I recently received a letter from the NJ Motor Vehicle Department stating that my vehicle registration and driver's license are being suspended due to an alleged lapse in auto insurance for a leased car. Even though the car was turned in this past March when I upgraded to a newer vehicle of the same make at Mall Chevy in Cherry Hill, NJ, they are still requesting proof that I no longer have the previous vehicle. I have submitted the necessary paperwork to the dealership confirming the end of the lease on the [redacted] Equinox and my current lease on a [redacted] Equinox. I am seeking a quick resolution as I need to drive for work. I can provide supporting documents via fax if needed. Thank you for your prompt assistance in this matter. - Byrne Solberg

I recently brought my car in for electrical issues and was advised by the service department that I needed to replace the battery, alternator, and starter. Upon further inspection, it turned out that the starter only had a loose bolt and did not need replacement. However, the service department refused to address the loose bolt and insisted on selling me a new starter for $[redacted], three times the price at other stores. After picking up the car, it broke down before I could even reach home. I was dissatisfied with the service manager's response when I expressed my concerns about the situation. I feel taken advantage of by the dealership and I am disappointed with the outcome of the repairs.

I own a [redacted] Yukon Denali with VIN 1GKF63817J331543. My dashboard has cracked in multiple places for the second time, and I initially had it covered by my inclusive warranty. My dealer in Mount Airy, NC, Shirley Jones, suggested I reach out. I have bought several GMC vehicles, including a previous Yukon, and have always been satisfied with their performance and service. I plan to give this vehicle to my son for his business needs but am embarrassed by the dashboard's appearance when transporting clients. I believe that, as a loyal GMC customer, you will be able to help me. My contact number is [redacted]. Thank you, Glenn S. Pfitzner, MD.

On Saturday, November 10, [redacted], I visited Cardinal Buick GMC in Belleville, IL to explore the Thanksgiving/Veterans special pricing for a new Buick Encore. I finalized a deal to trade in my Chevrolet Equinox and finance a [redacted] Buick Encore with GM financing. Upon reviewing the paperwork at home, I noticed a $2,[redacted] discrepancy in the total amount financed. I promptly emailed Drew Frueh and RJ Long on Sunday, November 11, [redacted], highlighting the error in the financing paperwork which omitted Missouri Sales Tax and inflated the total amount by $2,[redacted]. RJ Long contacted me early Monday, November 12, acknowledging the mistake and prepared corrected paperwork for me to sign. To save me a trip after work, my husband drove [redacted] miles to retrieve and deliver the paperwork promptly. As a result of the correction and the added effort, I request an adjustment to the finance start date and some consideration for the inconvenience caused. The corrected paperwork was signed on 11/12/[redacted] and not 11/10/[redacted]. Regards, M. Wood.

In [redacted], I experienced a foreclosure which resulted in a mix-up with the property handled by the realty company, Century 21. Despite signing a quit claim deed in good faith to rectify the issue, there seems to be confusion with the ownership, potentially involving GMAC. Over the past 15 years, I have attempted to resolve this with the realty company and the agent who has since passed away. Unfortunately, the company is now unable to locate records of the transaction. I am seeking guidance on how to directly address this situation and determine if GMAC is willing to correct the errors made. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, J. Alzen.

I am in need of a duplicate title for my vehicle. The original title, received in [redacted], was unfortunately discarded by my husband who is suffering from Alzheimer's. The car has been in storage for years, and I require a new title to sell it and help cover funeral expenses. I have a photocopy of the original title but cannot use it for the sale. Despite multiple attempts sending $79.90 to Baton Rouge, LA, the process has been unsuccessful. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. You can reach me at [redacted] in Vidalia, LA. Thank you.

