I recently purchased a collector's car, a '68 Chevrolet Chevelle, from a seller in Alabama last weekend (10/22/[redacted]). The seller never obtained a title in their name because Alabama doesn't require titles for vehicles that old. Furthermore, the car was never registered in their name as they were working on it over the past year and a half.
Today, I visited the Bay County, Florida DMV to register the car and apply for a title. Unfortunately, they informed me that without a title or registration, they couldn't process it locally and suggested going through the Tallahassee office for the title and registration process. Alternatively, they mentioned the option of returning the car to Alabama for the seller to complete the inspection and registration in their name.
I'd appreciate any advice on the best course of action moving forward.

I accessed my FLHSMV portal on March 6, [redacted], to renew my 2-year registration tag. Following payment, I received an email confirming the transaction and stating the tag would arrive in 7-10 business days. Despite the specified time frame, 45+ days have passed, and I am yet to receive it. Attempts to contact customer service at [redacted] have been unsuccessful as the line constantly gives a busy signal. I urgently require the new tag to avoid potential issues with law enforcement due to my expired current tag. How can I reach a representative at FLHSMV for assistance?

Good morning, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at the DMV. I arrived early but ended up being number 45 in line, despite being around the 11th person upon arrival. The lack of coordination was frustrating, and I observed individuals selling their queue spots to those who arrived later. I was disheartened by the poor organization at a location with a supposedly good reputation. Additionally, I encountered rude treatment from a security officer at the door on Tuesday, August 15th at 8:00 am. She displayed aggressive behavior towards me while I was trying to help organize the line. Her offensive words and discriminatory actions towards me based on my Hispanic background and language barrier were unacceptable. It is essential for all staff to maintain professionalism and respect for all customers regardless of their background. It is my hope that appropriate action is taken to address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Hello!
I received my driver's license by mail recently but encountered an issue - it's a learner's license instead of a regular one. This mistake is causing me a lot of inconvenience as I've been driving for over 10 years and already had a driver's license from another country, which the DMV office was aware of. My wife received the correct license, but I am in a difficult situation now. I urgently need to rectify this error or obtain documentation to confirm that I hold a regular driver's license as I rely on driving for work to support my family.
My license number is P141-[redacted]-85-[redacted]-0.

My daughter successfully completed the Driver's Ed course through FLVS and aced the class e knowledge test. However, the DMV insists she retake the test even though she met all requirements, scoring above 80%. As per the Florida manual and the Driver's Ed course guidelines, there is no reason for her to retake the test. I am currently attempting to contact Tallahassee to address this issue and find out why she is being asked to redo the exam.

Hello, I am Janice & Michael Ardt. I hope you are having a blessed day. I have written a letter to a judge as advised by the Hernando clerks 2 years ago to resolve the matter with our warrants and licenses from 20 years ago. Even though I believe my warrant has been lifted, I am unsure about my husband Michael's situation. We are now different individuals, both working for the federal government since January [redacted], and seeking to move past these issues. We want to ensure that any outstanding matters are addressed so we can have our licenses reinstated. Our priority is to have the ability to travel to Florida to support our aging parents if needed. Thank you for your assistance and support. Have a wonderful day filled with blessings. Janice & Michael Ardt
