I am extremely dissatisfied with the mattress topper I bought through the Fresh Start program. The grey top is falling off, not attached properly, and it sags where I sleep. I am currently receiving bills for a Webbank/Fingerhut credit card that I have never had. I reported this issue to Transunion for investigation on May 13, [redacted], and the Dispute was supposed to be resolved by July 15, [redacted], but it has not been completed. I have not received any paper statements for this account and I do not know the account number. I am now behind by $38.00 due to a $13.00 unauthorized purchase. It is crucial that Customer Service closes this account as it is negatively impacting my credit score by over 60 points. I bought a small Dell Laptop that has never functioned correctly. Despite dealing with Fingerhut and Assurion, I keep getting redirected back to Fingerhut. After Dell remotely accessed the computer and it worked briefly, Fingerhut advised me to return the laptop for a credit due to Dell not honoring the warranty. Following their instructions, I sent it back for a refund and shipping reimbursement, which was initially denied by Fingerhut until they confirmed it during a call review with Supervisor Karen. They even offered a $50 credit for the inconvenience. Now, I am left with a new computer that still doesn't work, making me feel deceived by their employee's falsehoods. I am eagerly awaiting a resolution to this credit issue and have also involved the BBB. I am extremely disappointed by this experience.

I have been encountering difficulties with FH and their customer service. Despite making a payment on my account that was due on 10/05/18 after numerous phone calls, I now need assistance with returning my Nutri Ninja Duo Blender. When trying to make a smoothie five days ago, the blade top became stuck in the base, and my family and I couldn't remove it. The smoothie has dried up since then. Unfortunately, a health emergency led to a two-month hospital stay due to a reoccurrence of stage IIII breast cancer at age thirty-two. Fingerhut recently emailed me, indicating I needed to restart with a low credit limit. Seeking to improve this for my son's memorable Christmas, I contacted them, but despite explaining my situation and the ten-dollar payment (which had been made), they denied my request for a credit limit increase. This experience was humbling, considering my past struggle with health costs and credit issues. Despite my ex-husband's offer to cover the balance, Fingerhut remained unyielding. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist have dashed my hopes for a special holiday season. Fingerhut's actions have left me feeling disappointed and let down in my time of need.

Hello Fingerhut, I have been receiving calls on both of my phones claiming that I owe money for third-party insurance, which I did not sign up for. The only insurance policy I had was for accident and death insurance, which I canceled on October 10th, [redacted]. I have repeatedly asked Fingerhut to provide me with documentation proving that I signed up for the insurance, yet I have received nothing. I refuse to pay for something without proof of my consent. The sales representatives and supervisors at Fingerhut seem to be giving me the runaround on this issue. I simply want to see the papers where I supposedly signed up for the third-party insurance. If Fingerhut cannot assist me in resolving this matter and providing me with the necessary proof, I will not make any payments.

I have not received part of my order. After spending over half an hour on the phone with customer service, I inquired about expediting my order free of charge. The representative was unable to authorize this, so I requested to speak with a supervisor after a week of unsuccessfully tracking my order. Despite being put on hold for more than 10 minutes, I was finally connected to someone who claimed they couldn't hear me and abruptly hung up. How can I reach a supervisor directly? Is there a way to be redirected to an American call center? I find the foreign call centers too reliant on scripts, making it difficult to resolve issues efficiently. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I opened an account with Fingerhut on 2/8/14. I managed my account well until facing difficulties due to losing my job, my roommate moving out, and car troubles, leading to late payments. The account was sent to collections with LVNV Funding C/o Resurgent Capital Services in March [redacted].
I have been consistently making $66 monthly payments for about a year, reducing my balance to $[redacted]. I have requested a pay to delete from LVNV, but they advised me to contact Fingerhut for this arrangement.

I am confused as to why my payment did not go through, given that I have sufficient funds in my bank account. I have attached screenshots from this morning displaying my bank balance. You have my bank account details for debiting, but it seems you attempted to charge my outdated debit card number, which I no longer use due to security concerns. I cannot update this compromised information. Your records should show that my bank account, not my debit card, is selected for payment, as evidenced in the screenshots I provided. I refuse to incur any late fees due to this error on your end. Kindly rectify this situation promptly by processing the payment from the correct bank account. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to escalate it and report it to the Better Business Bureau.

I ordered a PS4, but instead of charging my account, they debited my bank causing my account to be negative by $[redacted].48. The breakdown is $[redacted].99 for the PS4, $29.99 for shipping, and $38.50 for tax. Sheila from collections offered me a lower amount, but the charge on my bank remains the same. I was assured it would be fixed in 3 business days, but now they're saying it could take up to 30 days. They claim I made the payment on the 11th, but why would I pay with insufficient funds? My credit limit would have covered the order. If I had the money, I could have bought it from a store for much less. The issue needs to be resolved, and I am seeking help beyond customer service.

I have been a customer for a couple of years and had an excellent payment history until recently. It all started with a few trial offers I received online. After canceling them, I was still charged the full price. My bank stopped my account when they noticed the issue. Fingerhut, you contacted me about my automatic payment, and I provided the correct information. Despite this, there was a mix-up with a previously cancelled card for the next payment, resulting in a late fee. After some discussion, the fee was removed. However, my credit dropped significantly from $[redacted] to $77. I bank with Wells Fargo, which has had its own customer service issues lately. Due to my own personal challenges, such as helping my sister and being on disability, I admit I may have missed addressing this problem earlier. I am now in the process of buying a home for my daughter and myself in Fresno. I found a comment from your credit department on my report regarding a late payment that has affected my credit score. I am willing to close my account if necessary, but I urge you to remove these remarks as they hinder my ability to secure a home loan. I apologize for not dealing with this matter sooner. I previously contacted customer service and unfortunately, I had a negative experience. The representative was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in my concerns. I made a purchase of a game and a controller on December 12th intended as a Christmas gift. However, without any notification, the game was canceled. When I inquired about it, conflicting reasons were provided for the cancellation, creating further confusion. Additionally, while one part of my order arrived, the controller was initially misdelivered to Maumee, Ohio, then sent back to Texas, resulting in a significant delay until it reached me on December 27th. This mishap ultimately affected the Christmas surprise I had planned. I am disappointed by the lack of communication and accuracy in handling my order. I am hoping for some form of compensation for the distress caused by this situation.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy J7 Neo phone at the end of August. I received it in September, and it has been a nightmare since then. After going through three phones, I am still unable to use it. I have paid twice to return the phone only to receive another one with network issues or locked phones, despite being told they are not locked. Both my company, AT&T, and Mint Mobile are unable to find the IMEI number. I am frustrated paying for a phone I cannot use properly. It's quite expensive for just using Wi-Fi for apps like Facebook and Messenger. I am unable to make calls or send texts. I had to get a new phone because my old one had no sound for ringing or notification alerts. This situation is causing me a lot of frustration.
