I own a GE Profile combination range and microwave installed in my new home by Taylor Morrison. All Set Appliances came twice to fix it, but the first technician did nothing, and the second one had to look up the solution on his computer after finding an alert about the issue. Now, they rescheduled an appointment because the tech needed a dolly for parts, even though a new microwave could be carried. It's been two months of back and forth, and I am exhausted with this situation. I would like a new microwave that has passed quality control to be installed promptly. This ongoing problem needs to be resolved as soon as possible, as it has become quite absurd.

Reference case # [redacted]3: The parts installation did not fix the washing machine issue, and there was a lack of verification from the repairman, despite multiple visits over the past 2 months. Considering the ongoing mechanical problem, it seems replacement may be the best solution. Getting in touch with Customer Relations has been challenging, with a recent one-way audio call back on 3 August leading to no resolution. After a 2-hour hold time, reaching out again seems necessary to escalate this matter to higher management for a prompt solution.

I am disappointed with the product quality and customer service provided regarding my two-year-old dishwasher. It has broken twice and been repaired twice, but now has two new malfunctions. Despite supposed promises of a free repair or replacement from customer relations, I received no follow-up. I was blindsided by a $99 service technician call scheduled between 1-5pm today. After being on hold with Customer Relations for 15 minutes, I am frustrated. If my call isn't answered promptly, I will have to file a detailed complaint with your corporate office. I urgently need assistance.

I recently purchased a brand new GE Range which was delivered on 01/07/[redacted] and encountered an issue with the front burner tubes breaking when I lifted the range top to clean underneath on 07/30/[redacted]. After scheduling a service order for 08/09/[redacted] with Confirmation #[redacted]79, I unfortunately experienced a series of delays and miscommunications with the service technician, prompting me to contact customer service. The technician arrived late without the necessary parts, leading to additional waiting time for the repair. This experience has greatly inconvenienced me as a business owner who relies on my stove for baking pastries, resulting in a loss of revenue. I urge GE to address this issue promptly to avoid further escalation.

Date: August 10, [redacted] Forum Thread ID: #[redacted]35 Hello, I am J. Desai. It has been more than a month and a half since I have been awaiting the repair of my primary refrigerator. Two technicians have visited and identified the issue requiring parts to be ordered. After a 3-week wait for the parts, another technician arrived today after missing the previous day. Surprisingly, he adjusted the temperature from 54 degrees to 34 degrees, took a photo, and claimed to have contacted our insurance company. To our dismay, he returned stating the insurance denied the repair, despite approving all necessary parts. He also accused us of causing the temperature rise by opening the fridge door, taking back the parts we had been waiting for. This situation is critical as my elderly diabetic parents and children rely on refrigerated items daily. The technician was identified as Russ242. I will not recommend GE products due to this experience and am considering involving the BBB and my lawyer. Nobody should endure a delay of over a month and a half for essential refrigerator repairs. The treatment received from GE and the technician today was unacceptable for any family. Thank you, Jay Desai

I purchased a GE air conditioner model AHC18DZH1 last year, which is still under warranty. Last summer, after a month of use, the condenser needed replacement. This summer, the unit is not cooling properly. The thermostat shows a lower temperature than the actual room temperature (reads 61 while the room is 80), and only the fan works without producing cool air. Despite scheduling repair pick-ups with GE, they haven't shown up after multiple reschedulings. We have waited at home for four days, but no one arrived. Each time we call customer service, we are assured that they will come but are disappointed when no one does. This situation is completely unacceptable. We may need to escalate this to the Better Business Bureau if the issue isn't resolved promptly. If they can't fix it, a refund would be necessary.

I am experiencing an issue with my CAFE refrigerator, covered under warranty. There is ice forming on the outside of the freezer drawer. I initially requested service two months ago, but the repairman identified a part that needed replacement and didn't follow up as promised. Despite a second service request and multiple reschedulings due to unforeseen circumstances on the technician's end, the problem remains unresolved. I am disappointed with the lack of progress, especially with my warranty ending soon. I plan to escalate this matter to upper management if not addressed promptly. Best, Donna W.

