I acquired a Google Pixel 4a a few months ago and am extremely frustrated and worried about this device. I was walking in light rain the other day for about 10 minutes while on a call, and now the phone is completely unusable - essentially destroyed, if I may put it that way. I am aware that the phone is supposed to be water-resistant to a certain degree, capable of enduring "water falling as a spray at any angle up to 60 degrees from the vertical," but in my case, the phone should not have been damaged by such light rain. Given that work phones for all NHS staff have been difficult to obtain, I heavily rely on my personal phone, which is now out of commission. I am requesting a replacement phone or a refund. I take good care of my belongings and do not believe I am responsible for what happened.

Hello,
I'm Mahesh Dharni from Mumbai, and I've been using the Pixel 2 XL for three years. Recently, I've encountered multiple issues with it:
1. The volume button has come out of its slot.
2. When I press the power button to lock the screen, it automatically opens the camera.
3. There seems to be an issue with the speaker, as the sound is not clear.
I'm unable to contact you via phone, so please reach out to me at for more details.
Thank you.

While walking, some sweat dripped onto the USB port of my phone, causing the screen to malfunction. Despite having a case and screen protector, after only owning it for 14 weeks, it couldn't withstand this minor exposure to sweat. I regularly walk in mild weather conditions, and this phone seems unable to handle basic daily activities. UBreakIFix quoted a minimum of $[redacted] for repairs, a significant cost considering I paid $[redacted] for the phone in June. I am disappointed that such a high-quality camera is hindered by its delicate design, making it vulnerable even during normal outdoor use. Though I doubt a replacement will be provided due to the company's profit motive, I feel compelled to share my negative experience with at least 50 people in the coming month.

I bought a Google Pixel 3A XL early in the pandemic. Shortly after, Best Buy closed its in-store locations. Since then, whenever I use the speaker on my Pixel, it emits a screeching sound to the person I am talking to. I haven't sent it for repairs as I can't be without a phone. It's been almost 2 years dealing with this issue, and now I have to decide whether to fix it or get a new phone. Can anyone assist me with this problem?

I recently bought a new Google Pixel 3XL, got it set up, and everything was working well. However, after updating to Android 12, I've been experiencing issues accessing the Google Play Store. The phone prompts me to log in to my Google account, but when I try, I encounter a loading circle and a message saying the device needs internet access, despite being connected to WiFi. It seems this problem might be due to the recent update. Can anyone advise on how to resolve this issue?

After being involved in a severe auto accident, my Pixel 3A XL suffered significant damage. The screen is cracked, making it impossible to clear anything typed on the keyboard. Enlarging items results in a blurry screen, hindering photo and text visibility. Additionally, navigating the screen causes it to quiver uncontrollably.
I visited YoubreakIfix for repairs, but they were unable to resolve the issues. I am particularly fond of the stereo speakers and the exceptional music and voice clarity this phone offers. The camera's color accuracy is unmatched, capturing exact representations of photographs.
Despite my affection for Pixel devices, the lack of customer service has deterred me from purchasing another. Is there any way to salvage my damaged phone? I would appreciate speaking with a customer support representative to explore my options.

I purchased a Pixel 4a 5G three months ago on Amazon, and my SIM card is not being detected. I have tried troubleshooting steps like network resets, safe mode, and even a full reset of my phone. The local store confirmed it is a hardware issue. I have reached out to support multiple times with no response. This is my first Pixel device, and I am disappointed with the number of bugs. I have a six-month warranty and have been trying to get a solution online with no luck. Please respond promptly or I will escalate this on social media. I need a refund or replacement as soon as possible as it is affecting my work. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a toll-free number for support as the chat option has not been effective. I hope to receive top-notch service to give a 5-star rating.

My Pixel 4a 5G SIM card is not being detected. I purchased it from Amazon just three months ago and started experiencing issues within a month. I have tried various troubleshooting steps like network reset, removing and reinserting the SIM card, and booting in safe mode. I even performed a factory reset, but the problem persists. The nearby store confirmed it's a hardware issue. I have reached out to support multiple times but have not received a response. I have a six-month warranty and have been trying to contact support online with no resolution so far. If I don't hear back soon, I will have to escalate the matter on social media. I need either a refund or a replacement promptly as this is affecting my work. I suggest having a toll-free number for customer support as the current chat system lacks proper guidance. I hope to receive top-notch service so I can rate it 5 stars.

I lost my Google Pixel phone today while traveling, and it has a low battery of about 15%. I've tried using the Google "Find my phone" feature without success. My carrier, Spectrum Mobile, directed me back to Google for assistance. I attempted to call my phone from another person's device, but it went straight to voicemail. This phone is my only means of contact as I am currently homeless due to financial struggles related to COVID-19.
I have informed my out-of-state family of my situation, and finding my phone is crucial as they may try to reach me soon. Affording a new phone is not an option for me right now. I retraced my steps and remember visiting only a couple of places where I could have lost it along with my glasses.
When using the "Find my phone" feature, it shows two phones - the Pixel 3 and a Galaxy, although I have never owned a Samsung phone. Email seems to be my only way to stay connected, but it requires Wi-Fi access or connection.

