We purchased a new GE Profile dishwasher. We scheduled a service call for June 14 from 8-12, but no technician arrived. After calling, we were informed the appointment was rescheduled without notice. The new date was June 29, yet once again, no one came, and GE claimed we had canceled the appointment, which we did not. After being given another appointment on July 21, we are frustrated by the lack of professionalism and communication from GE. We have wasted over 10 hours waiting for service and troubleshooting on the phone, with no resolution. Attempting to contact Consumer Relations has left us on hold for over an hour without speaking to anyone. This level of service is unacceptable, and we believe some form of compensation is warranted.

My washing machine, only 18 months old, has been leaking for a month. Ocean Appliance, contracted by GE Support, attempted repairs but wrongly diagnosed the issue initially. Despite charging us $[redacted], the problem persists. They now say the outer tub is cracked, but the part is no longer available. They advised contacting GE for further assistance. We deserve a refund for the misdiagnosis. What steps will GE take to resolve this issue with my recent Costco purchase in Jan/[redacted]?

I am experiencing premature failure of GE Reveal LED light bulbs, which were purchased at Lowe's in an 8 pack. Part Code: [redacted], Desc: LED8DAGRVL-LT8, PK-[redacted]5-3, SKU - [redacted]. The first bulb started pulsing before completely failing, and then the glass detached from the base of the second bulb when I tried to replace it. This caused a safety concern as the LED portion was left exposed. I have photos to document the issue.
I have two main issues: the short lifespan of the bulbs compared to their advertised longevity and the safety hazard of the glass separating from the base. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter. Thank you.

I am experiencing an issue with my GE bottom freezer refrigerator displaying an Err code when I try to dispense water or ice. Despite two repair visits, the latest technician suggested it was the filter and I replaced it, but the problem persists. It's frustrating as I have been waiting for two weeks for repairs and it's not resolved yet. With family coming over for the 4th of July, I now have to buy ice due to my new refrigerator malfunctioning. I had a similar issue with a previous GE fridge that leaked water. I own a GE dryer, model GFD14ESSNOWW with serial number VR501721J, purchased through Costco and rarely used at our second home. After only a few cycles, the dryer malfunctioned and a GE technician diagnosed a faulty heating element. Despite more than a month passing, we have not received any updates regarding the replacement. We have left multiple voicemails without success and now seek to discontinue working with this technician and obtain a replacement unit promptly. I ordered a GE 18-inch portable dishwasher on June 12th. The delivery made on June 26th was incorrect, as it was an under-the-counter style instead of the portable one I ordered. The replacement delivery on July 9th also was the wrong item and had a dent, so it was returned. I am now informed that the correct portable dishwasher will be delivered on July 27th. I am disappointed by the delay and multiple incorrect deliveries, leading to a 45-day wait from order to delivery. While Home Depot customer service has tried to assist, I believe GE should work on expediting the shipment using a different shipper. The delivery drivers were impolite, and I suggest GE consider personally delivering the item to ensure accuracy.

My name is Barbara Srivastava, and I reside in Canada. In mid-January [redacted], I purchased a washing machine with model number GTW [redacted] BMM1WW and serial number VR [redacted] 598C.
Since the purchase, I have encountered an ongoing issue with the machine not filling with the correct amount of water during the washing cycle. Despite multiple technicians attempting to resolve the problem, it persists. When initiating the washing cycle as per the manual's instructions, the machine briefly fills with water during the "Fill" command before swiftly transitioning to the "Wash" stage. Upon inspection, I've noticed that the water level only reaches about 2 inches from the bottom of the machine, insufficient for proper washing as my clothes reach much higher.
This malfunction has rendered the washing machine unusable, leading me to seek a refund. The lack of resolution has shaken my confidence in the product, prompting concerns about its longevity beyond the warranty period.

