn Express, the police were called on me with incorrect threats, which were later rectified. After visiting another hotel to express my dissatisfaction, I was threatened by the management with police action, which I consider a criminal offense. Such behavior towards a member of the public is unacceptable and could be considered gross misconduct. If this issue continues to be ignored, I will escalate my complaint to the police.

During my recent stay at a Holiday Inn Express in San Diego, I encountered several issues. When I tried to access my car, a security guard approached me, asking for my room key, despite me disclosing my room number. This incident was humiliating, especially considering the racial tensions in the area. The next day, despite checking out on time, I was almost wrongly charged for an extra night due to a misunderstanding about my friend with autism. The staff member handling the situation was hostile and unprofessional. Additionally, I never received my $[redacted] deposit back and was told it was because of a stained linen, even though we only had water in the room. This experience left a sour taste, and if the hotel doesn't rectify the situation, I will avoid Holiday Inn in the future due to the poor treatment we received.

Hello, my name is Brittany Mackie. I had a recent stay at Holiday Inn on the 4th where I paid a deposit using my card. Initially, I was informed it might take 3 to 5 days for the refund due to the type of card used. However, during check-out, I was told it could take 5 to 7 days. Upon contacting them, I was then informed it might take up to 10 days, and later up to 20 to 31 days, which is far too long. I need the $[redacted] deposit refunded quickly as I rely on that money for another accommodation's deposit. The conflicting information provided by the staff is unacceptable, and it hinders my ability to secure housing. I am reaching out for assistance as I was given inaccurate timelines, and I urgently need resolution to this matter to secure a new room without another deposit requirement.

I recently stayed at the Belmont location on the weekend of April 24-26. Unfortunately, my room, #[redacted], had bed bugs, and I was moved to room #[redacted], which seemed fine. The staff initially handled the situation well. However, when I went back to room [redacted] to retrieve a forgotten hat on Sunday evening, it had not been cleaned since we left. On Monday morning, my husband was accused of lying about the bed bugs and was told it was a beetle. Despite an outside lab confirming no bed bugs, I feel uneasy about the whole experience. I have emailed photos and hope for a resolution. If not, I may have to take further action, as staff should not have dismissed the issue and should have taken proper precautions to protect guests.
Sincerely,
C. A.

I stayed in Auburn, Indiana recently and unfortunately had to cut my visit short due to the poor condition of the hotel. The room I was assigned had a strong mildewy/sewage smell, stained floors, dirty bedding, and overall lack of cleanliness. Despite being moved to different rooms, the issues persisted throughout. The General Manager, Erica, offered me a $25 credit without addressing the problems faced during my stay. It's evident the hotel has water damage issues, with crumbling walls and unclean areas. This was a disappointing experience for my family, as we frequently stay in hotels. The decline in standards was noticeable, and I hope the management takes action to improve before it deteriorates further. I am requesting a refund for my shortened stay due to the unsatisfactory conditions.

My spouse and I reserved a weekend at the St. Jacob's Holiday Inn (14 Benjamin Road) recently. When we arrived, we were informed that the pool required appointments, so we booked one for 6:45. Assuming it was for 6:45pm, we headed off. As the time neared, I called the front desk to confirm, only to discover there was no booking under our name. After some back and forth, it was revealed that the appointment was mistakenly set for 6:45 AM instead of PM. We expressed our disappointment, eventually being offered a spot at the pool due to a cancellation. The situation left us dissatisfied, particularly with the confusion over the booking time and the initial denial of our appointment. It was a frustrating experience that could have been avoided with clearer communication from the staff.

During my stay with my fiancé at your Cromwell Bridge location in Maryland, we encountered a major issue - no hot water in our room. Despite bringing up the problem with the receptionist, it remained unresolved throughout the night, leaving me unable to shower before a special celebration. Despite several calls to the front desk, the issue persisted until our departure. While a partial refund of $26 was provided at check-out, I believe more could have been done to rectify the situation. I was disappointed by the lack of action taken to address the inconvenience we faced. I hope that the hotel can offer a better resolution, such as a room change or credit for a future stay, considering the impact this had on my experience. As a previous satisfied guest, I believe this situation could have been handled better and hope for a positive outcome to this matter.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express from 18/12/[redacted] to 19/12/[redacted] was disappointing. The bathroom had hair all over the floor, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the shower walls were covered in mold and grime. Despite raising these issues with the reception desk, I was informed by unhelpful staff that there were no other rooms available.
To make matters worse, I discovered stains on the bed sheets, and the next morning my partner fell ill after having milk and cereal at breakfast. As a loyal customer of The Holiday Inn, this experience was truly disappointing and not up to the standard I am used to.