I bought a GE air conditioner last year, still under warranty. After using it last summer, the condenser was replaced after a month. This summer, it's not cooling properly. The thermostat shows a lower temperature than the actual room temperature (reads 61 instead of 80). When it does turn on, only the fan operates, no cool air. Despite multiple scheduled repairs with GE, no one has shown up after waiting at home four different times. Contacting customer service has been frustrating with repeated promises but no action. This situation is unacceptable. If the issue is not resolved, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and request a refund if the air conditioner cannot be repaired.

I purchased the newest GE Washer, dryer, and pedestals through Best Buy in February [redacted] after having a Samsung for eleven years. I am single and only wash for myself. The washing machine started having issues at the end of June [redacted]. Steve assessed it needed a new motor. Another technician, Dave or Mike, came without parts but fixed it temporarily. After another breakdown, a new service man came out in July and identified the need for an inverter. The part won't be available until September 20, [redacted], for a machine only slightly over a year old. I am frustrated with the repeated breakdowns and poor customer service. I have been without a working washer and dryer for almost two months and now the dryer is also malfunctioning. I demand a replacement or a refund due to this ongoing inconvenience.

I purchased a GE Gas Dryer (Model - GTD33GASK0WW, Serial - MS826553C) from Home Depot in Brockton, MA on July 26, [redacted]. The delivery, scheduled for August 3rd, arrived late, and the plumber discovered there was no heat due to a split ignitor. Despite contacting GE Service, I had to wait for a qualified technician to inspect it on August 11, [redacted]. Now I am frustrated because I have been without a dryer for a month, and I have to wait an additional two weeks for the part. The delay is inconvenient as I have to rely on friends for help, especially for such a new and costly machine. I am disappointed with the service and hope for a prompt resolution. - A.M.

We bought a GE air conditioner (model AHC18DZH1) last August, which is still under warranty. We only used it for two months last year. When we tried to turn it on in May this year, it wasn't functioning properly. We had to request service, and they ended up replacing the condenser. Now, in August, the thermostat displays a temperature much lower (61 degrees) than the actual room temperature (80 degrees). When it does kick in, only the fan operates, and no cool air comes out. Despite scheduling a pick-up for repair with GE, nobody has shown up. We've rescheduled four times and no one has arrived. We've wasted four days waiting for a technician. Contacting customer service has not helped; they keep assuring us someone will come, but nobody does. This situation is completely unacceptable. If the issue is not resolved, we will escalate it to the Better Business Bureau. If they can't fix it, we will demand a refund.

My washer, just over 2 years old, has completely stopped working. I initially scheduled a service for May 21st (Confirmation #[redacted]38), but it was rescheduled last minute to July 16th. The technician replaced the transmission and after running a cycle without clothes, assured me it was fixed. However, right after they left, issues persisted - the lights didn't synchronize with the cycle and the washer eventually stopped working entirely, forcing me to handwash and rewash at a laundromat. Upon contacting the company, the technician returned, diagnosed a UI and control board issue as well as a mode shifter problem. Parts were ordered, and after rescheduling again, the technician assured me it would work. Unfortunately, after their departure, it broke down completely, with no lights on. Subsequent visits by the technician were unsuccessful in fixing the problem, and I was advised to contact customer relations. I paid $[redacted].92 for repairs, and approximately $[redacted] on laundromat expenses since May, totaling $[redacted].92. I am now seeking advice on how to proceed. Sincerely, Madona Doxey

On July 9, I had a technician diagnose my broken GE washing machine for $[redacted]. The inverter board WH12X267941 needed for repair was on back order until late August. Unfortunately, the part has been further delayed. Despite the machine being only 2 years old and aside from this electric part issue, I have been unsatisfied with the service. I made my first call to GE Customer Relations to report this matter; however, no case number was provided, and there is no record of my call. I am looking for compensation due to this extended wait period and hope for a more satisfactory resolution from GE.

