I encountered a severe hacker issue on my computer, and even after buying a new laptop with McAfee virus protection, the problem persisted, leading to unauthorized access messages. Despite attempting to reset the router and change the password, the issue remains, making it impossible to use the new computer. As an 87-year-old, I struggle to keep up with technology and would greatly appreciate in-person assistance. I have a 3-year warranty with Geek Squad through Best Buy for such situations. Thank you.

I recently received excellent service from your Geek Squad technician, Justin John (Agent #[redacted]). Justin efficiently installed our sound components and offered valuable advice on other questions I had. When I mentioned my past Geek Squad membership in Massachusetts, Justin suggested I reach out to Geek Squad directly to inquire about any potential discounts.
I am hopeful that my previous membership is still active, and I would appreciate it if you could check if Justin's service call in my new location qualifies for a discount. I used to frequent the Seekonk MA Best Buy and can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

I disputed charges with Best Buy. After being informed that the charges were partially refunded, I tried contacting the [redacted] number but only encountered static. On my second attempt, I received a callback after 1 hour and 13 minutes. However, I had to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes to speak with a representative. Despite confirming the initial call, the representative was unable to assist me and transferred me to another department that I could only reach by phone. After being on hold for over an hour and then getting disconnected after 30 minutes, the issue remains unresolved.

Our washer's control board malfunctioned, which we bought just two years ago from Best Buy. This is the second washer that has stopped working on us. We reached out to Geek Squad for repairs, and they initially had the wrong model number. After correcting that, a new part was supposed to be ordered, but after two weeks of silence, we were informed they couldn't get the part and we had to exchange the washer. Even after purchasing a new one, when the delivery came, they refused to install it citing issues with our valves. Despite us being ready to handle it ourselves, they left with no follow-up. When I requested a next-day drop-off, I faced more roadblocks and empty promises. No one could offer a solution, and I am now left waiting for another week without any clarity on where my washer is. All I received was a $42 refund, and I am beyond frustrated with this entire experience.

Hello,
Subject: iPod Classic Restoration Issue
I'm not sure if your support covers iPod problems, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to inquire. If you are unable to assist, could you please recommend someone who can?
Following a factory reset of my iPod Classic using iTunes, the device is no longer recognized by iTunes. All my music was removed during the restore process.
Is there a solution to reestablish my iPod Classic (5th Generation) successfully?
I am willing to provide screenshots to clarify my concern.
Thank you,
Dorothea

When attempting to play online games, my computer unexpectedly restarts. Despite the system temperatures reaching 73°C, it can reboot even in the mid to high 60s. System diagnostics indicate that the fans are functioning, but I don't notice them revving up when I log into online games. Recently, I had Microsoft Support to help resolve Windows Update issues, resulting in a complete Windows 10 reinstallation after facing challenges updating the video card driver. I had to replace the video card and the hard drive. However, shortly after replacing the video card, the computer began crashing to the desktop. I upgraded the power supply and reapplied thermal paste, which temporarily resolved the issue but then reverted to crashing. What could be causing this problem?

I noticed a charge of $[redacted].99 from my checking account but it did not specify that it was for my Geek Squad yearly renewal. The transaction only listed the merchant address as Richfield, MN. [redacted], and described it as electronic sales. Can you confirm whether this charge is indeed for my yearly renewal? For future reference, could you please send me an email prior to processing any renewal charges. Thank you.

I purchased a Vizio TV on 11/13/[redacted] from Best Buy along with the Geek Squad Protection Plan, which is valid until 11/12/[redacted]. Initially, I had issues using it with Comcast and ended up buying a Roku, which didn't improve the situation. Despite numerous calls to Vizio for assistance on the Smart Casting feature, I couldn't resolve the "no signal" message on the TV.
Later, I tried using the TV as a monitor, but it only worked intermittently and has now stopped working altogether, displaying the same "no signal" message. The limited compatibility with Vizio, Smartcast, and Free TV made it frustrating to use. I have decided to purchase a new TV due to these ongoing issues. I have spent extensive time troubleshooting without success, and the frustration led to the decision to replace the TV.
My Plan ID for the Geek Squad Protection is [redacted].

