I recently made a payment over the phone to Fitness 19 Claremont, specifying that I did not want my card on file. However, when checking my account, I noticed a declined $30 ACH charge from Fitness 19. Upon calling them, I encountered a rude and unhelpful front desk employee who informed me they had kept my card on file against my wishes. The charge also included a late fee, adding to the frustration. I was unable to escalate the issue as the employee claimed there was no supervisor available, and the person who processed my original payment was no longer with the company. The interaction took place around 3:30-3:40 on Saturday, May 6th.

La entrenadora, una mujer de baja estatura que lleva mucho tiempo trabajando allí, tiene la costumbre de llegar a las 4:30 a. m. y solo permite la entrada a esa hora a sus amigos o conocidos. I recently visited your new gym in Loma Linda, CA. During my visit, I had a conversation with a woman who, like me, served in the Marine Corps. I mentioned our volunteer group that honors veterans monthly and promised to share information about it. When I returned the next day to drop off the material, she was not there, so I was advised to come back on Tuesday before 7:00 pm. I arrived early on Tuesday, but after waiting for 10 minutes, a staff member approached me. Unfortunately, he was not able to assist me in locating the woman I was looking for and simply stated he did not know her. This lack of helpfulness left me disappointed as I had considered switching to your gym but now have second thoughts. Thank you for your attention, Mr. A.

I have a lifetime membership at the Covina location, which includes tanning, red light therapy, and massage chairs. I love tanning but have been disappointed as several bulbs are burnt out in the tanning bed. Despite bringing this up with the manager, Chris, over two months ago, the issue remains unresolved. Currently, there are 15 bulbs out and more are expected to burn out soon. I would like this to be a routine maintenance matter and fixed promptly. I have been told that service has been requested but with no results. I value this gym and its amenities, but I would appreciate it if the tanning bed could be fully functional for me to use. Due to having surgery and other medical issues, I have been unable to attend the gym since August 19, [redacted]. I reached out to inquire about canceling my membership but faced challenges due to language barriers and unhelpful staff. Despite providing my medical records and attempting to communicate my situation, the gym insisted on charging me for months following my surgery. Abigail Perez, the club manager, displayed unreasonable behavior and was rude during our interactions. She even made inappropriate comments regarding my ethnicity. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue upon receiving their email in March [redacted], I was unexpectedly referred to a debt collection agency. This treatment was unfair and lacking in empathy towards a customer in my circumstances. I believe the gym's actions were unjust, especially considering my efforts to address the situation promptly.

I recently won a contest at my local Fitness 19 for a $[redacted] cash prize. I bought a $50 ticket and agreed to the terms of bi-weekly weigh-ins for the contest. The management assured me I would receive the prize within 1 to 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the Fitness 19 suddenly closed down without notifying any members, leaving me without my prize. I am disappointed and seeking fair compensation before considering legal action.
