My DE filter is 5 years old and has been working well until this season. After adding DE through the skimmer, I noticed that the filter is now releasing DE into the pool through the outflow lines/ports. The 6-way valve is set to the 'filter' position. I'm not very familiar with filter systems, so I'm wondering if the issue could be with the internal mechanics of the 6-way valve or if the grids are supposed to keep the DE inside the filter.

I am seeking assistance with an LP conversion that I recently completed for a client. I followed the Howard H150 non-electronic ignition procedure for propane conversion. I used 3/4 iron pipes and set it up for a 2-stage system as anticipated. The client decided to run a 1/4" line for stage 1 and a 1/2" line for stage 2, deviating from the recommended 3/4" setup by Hayward. This has led to concerns about the appearance of the two tanks and has put my reputation at stake. I have experience with black iron installations for natural gas and propane, utilizing proper cutting, tapping, and threading techniques. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I have been attempting to reach out to your service center for over 8 days now with no success. One place I did manage to contact did not follow up as promised, and the other numbers I tried were disconnected. I purchased a Hayward heater nearly a year ago, but it started having issues with the gas valve, a $[redacted] part. My pool, used by my family and a baby nephew, needs to be at a decent temperature for upcoming family visits. If I don't hear back soon, I will have to contact the Better Business Bureau. My husband can easily fix it if you can just send us the part. Please prioritize returning my call promptly. Thank you.

My name is Debbie Dennison, and I purchased a Hayward heater last year. It was only used for about 3 months due to the weather in our area. I am frustrated with the customer service as I have been trying to resolve an issue with a new gas valve for over a week. I have left messages with your agents and tried to contact the service center, but only one company responded, and they have not called me back. I have missed out on a weekend of good weather with my family, including my older parents and baby nephew and niece, because they couldn't swim. My sister's family is visiting next week and expects to swim, so I urgently need the gas valve for the Hayward H1001D1 series. My husband can install it as he is knowledgeable about these things. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter, or further action will be taken. Thank you.

I have a Hayward Ecostar pool pump, and I keep getting the error message "DRIVE ERROR! PUMP HAS STALLED." I have researched this online for many days and it seems like a common issue. Every time I reset the error and turn off the power, the drive tries to start three times but then shows the error code along with two error lights. I don't remember the purchase date, and I don't have the warranty information, but I think it's no longer covered under warranty.

I bought a SwimPure Plus Turbo Cell from your company through Amazon Smile on May 22, [redacted], and it was delivered on May 23, [redacted]. The model number is T-Cell-15-SWP, and I received it promptly on May 25, [redacted]. After installing it on June 1, [redacted], my pool maintenance person notified me on July 16, [redacted], that the Turbo Cell stopped chlorinating the pool water. Despite emailing Hayward on July 21, [redacted], I have not received a response yet. The part was shipped by "Pool Supply Warehouse" via Amazon Smile, and due to the time elapsed, they are unable to process returns. I am currently waiting on hold to speak with your company at [redacted]. I have the serial number, receipt, and other proof of purchase. I completed product registration on your warranty website in May [redacted]. Thank you. D. Lowry

I've noticed a crack in the housing of my side-mounted multivalve control unit near the threaded pressure gauge opening. Despite my attempts to fix it, I believe I'll need to replace the entire unit. The model number of my cracked unit is [redacted]-X52, but I can't seem to find it listed among the current Hayward models. Can you advise me on the most appropriate replacement model that is currently available?

I have a substantial inventory of the Hayward SP1056 CYC Hydro Relief Valve that is beige/yellow/cream in color. I am unsure if it is safe to use because some parts show signs of chipping and possible fracturing. The packaging suggests they were stored properly, but I cannot confirm this. The product, also sold as CMP [redacted]-[redacted]-00, has similar issues of thread fragility, raising concerns about its integrity. I lack manufacturing information on the CYCOLAC-CYC plastic used in this product, a blend of polycarbonate, fiberglass resins, and ABS, known for its natural beige/cream hue. I wonder if Hayward discontinued this product, leaving me with old stock. I suspect they utilized Sabic's DL100 High heat, low emissions ABS+PC blend to manufacture this part for the American market. I need clarity on whether this product, crucial for pool safety, is still safe given these potential quality concerns.

I recently purchased an AQL-CHEM4-ACID feed system and have a Hayward Pro Logic Aqua Plus controller. I am unsure about monitoring the water's pH because the system did not include a pH probe. Do I need to buy a separate pH probe? I am having trouble understanding some Chemical Wizard questions on the controller, resulting in a CRS ERROR fault. I managed to make the feeder run for 15 minutes using Force Time, but I'm uncertain about more advanced settings. Thank you, -M.S.
