I need to escalate my concern about the consumer experience I am having with your franchise/dealership in India.
As a devoted Harley fan, I purchased a Street [redacted] Harley bike in India about 5 years ago.
Last September ([redacted]), my bike was diagnosed with a Rotor Assy failure, and I left it at your authorized dealership/service center in Khopharkhairne- Navi Mumbai, India called Bafna Motorcycles (Seven Island Harley). They provided a repair quotation of Indian Rupees 25,[redacted]/- which I agreed to. However, after keeping the bike for 9 months, they are now invoicing me double at Rs. 48,[redacted]/-.
Being kept in the dark for 9 months without any updates and then suddenly receiving an invoice nearly double the original quotation without prior notice is unfair and distressing for me. Despite reaching out to your customer service in India, I have not received any satisfactory resolution. As a working individual, I cannot afford this significant overcharge. I feel helpless in this situation and request your intervention to ensure fairness and justice as they are effectively holding me and my bike hostage.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Harley Davidson motorcycle, and my experience at the dealership was quite unpleasant. The process involved additional charges and a service plan that I find unnecessary and overpriced. Despite buying a bike for $15,[redacted], with taxes making it $16,[redacted] and putting a down payment of $3,[redacted], I didn't expect the final financing amount to be inflated with dubious fees. The service plan they added on top, labeled as a VIP plan, seems exaggerated in cost at $6,[redacted] with inconvenient service locations. I have several closer Harley stores and reliable mechanics nearby, making the plan seem unnecessary. This experience has tainted my view of the brand, and upon checking reviews online, it seems others have faced similar issues with this dealership. I am seeking to address the financing discrepancies and pay the agreed-upon amount as soon as possible. Thank you.

My husband bought a brand new [redacted] Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe, his second cash purchase. Recently, the bike hit [redacted],[redacted] miles, all ridden by him. As a certified Harley mechanic, he maintains it well in the garage. He once helped a friend whose bike was stuck for 2 1/2 years due to a wiring issue after a handlebar modification. Despite a $[redacted] bill, we waived the fees out of kindness. Now, the chrome on his bike - risers, handlebars, covers, and Showa front end - is peeling and pitting, making it unsightly. We believe there might be a chroming issue causing this. It would mean a lot if Harley Davidson could replace the damaged parts as a token of appreciation for my husband's daily kindness. His bike, a fuel-injected [redacted] Deluxe, means everything to him. I have connections with a biker magazine in SW Florida and would love to feature the story of his chrome replacement for some positive publicity for Harley. Thank you for listening to our story.

I bought a [redacted] Tri Glide Ultra trike from Iron Valley HD on October 7, [redacted]. I paid with a certified bank check but have not received the title yet. The dealership is giving me the runaround when I ask about it, claiming they don't know where it is or when it will arrive. I need the title promptly for WV DMV processes before 11/1/21. I suspect the dealership is delaying since I am out of state and already paid. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Bill Mays. [redacted] 18 Burkham Court, Wheeling, WV [redacted]. Vehicle VIN: IHD1MAF10KB860680.

Hi, my name is Kasra. I have been researching to buy a new bike for the past few months. After deciding on a brand new Fat Bob [redacted], I checked the availability on the Cascade Tigard location website, which showed one available without a price. Upon calling, they requested a visit to learn the price. When I visited, they had no Fat Bob [redacted] in stock and attempted to sell me a used one. I asked for a supervisor to locate the bike elsewhere and was offered a white one for $25,[redacted], a significant price difference from the website. The supervisor claimed the website pricing was inaccurate. Disappointed in the dealership's experience, I'm considering switching to Indian motorcycles. I seek confirmation if I can order directly from the Harley-Davidson website, as I was told otherwise. Your assistance is appreciated.

Subject: Dissatisfaction with Brandon, FL Location
Hello Jochen and Paul,
I am writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with the Brandon, Florida location. The staff there are friendly, but their incompetence and lack of care over the past 6 to 8 months, especially in the service department, have been frustrating.
One major issue is their failure to keep service records, despite multiple visits for the same problems resulting in no solutions. I have encountered difficulties with warranty service not being processed correctly, long delays in bike inspections, and unhelpful responses when trying to escalate my concerns to higher management.
I have purchased two bikes from your dealership and expected better treatment from Harley-Davidson. These experiences have tarnished the brand's reputation in my eyes, leading me to consider alternative options in the future.
I felt it was important to share my feedback with you as a loyal customer who is now considering moving on.
Kind regards.

I purchased a [redacted] Road King from Tobacco Road Harley in Raleigh, North Carolina on 5/31. Shortly after, at [redacted] miles, the motorcycle developed an oil leak. The dealer contacted me to pick up the bike after repairs were made, but upon returning home, the oil leak persisted. Upon bringing it back for service, I was informed of a hole in the front cylinder and the bike is now back in service. The dealer offered a $[redacted] trade-in value or to fix the issue. I believe, given that I've only had the bike for 7 days, I should be entitled to either a new bike or a refund, as I made the purchase in good faith. I am familiar with the lemon law and would appreciate a satisfactory resolution. - Alan Holzberg