I mailed a certified letter to GE in January [redacted], but I have not received a response yet. I am disappointed in the consumer relations. I purchased a General Electric Oven (model JTS3000SN1SS) in May [redacted] and it showed a defect on the interior after using the self-clean feature in November [redacted]. Despite contacting the service and parts department and Consumer Relations, I was told they wouldn't take responsibility for the issue. I believe it is a warranty-covered defect and request a new oven with free installation. I have always trusted GE Appliances for their quality, and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. I purchased a GE gas range on 1/12/[redacted]. When I turn on the oven, I smell gas. I am seeking a service person to inspect and repair it as it is covered under warranty. On 7/6/[redacted], I contacted GE service and received an email confirmation #[redacted]82 stating that P&F Appliance repair would contact me within 24 hours, but they did not. After reaching out to them 28 hours later, they informed me they do not service my area. Following this, I called GE service again on 7/8/[redacted] and was provided with case #[redacted]0. After a 3-hour wait, I spoke with Coy who mentioned that my case was being referred to the locating team and assured me I would hear back within 24-48 hours. Today is 7/13/[redacted], and I am yet to receive any updates. Coy said she would follow up today, but I have not heard from her as well. I urgently need the oven repaired and request prompt communication regarding the repair process.

I purchased a new GE French Door Refrigerator in February [redacted] from Home Depot Online. It was delivered on Saturday, February 13th. The delivery team from GE could not remove my columnar refrigerator/freezer combo, so my husband had to install it several days later. When we unwrapped the refrigerator, there was a significant dent on the lower surface of the front door that contains the ice/water dispenser. I immediately contacted GE, reported it, and thought a replacement was on its way. I never received any updates, so I called Consumer Relations on March 17th and was given case number #[redacted]9. I have a ZFSB25DXCSS refrigerator/freezer that has been working perfectly for 6.5 years. However, in April [redacted], it suddenly stopped cooling. After 7 service calls, the issue still persists. Even after multiple part replacements, the problem continues. The unit stops cooling once it reaches the correct temperature and fails to restart the cooling process, causing the temperature to rise significantly. After being in a meltdown state for 12 to 18 hours, it restarts, only to repeat the issue again later. Despite the technicians' efforts, the cause of the problem remains unknown. I have lost a considerable amount of food items in this ongoing situation. I am in need of a resolution as this has become a 3-month ordeal. I purchased a new above-the-stove microwave in Mt. Pleasant, TX on March 22, [redacted], from Lowe's. Unfortunately, by May 1st, it stopped working properly. I scheduled a service appointment, and the technician visited on May 11, [redacted], but he said it couldn't be repaired and mentioned he would look into a replacement. I have an extended warranty for the microwave. However, we've been struggling to reach the Consumer Relations agent despite multiple attempts, some lasting up to 3 hours. Yesterday, after waiting for an hour and a half, the call disconnected. I have the case number, receipt, and service appointment details stored on my phone. I am eager to have this issue resolved as having a new non-functioning microwave is not helpful. Everything else like the time, lights, and vent work correctly; it just doesn't heat or cook food. The delay in resolving this matter has been disappointing, and I'm hoping for assistance.

I purchased a GE Cooktop model No. JP3630SJ4SS from BestBuy in August [redacted] for $[redacted].99 with a 5-year warranty for $[redacted]. It was delivered in October [redacted] and installed by the Geek Squad. On 6/8/21, I heard a loud glass shattering sound in the kitchen, and the Cooktop had shattered with lines running through it. After contacting BestBuy, they advised me to reach out to GE since it was still under the manufacturer's warranty. A technician from GE visited on 6/14/21 and mentioned it was impacted by a hard object. Despite promises from a GE representative on 6/28/21, they later declined coverage, stating we deliberately broke the stove. Now, all I am looking for is to have my stove replaced, as I have been without a cooking stove since 6/8/21.

I had scheduled appointments on Monday from 12-5 and Tuesday from 12-5. Unfortunately, no one showed up on either of those days. The technician called in sick on Tuesday. Another appointment was scheduled for Thursday from 10-2, and again, no one showed up. I reached out to A&E customer service multiple times starting at 1:00 PM on Thursday. At 5:50 PM, I was informed by customer service that I did not have an appointment, but when I called again, another agent mentioned the technician was in the area and would arrive soon. They promised to contact dispatch and text me.
I am reaching out to request that my dishwasher, under warranty since I purchased it in November [redacted], be fixed. It stopped working around February [redacted], and although the parts arrived and were repaired in July [redacted], it malfunctioned again after using it once, with beeping and flashing lights.

