I purchased a Frigidaire frost-free freezer about two years ago. Unfortunately, it has stopped freezing twice, leading to food spoilage and costly repairs. I bought it new for nearly £[redacted], and I am disappointed by its performance. As a 73-year-old pensioner, I cannot continue to cover repair expenses or the cost of buying a new freezer. It seems like I may have to invest in a replacement appliance sooner than I had planned, which is concerning given the short time since purchase.

My issue remains unresolved. The technician appeared rushed to leave. I am unable to use the control panel for my refrigerator; it is unresponsive. Although the appliance is running, I cannot adjust the temperature, power it on or off, or utilize functions like power freeze. The technician suggested unplugging and replugging it, however, he didn't take the necessary steps to do so. Upon having my contractor perform this action, it was discovered that the issue lies with the computer, not the electrical connection. I require competent help to fix the problem. Could you please send a different technician? Thank you, Tracy S.

We bought our refrigerator back in [redacted]. Soon after the purchase, the cold cut drawer shelf bracket broke. Despite contacting customer service for a replacement, we were sent the wrong item three times. I managed to fix the bracket on my own twice, but now the drawer itself has cracked. When we asked for a new bracket and drawer, we were charged $[redacted]. If the correct part had been sent the first or second time, the drawer wouldn't have cracked. We are frustrated that due to the mistakes of your staff, we are now out this money. We feel Frigidaire should cover this cost, not us. This experience has left us very disappointed, and we are now considering other brands for our future appliance purchases.

I have a small upright freezer that I purchased second-hand nearly 40 years ago. Recently, the top of the freezer started to corrode, and I covered it with disposable tablecloths. The Frigidaire freezer has served me and my husband well for over a decade, without any need for an additional guarantee. I would like to know if anyone has experienced a similar issue and if there are any suggestions on how to address it. While I am not seeking a replacement, if there are any refurbished units available, I would be interested, particularly if they are upright for better organization in my small kitchen. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! - D.B.

I have a Frigidaire upright freezer with model LFFU14F5HWL and serial number WB[redacted]0. It had been working well for years until the control panel on the door was changed recently due to cooling issues. Despite unplugging and waiting a few times, it stops cooling intermittently. The freezer is not overloaded and hasn't been exposed to extreme conditions. A second service appointment is scheduled for Monday, August 20, [redacted]. Hoping for a successful repair. Thank you.

I attempted to cancel order number [redacted] while it was pending. I used a debit card ending in [redacted] from Compass Bank linked to Craig and Susan Correll. I included 3 invitation forms in the mail using the provided self-addressed envelope after buying 2 Fridgidaire Airconditioners and 1 Fridgidaire Gallery induction cooktop range from Best Buy. They only charged me for 1 Airconditioner and failed to process the payment for the second one due to a possible error with the card number entry, neglecting to arrange a service agreement for the range initially. After numerous calls and issues, I managed to get agreements for all items but found the service cost increased. Upon discussing it with my spouse, we decided to cancel the service contract the next day. Even though I requested the cancellation promptly, it was processed and posted without notifying me. I need this contract to be canceled immediately, and I am expecting a proper confirmation.

I recently bought a refrigerator with Model No. FFHS2622MSVA and Serial No. 4A[redacted]2 from NE Furniture Mart, and it's been nothing but trouble. Just as the warranty expired, it started malfunctioning. The icemaker is incredibly loud, the temperature won't stay consistent, it beeps non-stop, and the shelves keep breaking. Despite paying over [redacted] dollars for three repair visits, the appliance still doesn't work. NE Furniture Mart refuses to help, blaming Frigidaire and Electrolux for the poor quality. Regardless of who is at fault, I was not informed about these issues when I made the purchase. I cannot afford to buy a new refrigerator and would like a replacement. I hope to receive a response and a resolution soon. Thank you, Kim M.

For the past five years, I have struggled to use my oven properly due to a persistent gas smell since its installation. Despite workers initially claiming it wasn't the oven or the gas line, the gas company red-tagged it, requiring me to manually turn the gas on and off for each use. Even after purchasing a new valve in hopes of resolving the issue, the problem persists. Today, my workers spent six hours dismantling the oven to replace a part that should have been addressed much earlier.
This ongoing ordeal has cost me thousands of dollars and caused significant inconvenience, with the oven being taken in and out more than 25 times. The dangerous gas leak situation has me deeply concerned. I urgently need assistance to rectify this situation as purchasing a new oven is currently not an option for me given the expenses already incurred. Any help to resolve this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Melanie G.

I have a warranty for my chest freezer. I've been trying to get help with a broken top by calling Jasmine Clark several times. She was supposed to call me back, but it hasn't happened. I paid for a warranty expecting good service, but the lack of communication is frustrating. Jasmine mentioned replacing the appliance for free, but I can't reach her when I call. This has been ongoing since June without a resolution. This is poor customer service, and I expect better treatment. I need this matter resolved promptly, or I'll pursue other options.

I own a Fridgidaire Gallery double wall oven, Model FGET3065PFD, purchased from Lowe's in [redacted] for over $[redacted] during my kitchen remodel. The lower oven has malfunctioned twice after use, requiring repair each time. Fortunately, the upper oven remains operational. Unfortunately, during busy holidays like Thanksgiving and Easter when I need both ovens, I encounter issues. Despite contacting customer service and receiving advice to check the oven door gasket, this did not resolve the problem. This oven is my first and only Fridgidaire appliance, but unless the issue is resolved, I may not consider purchasing from the brand again.

