As a long-time customer of the Hartford Courant, I have always appreciated the service provided by the previous delivery person. He would drive up the driveway and toss the paper right in front of the garage, making it convenient for me, especially because I am a senior citizen. I would always make sure to give him a nice tip for his efforts. However, the new delivery person is not as careful with the paper. They simply throw it wherever it lands, often leaving it in a puddle of water when it rains. Even though it's in a plastic sleeve, it's not closed properly, allowing water to seep in. I have raised this issue multiple times, but unfortunately, there has been no improvement. Reading the paper online is an option, but my husband and I prefer the traditional way of reading the physical paper. I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed promptly. Thank you.

Recently, I've noticed a change in my newspaper delivery service. Previously, my regular delivery person would bring the paper to my back door every day. However, a new delivery person began two weeks ago, and they have been delivering to the front door instead. Sadly, there have been four instances where deliveries were missed. Despite calling the customer service number, which is [redacted], I've only had the paper redelivered twice the next day. On the other two occurrences, there was no redelivery. To add to the frustration, this week I did not receive my paper on both Friday and Saturday. As a loyal Courant customer for over 50 years, I am incredibly disappointed with the current level of service. I kindly request that this issue be resolved promptly. Sincerely, Deane J.

I didn't receive newspapers on May 15-17, 21, and 22. I reported the missing papers to customer support, and was informed I would receive the Sunday paper yesterday, which didn't happen. Today, I still have not received the Sunday or Monday paper. When I called today, I was told I would receive today's paper tomorrow. I had a conversation with a support representative who was unable to connect me with a local representative from the Courant in Hartford. I am requesting a call from someone at the Courant to address the ongoing delivery issues promptly. I prefer a phone call rather than an email reply. Thank you, Ted Olear.

I have not received my newspaper in the past month. Despite numerous conversations with your customer service representatives, all I receive are promises. After being transferred to a supervisor who assured me of a callback, I never received one. This ongoing issue is incredibly frustrating. It would be helpful if you could provide any updates about possible local disruptions. Your advertisements for carrier positions suggest that there may be difficulties due to insufficient pay. I have been a loyal subscriber for over 50 years, and this is the most severe delivery problem I have encountered. I prefer reading the physical paper as compared to the online version. Please address this matter promptly so I can resume receiving my newspaper as expected.

Dear Customer Service, I recently decided to give your company another chance, but unfortunately, I have not received my paper on Monday, July 31st and today, Thursday, August 3rd. This was a recurring issue which led me to discontinue your service previously. Today, when I spoke to your overseas representative, she mentioned that you do not have any representatives in CT that I can contact about this complaint. If this level of service continues, please cancel my paper immediately. I also found it confusing when one representative called to sign me up for the paper yesterday while I'm facing delivery issues. It seems there is a disconnect within your company. The newspapers are consistently being placed on top of our communal mailbox, which is inconvenient for me. When the previous delivery person would leave the papers on our patio by the door, it was much more accessible. I have noticed this problem twice now and wanted to bring it to your attention. Please address this issue as I may consider canceling my service if it persists. Thank you for your help.

I have been experiencing delivery issues with The Hartford Courant since the beginning of the year. I signed up for Thursday through Sunday delivery, but for the past two weeks, I have not received any newspapers. I have tried reaching out by phone, online, and through [redacted] with no success. It seems like the responses are automated and do not address the ongoing problem. Unfortunately, after being a loyal subscriber for over 40 years, this is my last attempt to get the delivery issue resolved before considering canceling my subscription.