I've encountered an issue with cross-sharing between Instagram and Facebook. Despite having the necessary permissions enabled for years, a recent post on Instagram did not appear on my Facebook feed. Upon attempting to reshare the post, I received a confirmation message but the content was still not visible. I attempted various troubleshooting steps such as clearing caches, unsyncing and resyncing accounts, updating both apps, reinstalling them, and even restarting my Pixel device. Despite these efforts, the problem persisted.
After seeking advice from others, including a fellow Pixel user who experienced a similar issue, I updated my phone as suggested. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the problem. Strangely, the post appeared multiple times the next day, hours after my initial attempt to share it. I am perplexed by this delay and would appreciate guidance on how to prevent such delays in the future.

My Pixel 4XL recently stopped working abruptly. I brought it to Ubreakifix, and they informed me that it is only one month beyond the one-year extended warranty. They advised against repairing it, citing a phone board failure. After returning home and inspecting the phone, I discovered the battery contact had melted due to substandard materials used in the device. This experience has left me disheartened, and I have decided not to purchase another Pixel phone in the future.

I lost my Pixel 6 Pro. I left it in the front yard and when I returned, it was gone. I am trying to locate/track it, but I can't remember my Google password. Despite numerous attempts to reset it, I have been unsuccessful. I even tried setting up a new recovery email but Google keeps trying to send a code to my missing phone, which is not helpful. Without access to my account, I can't do much. It has been missing since the evening of 9/20/22. Can anyone assist me in finding my phone? It was a cherished gift that cost my friend around $[redacted] - $1,[redacted]. Please help me retrieve it.

I bought a Pixel 7 Pro from Amazon on October 19, [redacted], and it was shipped on October 26, [redacted]. Issues with the phone began on November 3, [redacted]. Initially, the camera had problems with its orientation, causing photos to display upside down or horizontally. Subsequently, the phone wouldn't charge even when using a new Google 30-watt plug and cable. Testing the plug and cable on a different phone proved they were functional. I attempted to charge the phone after turning it off, then turning it on again, but it still wouldn't charge.

I own a Google Pixel 3 and unfortunately, I have forgotten my PIN. Despite trying various methods suggested for recovery, I am unable to proceed with a factory reset. When I attempt a reset, the screen displays 'no command' with an Android symbol. I have also tried following the steps of holding the power button and volume up, but seeing no progress thereafter.
I am seeking assistance to regain access to my device. In the meantime, I can be reached on my alternative Pixel 4 at [redacted].
Thank you,

I recently purchased the new Pixel 7 Pro through Amazon.ca. Despite changing the phone settings to "Canada," certain apps like Google Play Services still won't open, causing functionality issues. The main support number provided is no longer working, and after submitting a form online outlining the problem five days ago, I have yet to receive a response, although it promises a reply within 24 hours. I have attempted to reset the phone without success, and Amazon refuses to exchange it. If Google is unable to resolve the issue, I would like to proceed with an exchange through them.

I am experiencing difficulties with my Google Pixel 6 Pro regarding carrier compatibility. Mint Mobile informed me that my device is not compatible despite using their service for a year. Upon checking IMEI information, it appears that the phone does not support 5G on all bands. This has resulted in inconsistent service and sometimes no service at all. I have contacted Google Pixel support regarding this issue and expressed my frustration with the situation. I am considering requesting a refund to purchase a different phone. It seems that the problem lies with carrier compatibility for the Google Pixel 6 Pro. I am seeking recommendations for a carrier with reasonable pricing that is compatible with this device. My phone is unlocked and was purchased at Best Buy.

After updating to Android 13, my Dexcom 6 mobile app stopped pairing with the transmitter. Tech support advised resetting my Pixel 6a to factory settings and restoring data from online backup. However, I encountered issues with two-party verification as the only option was a text to the device I was setting up, preventing access until the process was complete. I used my previous device to import my Google account but now can't locate the backup to restore the data. Where could it be located?

While on vacation in Durban, South Africa, my Pixel 6 was stolen, leaving me without any other devices to access my Gmail account currently. As my phone was the only device linked to my Gmail recovery, I am unable to access my email without it. The dilemma worsens as I cannot even locate my phone without logging into my Gmail account. It seems I am in a true Catch-22 situation, as I am unable to reach live customer support through Google without being logged in, which I cannot do without my phone. Therefore, I will provide my wife's email for your response.

My Google Pixel 6 has been acting up over the past two months. It randomly hangs, the "Do Not Disturb" feature and flashlight turn on and off unexpectedly, the speaker becomes garbled, texts are erratic, and the screen jumps around or goes back to the home screen. Sometimes it misses letters or suggests odd words, and spell check is unreliable. With all these issues occurring randomly, I feel like attempting to fix it would be pointless. I believe my phone may be a lemon. Since I still have a week left before the one-year anniversary and device care, I wonder if it could be replaced or upgraded. I prefer Google products and have generally not heard many complaints about their phones compared to others. I hope Telus can assist with this matter.

When I connect my phone to my computer using a USB cable, both devices indicate that they are paired. However, when I check the File Manager on my computer, I can't see my phone's storage, and my phone isn't visible under the My Computer option.
On my phone, under the USB Preferences option, the USB control is set to "Both" and it shows that the connected device and the device itself are not selected. In the "Use USB for" setting, I have enabled file transfer and Android Auto.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue and successfully connect my phone to the computer via USB. Thank you.