While microwaving honey in a glass bowl, there was a spillage that caused the turntable to break. Despite the microwave being over 2 years old, I believe the turntable should be replaced free of charge. After contacting customer service and speaking with a supervisor, I was only offered a 50 percent discount, which I found disappointing given the situation. I was also dismayed by the lack of apology from your representatives regarding the incident. It's concerning that I could have been hurt, and the cleanup was quite challenging and risky. I hope you reconsider and provide me with a replacement at no cost. This experience has left me dissatisfied with your service and support and hesitant to recommend your products to others who inquire about my kitchen appliances.

We purchased the Frigidaire Top-freezer model LFTR2032TF in August for my son's first house. On December 8, my son called to say the fridge wasn't cold. I advised him to adjust the thermostat, but two days later, he had to discard everything because it still wasn't cold. We contacted Lowes, where we purchased it, but they couldn't send someone for 2 weeks. Unacceptable! After being transferred to Frigidaire's repair center, Fedders Appliance Repair Service, the technician diagnosed a faulty fan motor in addition to another issue. The unit was under four months old! Now, we are waiting for the parts to arrive for the repair. I am thoroughly disappointed with this poor performance and demand some form of compensation. The repairman even mentioned that Frigidaire is aware of the faulty fan motor. This situation has been incredibly inconvenient for us, and I insist on a resolution promptly.

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher from Home Depot on 10/1/18 for a kitchen remodel. After installation by a plumber I hired, it leaked along the seam. I have been communicating with both Frigidaire and Home Depot for nearly three months to resolve this issue. A replacement dishwasher was scheduled to be delivered today, 12/28/18, but the delivery team arrived without installation paperwork and mentioned the new unit was damaged. After contacting Home Depot, I was directed to Frigidaire who arranged another delivery for 1/11/19 without confirming installation. They offered to refund the purchase price but not the installation fee. Despite requesting to speak to a supervisor, the representative on the phone declined. My main priority is to have a functioning dishwasher. Complicating matters, this property is not my main residence, forcing me to travel to address these ongoing problems. I need assistance in resolving this issue as both Home Depot and Frigidaire are deflecting responsibility, leaving me with a leaking dishwasher for almost three months and no resolution in sight.

My spouse and I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator on January 6, [redacted], and it has been problematic since then. Luckily, we opted for the extended warranty. Despite multiple visits from a technician to our new home, the fridge remains unfixed. Dealing with Frigidaire's customer service has been a nightmare - unprofessional and disappointing. With three kids, being without a fridge for almost three weeks is tough. We got the warranty anticipating issues, but now Frigidaire seems hesitant to assist. The repair cost is estimated at $[redacted] to $[redacted], with no guarantee it will even fix the problem. This situation is really frustrating. Consumer Reports recommended this fridge, but the experience has been the opposite. I urge Frigidaire to honor their product and replace it promptly. My interactions with Customer Service reps, Webster and Bianca, were unpleasant and unhelpful. I am requesting a Regional Supervisor or higher to reach out to me promptly to resolve this matter. Thank you. - J.K.

We bought a new home in late December [redacted] and moved in April, but we've been experiencing issues with the Frigidaire refrigerator that came with the house. A repair technician identified the problem as a faulty compressor, even though he noted it was still working and cooling properly. Despite this, the warranty claim was rejected.
The compressor in a refrigerator should be silent, but ours has been making loud and worsening noise since we moved in. We believe it should be replaced under warranty. Can you assist us with this matter?
Thanks,
Thomas B.

On May 14th, [redacted], I purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator and Gas Range. Unfortunately, my refrigerator was missing a light cover upon delivery. It took multiple attempts with Home Depot customer service to resolve the issue and I was informed that my model of refrigerator does not include a light cover. This was surprising as I have never encountered appliances missing essential parts before. Additionally, the handles on my refrigerator are positioned so closely that they collide when both doors are opened simultaneously. Despite having been a satisfied Frigidaire customer in the past, this recent purchase has left me disappointed. The stainless steel appearance of the appliances differs significantly from what was showcased online. The material appears cheap, is challenging to clean, and retains fingerprints and smudges. This experience has raised doubts in my mind about purchasing Frigidaire appliances again in the future.

I bought a wall air conditioner in April [redacted], used it for 3-4 months. Recently, the compressor runs but not the fan. I tried unplugging it for a few hours, then tried again, it lit up but did not work. After waiting an hour and trying once more, it finally worked. However, after using it for about 3 hours, I turned it off as a precaution. The next morning, when I turned it back on, the fan did not run. I tried turning it on and off a few times, and it started running, but only lasted a few minutes before stopping again. The unit is out of warranty, but I expected better quality from Frigidaire considering the price I paid for it. Thank you, Todd A. Email: [redacted]

I'm experiencing issues with my FFAD3033RIA0 Dehumidifier in a 14x24 room. It runs constantly but collects very little water, about 1 1/4" in 20 hours. Sometimes it briefly stops for 45 seconds and starts again. After moving it to a larger room, it ran continuously collecting water, but now that it's back in the smaller room, it's not collecting much water despite running non-stop. Even when the set humidity level is reached, it continues to run without satisfying the level. I suspect a faulty humidity sensor. The unit should still be under warranty. The serial number is IN[redacted]3.

I bought an ice machine on Amazon, but it's not making ice and gets really hot in the back. I reached out to the warranty service, provided the serial number and purchase documents. They're now asking for photos and a video of the problem, but it's hard to film something that's not working, especially since the ice machine does not make ice. Dealing with this service is frustrating, and I don't want to go through all these steps for a $[redacted] machine. It feels like they're making it difficult on purpose. This experience has left me (us) feeling disheartened. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

I'm frustrated with Frigidaire as they threatened to cancel my service warranty, stating it only covers service but not replacement due to a design flaw. It's disappointing that I paid for a dishwasher but received more of a sanitizer instead. Even their repairman confirmed that this model is often used for storing things or just sanitizing mason jars. I have a video recording of my conversation with the repairman regarding this issue.