My GMAT is scheduled for December 24th, [redacted]. However, my passport is currently submitted for a US visa application. Is there a way I can use an alternate form of identification or provide a soft copy of my passport for the exam? This situation is common, and I hope there is a solution available. I am in need of a Lien Release letter from Ally (GMAC) for a car I am registering through AAA. Despite calling approximately 10 times since September 18, [redacted], I have yet to receive the letter. Each time I call, they assure me the letter will be sent via mail or fax, but it never reaches me. There seems to be a disconnect between departments, leading to confusion and delays. During my recent visit to the DMV in my hometown, I was handed a letter regarding my mother, A.J. McL. The letter discussed a lien cancellation dated 2/18/10, but we only received it on 12/21/[redacted]. The DMV staff mentioned that 'Vaul Trust' had requested my mother's information, which needs to have a raised seal for the matter's closure. I am seeking assistance to address this matter properly.

I am unsure of what steps to take regarding this issue after speaking with our local DMV. All I have received is information regarding a valid lien cancellation from GMAC for the vehicle under the name 'Vaul Trust'. This lien cancellation needs to provide a detailed description of the vehicle and must be correctly signed and possibly countersigned. Additionally, the DMV representative mentioned on my way out that the document must contain a 'raised seal'. I appreciate your patience and assistance in resolving this matter.

I have been given a pick-up truck that was financed through your company many years ago and was previously owned by Jim and Brenda Pence. Mr. Pence has lost the title to the vehicle. After visiting the Department of Licensing in Washington state, it was discovered that the title was never transferred over when it was sent to him back in [redacted], making your company still the legal owner according to the state records. To obtain a clear title for the truck, I require an Affidavit of Loss/Release of interest from your company. How can I proceed in obtaining this release for the title? The vehicle in question is a [redacted] Chevrolet S10 with the VIN number: 1GCCS1449V[redacted].
If necessary, you can reach out to Jim and Brenda Pence using the following contact information:
Email: [redacted]
Cell number: [redacted]
Please note, they have recently relocated from Yelm, WA to Missouri.

To whom it may concern:
My vehicle, a [redacted] Trailblazer, has been paid off since [redacted] or [redacted]. Unfortunately, I accidentally shredded the title. I applied for a new title from the State of Texas on March 7, [redacted], which was mailed out on March 8, [redacted]. However, the State informed me on March 20, [redacted], that GMAC was the lien holder and that I needed an official release from them in order to get a new title. GMAC has since become Ally Financial. I contacted them on March 24, [redacted], but due to a typo in the VIN number, the release letter was not sent out as promised. After several calls and promises, I am still waiting for the correct documentation. The delays and lack of proper communication have been frustrating, and I am now considering escalating this issue further if it is not resolved promptly.
Sincerely,
Gina Barry-K

I am facing a complicated situation after my business partner's passing, as the company vehicle, registered under his name but paid for by the company, is in my possession without any paperwork. The DMV is requesting me to transfer the title to my name to sell it, but the GMAC lien needs to be resolved first. Despite contacting GMAC two weeks ago, I have yet to receive any information from them. Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,

I bought a car from a private seller. When I tried to transfer ownership, the DMV said there was a lien on the vehicle. I reached out to GMAC, now Ally Financial, and they claim there is no lien. I asked for a release letter, but after two promises of mailing it, nothing arrived. They refuse to email or fax it. When calling the [redacted] number, it seems like an international call. I want to ensure I'm speaking to someone in the U.S. and prefer a local number. I've called four times and haven't made progress. Any help is appreciated.

The customer's wife, Kathryn Frank, unfortunately passed away, leaving the title in her name. The husband is unable to find the lien release necessary to transfer the title into his name. I kindly request another lien release from GMAC to facilitate this process. I will provide a lien release form with all the required details for your convenience. Your prompt assistance in signing, notarizing, and returning the form would be greatly appreciated to help resolve this matter for the grieving husband. Thank you for your cooperation. I recently needed a lien release letter for my title urgently, and GMAC quickly assisted me. However, they could only send the letter via fax or standard mail and not through email. As I did not have a fax machine, I managed to find a solution without the lien release. It's essential to allow sufficient time for the process if you require a lien release from GMAC.