On July 23, [redacted], our GE wall oven had the inside glass door shatter just fifteen minutes after starting the self-cleaning cycle. The loud noise and sudden falling of cracked glass was startling and fortunately, nobody was hurt as we were nearby. We bought this oven as part of a GE set (range, microwave, and refrigerator freezer) for our new house that we moved into on May 15, [redacted]. Initially, the door never fit properly, sticking out about 3/4 inch in the upper right corner. After the glass shattered, this part of the door now fits flush like the others. We are speculating if the original misfit of the door caused stress on the glass. We kindly ask GE for warranty support to fix this issue considering the proximity to the end of the warranty, proper usage and care of the oven, our loyalty as GE customers, and the potential initial defect in the design.

I recently had a service call for my GE Electric Range with technician Adam. He ordered replacement parts and returned on July 19th to complete the service. Only one of the two parts had arrived, so he installed the one available and mentioned he'd return for the second part. The missing part arrived a few days ago. When I contacted 1-[redacted]-GECARES today about the technician's return, they said the service call was closed and advised contacting my repair insurance firm. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the GE CARES representative who then directed me to this forum for help.

My neighbor, Nunziata S. from 88 Andrew St in Bayonne, NJ, has been struggling to get her dryer repaired. The initial technician, Osmond, attempted to fix it but only drilled a hole in the back panel without resolving the issue. The second technician, Ralph, indicated that parts needed to be ordered and scheduled a return visit. However, Osmond returned claiming he didn't have time to finish the repair and requested Ralph to come back out. This back-and-forth has been frustrating for Nunziata, especially with a newborn making the situation more challenging. It appears there have been delays and miscommunications in resolving the dryer problem, and it's affecting a loyal customer like Nunziata. I own a GE Washer that is still within warranty, and I requested service due to a grinding noise. York's in Chesapeake, Ohio, was assigned to repair it in April [redacted]. The repair technician deemed a transmission replacement necessary and mentioned they would call once the part arrived. In late July [redacted], York's informed me that the part was expected on a Wednesday via UPS but did not follow up as promised. Subsequent calls were unfruitful, with varying information on the number of parts required. After leaving voicemails requesting tracking details, I received no response. Presently, my calls go to a full voicemail, and they are avoiding answering. I am eager to have my washer fixed under warranty but suspect they are delaying beyond the warranty period. I am seeking a case manager's assistance and a case number to expedite solving this issue. I prefer another repair center handle the repairs promptly or a replacement washer from GE to compensate for the prolonged inconvenience. It is imperative to address this promptly before the warranty lapses.

My window air conditioner stopped working suddenly on Friday, July 23rd, [redacted]. I had purchased it in March this year. After unplugging it, the unit briefly turned on, but then turned off and started beeping rapidly. Neither the control panel nor the remote responded, and the beeping only stopped when I unplugged it again. The display showed "8.8." with a temperature of 86°F before shutting off and beeping continuously. I contacted GE on Saturday, and they scheduled an appointment with Dave's Appliance for Wednesday between 12 and 5 pm. When I asked to change the appointment to 4 pm, Dave's Appliance had no record of it. After contacting GE, I was supposed to be transferred to Consumer Relations for assistance, but I've been on hold for 2 hours. I'm a dissatisfied customer and urgently need a resolution. I recently purchased a GE Cafe series double oven, but I am experiencing issues with the Wifi connectivity. The problem started after an app upgrade and despite reaching out via phone and email since February, I have not been able to resolve the issue. I have interacted with multiple technical support representatives, to no avail. After escalating the matter to the engineering department, I only received a response on the fourth attempt, promising more information that never arrived. I have tried to follow up several times to no avail. I am now considering returning the oven for a refund due to the lack of resolution. GE's handling of this matter has been extremely frustrating, and I am disappointed with their level of customer service.