My washer broke down 4 weeks ago after just 8 months of use, and Beman Repair is taking forever to fix it. They already replaced the control board and gearbox, and now they're waiting on a new pump. It's frustrating to have to deal with this from a brand like GE. I've tried contacting their consumer department, but the hold times are ridiculous. I'm fed up with having to travel 60 miles to do laundry every weekend. The pump finally arrived today, but they can't come to fix it until next Tuesday because I'll be out of town on Monday. It's been a hassle dealing with this lemon of a washer and the poor service from Beman Repair. The gearbox even made a mess inside the machine, which they didn't bother to clean up properly. This whole experience has been a nightmare.

Subject: Disappointing Experience with GE Dishwasher Repair Hello, I am writing to express my disappointment with the repair service I received for my GE dishwasher. I purchased a suite of GE appliances in late May for my new condo, costing approximately $4,[redacted]. When I tried to use the dishwasher on July 24, it failed to cycle. The repair process, involving multiple technicians and parts orders, has been frustrating. The initial repairman incorrectly diagnosed the issue, resulting in multiple visits and delays. Despite the supposed fix, the dishwasher still did not work when I tried it later. When seeking assistance from the repair supplier and GE Customer Relations, I encountered long wait times on the phone and no resolution to my problem. I am reaching out for help in resolving this matter promptly. As a new customer, this experience has been disheartening. I hope to hear from you soon. Regards, D.J. [redacted] [redacted]

My spouse has attempted to repair our refrigerator's ice maker on multiple occasions in [redacted]. The technician was unable to resolve the issue despite our repeated attempts and significant expenses. Ultimately, he suggested replacing the door to fix it. Frustrated by this, we requested another technician from GE customer service to assist, but were informed none were available in our area. Following an unsuccessful complaint, our ice maker remains dysfunctional. We are now seeking a 50% discount on a new refrigerator, as recommended by a GE customer service representative. We appreciate a prompt response to resolve this ongoing problem. Thank you. 😀

I have been dissatisfied with the refrigerator since its delivery in February [redacted]. Despite my complaints about the discolored stainless steel on two doors, the replacement provided three months later had an additional flaw suggesting a factory mistake. I have invested numerous hours disputing the issue with both the credit card company and GE, and now the refrigerator is making a humming sound and leaking. Although GE offered compensation for keeping the faulty appliance, I am exhausted. A repairman is scheduled for August 23, [redacted]. I am frustrated by the lack of accountability and the inability to get a functional refrigerator. I am eager for a hassle-free resolution and a reliable refrigerator. The process has been arduous, and I am eager for a satisfactory outcome. Thank you, Florence Montgomery [redacted].

I have a GE fridge repair appointment scheduled for 8/18/21. Despite a previous repair on 7/20/21, the same issues persisted, leading to my upcoming appointment. Initially set for 8am to 12 noon, I was informed a technician would arrive between 8:30am and 10:30 am the night before. By 11:30am on the day of the appointment, no one had arrived. The website then indicated an ETA of 1:55 to 3:55pm. Upon contacting customer service at 11:35am, I spoke with a representative named Roberta. Unfortunately, she displayed a rude and uncaring attitude regarding the delay, without offering any apologies. This experience was disappointing as I had to take the day off work to accommodate the service. GE should consider providing better training for their customer service staff to improve customer interactions.

My recent GE stove glass top has cracked, making it the second stove from this brand that needs replacement in less than 1.5 years. I opted for another GE stove, but the same issue occurred. A service technician is scheduled to review the stove top on August 30th. Customer service mentioned no available company at the moment and advised waiting for consumer relations to respond. As of now, I've been waiting for over two hours with no response. Seeking a refund for the stove purchased on April 26th, [redacted], for $[redacted].00 plus taxes. With a family of six, including two athletes who eat frequently, I can't wait two weeks for a resolution. This GE stove, with only 3.5 months of use, had the same cracking issue despite careful handling and avoidance of heavy pots.