Subject: Complaint about Stay at the Holiday Inn Gatwick Crawley
Hello,
I am writing to lodge a complaint about my recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Gatwick Crawley. I stayed at the hotel on the 29th of February using a Groupon deal.
Initially, I found the hotel to be pleasant on the day of arrival. However, late at night, noisy neighbors disrupted our sleep, entering their room at 2:30 am. When I went down to reception to address the issue, there was no staff present, so I returned to my room. A good night's sleep is crucial for me and my partner, especially when we have business the following day. I left the hotel dissatisfied and was advised to email my concerns.
I am requesting a full refund for the night I stayed. I am disappointed with the experience.
Please contact me via email or phone for further communication. My contact details are as follows: [redacted]2 or [redacted]
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at Holiday Inn. While staying at the Orlando location on [redacted] since May 30, [redacted], I extended my stay until June 1, [redacted]. However, on the second day, I discovered multiple large red/brown stains on the bed sheets. After finding more stains of the same color in various sizes, I was extremely disgusted. When I informed the front office staff, the woman I spoke to had an unhelpful attitude and seemed to find the situation amusing. Despite showing her pictures of the stained sheets, her only solution was to change rooms. I requested a refund as I was only made aware of the dirty sheets on the second day of my stay. I have photographic evidence of the stains and wish to escalate this matter to corporate. Paying a significant amount for my stay, I expect better standards and am appalled by this unacceptable experience in Orlando, especially being from out of town.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kamloops, BC for three days and was charged a $[redacted] security deposit. I was assured multiple times over the phone that the deposit was refunded on the 25th of December to the debit card I used for payment. However, my bank has not shown any refund from Holiday Inn Express or any other source. I urgently need this issue resolved as I have a crucial bill to pay today. I tried contacting the hotel for assistance, but after being put on hold for half an hour, I only received redundant information from the same person. I am unsure where the problem lies and seek immediate resolution.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Raissa Lanoy and I stayed at HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES MIAMI - HIALEAH from December 28, [redacted], to January 6, [redacted]. Our initially anticipated pleasant stay turned uncomfortable due to certain issues. The Wifi signal was consistently poor throughout our visit, despite attempts in the lobby post the password change. The connection remained weak and unreliable.
Moreover, we had to switch rooms three times due to noisy AC units disturbing our sleep. As a mother travelling with a 1-year-old, the inconvenience was particularly challenging. Despite raising these concerns with the staff, the resolutions promised were often unfulfilled.
I am eagerly awaiting your response.
Sincerely,
Raissa Lanoy

During a recent trip, I encountered rough roads and needed accommodations in Whitecourt, AB. After looking up Holiday Inn Express in Whitecourt on Google, I dialed the listed ([redacted]) number, which surprisingly connected me to a Reservation Desk in Guatemala. Upon arrival at the hotel, I discovered my prepaid reservation included additional charges totaling around $50 for Service Charge and 19% Sales Tax. It was concerning to experience difficulties with the reservation process and encounter an unexpected increase in fees. Furthermore, the lack of elevator assistance and malfunctioning elevator on the premises added to the inconvenience, particularly as a senior traveler seeking comfort and ease during my stay.

I made a reservation for four nights at Holiday Inn Laval. I tried calling to cancel but couldn't reach anyone. Initially, I confirmed on Tuesday, May 15th to change the booking to only Saturday and Sunday. When my husband and son arrived, they were charged for the full stay and were forced to book a suite since our original room was unavailable. The suite turned out to be a boardroom lacking basic amenities. Despite the circumstances, including my son's serious injury during a hockey game, the hotel was unhelpful and unsympathetic. We were charged $[redacted] for one night and incurred additional expenses due to the inadequate room. This experience was disappointing, especially since we are frequent Holiday Inn guests. I believe the level of customer service and accommodation was unacceptable given the circumstances.