I have been experiencing intermittent loss of picture and sound on my 55" QLED model QN55Q7FAMF, serial number 06DW3CZJC0064, which I bought from Best Buy in Covington almost 3 years ago.
Periodically, the TV shows a message regarding a power loss but eventually, the picture and sound return. Additionally, when I power it down at night, the source (usually SPECTRUM) is lost and I have to set it up again to regain the source, which is frustrating and time-consuming.
I wonder if this is a hardware problem? Could it be related to the 'ONE CONNECT' box and power issues?
Luckily, I purchased an extended 5-year warranty for the TV. I would appreciate a technician visiting my home to assess the problems and carry out any necessary warranty repairs. Thank you, Jim Lynch

I am unsure what happened. I am waiting for a phone call about my Samsung Note 10 Pro from Lady Curves on Essex St in Lawrence, Mass. Additionally, I received a package of tiny lights that I did not order from the same place. The address only has a name, Kevin, at [redacted] Leffingwell Ave, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90[redacted], which seems strange. It appears to be a warehouse when I tracked it. I need to return the lights for a refund. Should I send it back to the warehouse address or to the company? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I received an email yesterday about my Windows Security renewal stating Ticket NO: PCW-[redacted]4. The renewal date was set for Nov - 10 - [redacted], at the cost of $[redacted].99. I recently signed up with Geek Squad on 7/20/[redacted] after Best Buy fixed my laptop. I contacted the number provided in the email thought to be Geek Squad and requested to cancel as it hasn't even been a year. The person on the line instructed me to visit a website to complete the cancellation, where I was prompted to install a program. I declined and insisted that I would handle it directly with Best Buy/Geek Squad. I am hesitant to provide unknown parties access to my device. I am now unsure about continuing with this program and seek clarification before proceeding.

Hello,
My name is Rosemarie Malageri. Today, a Geek Squad service representative named Gregory visited my home. Gregory spent a few hours trying to resolve my computer issues for a $[redacted].00 payment. Unfortunately, my computer is still not connecting to any of my sites, except for email. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this service as I am encountering the same problems. I contacted Geek Squad for assistance, but they were not able to provide much help. I seem to be having trouble remembering my password, despite trying variations like my SSN and Medicare number. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your help.

I recently received an email confirmation from GEEK SQUAD.STRON.HENN regarding an automatic renewal charge of [redacted] USD for an annual subscription. The email stated that I was charged for an annual subscription for a product named Aura [redacted]. However, I have never subscribed to this service, and I am located in Australia, which is not within the service area of the company. I do not use any devices that would require such a subscription for tech support, and I have not made any purchases from this company. The email did not even mention my name, leading me to believe that the company only has my email address. Dealing with these false charges is frustrating and time-consuming.

I suspected my printer cartridge was empty, so I bought new HP63XL cartridges. The test page printed colors fine, but my laptop only prints in black and white. Despite multiple attempts, the issue persists. I attempted a system restore to 11/19 with no success. I am hard of hearing and struggle with phone communication. Thanks.

I recently purchased new HP63XL cartridges because I thought my old one was empty. The color prints fine when I test it, but I can only print in black and white from my laptop. I've tried everything I can think of, including a system restore, but nothing has worked. I would appreciate any assistance with this issue since I have difficulty using the phone. Thank you.

I'm currently locked out of my HP laptop, supposedly by Microsoft, and instructed to contact them at [redacted]. I received a notification stating that my computer is infected with Trojan spyware and adware. I am uncertain if this is genuine or a scam, so I require your assistance. If this is a scam, I would like to schedule an appointment or bring it to you for evaluation. Thank you. - Art A., Northborough, MA [redacted]

Hello, I own a 3 to 4-year-old 55-inch Smart TV from Samsung. Recently, I had Comcast come out to fix my modem and replace the black box. The technician was unable to get the sound system to work, but the picture was fine. My son-in-law managed to get the soundbar and subwoofer working, but I am struggling to get the TV sound to come through. I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. Even with both systems, I am still not getting the sound clarity I need to hear and understand. I'm 76 and could really use some assistance with this issue. Thank you, Dennismansfield.

I recently got an email from someone who said they were from Geek Squad and claimed I owed $[redacted].99 for a subscription service. When I called the number they provided, [redacted], they said I signed up in [redacted] for 5 years, which I don't recall doing. Shortly after losing cell signal during the call, I received a duplicate email from another sender. Is this typical of Geek Squad? It seems suspicious.
