Earlier this evening around 7 pm, I went to the Family Dollar store located at [redacted] S. Main St, Duncanville, TX, store #[redacted], [redacted]. I wanted to buy (3) Canada Dry Ginger Ale fridge packs and (3) Coca-Cola fridge packs. The cashier wouldn't let me purchase them because I didn't have the Family Dollar App. Despite the sodas being on sale, the app would only discount $1. The cashier, a young lady, refused to assist me. I spent about 30 minutes trying to download the app unsuccessfully. Being a 73-year-old woman, I chose not to argue. It's disappointing to encounter such an employee at your store. This experience resulted in lost revenue and a lost customer for your store.

I had a terrible experience at the Family Dollar store located at [redacted] E Main Street in Grand Prairie, TX [redacted]. Despite 30 customers standing in line for over half an hour, there was only one clerk and an assistant manager working. The assistant manager took a long time to open the register, causing significant delays. This store needs improvement. I had a negative experience with a manager at the store recently. The manager was rude, followed customers without cause, closed the cigarette cabinet early, and blamed customers for mistakes. I bought a radio/CD player and upon opening it, I discovered it had been previously opened, with the front view window loose and of subpar quality. When I attempted to return it, the manager was called over by the clerk, and she immediately offered store credit without inquiring about the reason for the return or the issues with the product. Despite the online policy stating a 30-day return window, she claimed it didn't apply to electronics. She didn't address my concerns and insisted I return on another day with a better attitude. Frustrated, I mentioned using my A/E card and mentioned escalating the issue to them if we couldn't resolve it directly with the store.

I encountered a frustrating situation today. I attempted to reload my Bluebird debit card at a Family Dollar store where it is supposed to be free. However, every Family Dollar I visited informed me that there was a charge. Upon contacting Bluebird Customer Service, I was advised to inform Family Dollar that this is an official communication, reiterating their partnership, and requesting to speak to a manager if needed. Despite following these instructions, the store still refused. Unfortunately, the manager was preoccupied with assisting another customer, and my conversation with the outsourced customer service representative from Bluebird did not go smoothly. Eventually, I decided to go to Wal-Mart and pay the fee due to the ongoing issues. Despite searching online, I could not find a solution to this problem. It's been a frustrating experience that has left me feeling exasperated.

I've been frequenting the Family Dollar on Merrill Rd. in Jacksonville, Florida every week for the past four months with my four service dogs for training. Today, a new employee insisted I couldn't bring them in, and a security guard asked me to leave. Even after showing my trainer's badge and the dogs' IDs, he rudely claimed they are not legitimate service animals, alleging he had seen them outside before, which is impossible as it was our first visit. These service dogs, aiding veterans, are Federally Registered, and it is illegal to separate us. The situation has me furious, and I am considering taking legal action against the security personnel. This is completely unjust and against the law.

Eventually, commuting two hours daily became unsustainable. I have tried to get someone in authority to investigate and contact me regarding this matter, but no one has shown any interest in my situation. I wrote a letter to the CEO, Mr. Levine, but have not received any response. It has been over a month now, and I am still waiting for a resolution. I demand an investigation and a refund of my money. Good afternoon, I recently bought an item from one of your local stores and attempted to exchange it for a smaller size at a different store with my receipt in hand. The store clerk denied the exchange, mentioning that their store wouldn't receive credit, insisting I return the item to the original store I purchased it from, located 30 miles away. I bought a Total Verizon phone card from Family Dollar in Grayson, Kentucky, but they gave me a Verizon phone card which is not what I asked for. Today, I visited Family Dollar store #[redacted] located at [redacted] Alameda Avenue SW, Birmingham, AL 35[redacted]. After spending over $60, when I tried to return a teeth-thing ring, the store associate, a light-skinned girl with 4 or 5 braids with color and glasses, refused to give me back my receipt. This happened at 11:30 AM Central Standard Time. She mentioned it was against Family Dollar policy to return the receipt and claimed there was no manager on-site. I am concerned as I may have more items to return and retaining the receipt is essential. Can the store help me with this situation?

I recently began working at the Trinity location for renovation purposes. After working four days on the register unrelated to renovation, I decided not to go back. I arranged for direct deposit through my Go2 bank account with daily pay and received $75.00 on September 2nd. The rest of the funds were deposited into my bank account. However, when I checked my balance on September 8th, my card was inactive due to an invalid security code. Despite receiving a new card and activating it, I am unable to access my accounts and have been unsuccessful in reaching a human representative from any of the banks involved. I am seeking assistance in transferring my funds to my Cash App promptly.

I went to Culvert & Lodge store, but unfortunately, it was closed with a sign saying it would be back later. When I inquired about the reopening time, the person inside told me she was tired as she had been there since 7 am (it was currently 1 pm). The situation escalated when she rudely asked me to move away from her car, threatening me with harm and subsequently involving the police. My 63-year-old husband was also confronted by her, treated disrespectfully, and embarrassed. It was all very upsetting, especially considering she was just doing her job.

I recently made a purchase of queen-size sheets and teeth whitening strips but was overcharged. Due to being rushed out of the store before, I mistakenly got the wrong size sheets. When I tried to return or exchange them the next day, I was told both items were not returnable. After some back and forth between stores, a employee agreed to put the refund on a gift card. However, when I tried to use the gift card, there was an error, and I couldn't access the funds. All I want is to have my concerns addressed and to be treated fairly. The way I was treated due to being transgender was unacceptable. I've tried contacting customer service without success. If anyone can relate to my experience and offer help, please reach out. The manager of the Family Dollar in Roberta, Georgia is incredibly rude and frequently uses offensive language towards customers. There is a lack of care for the store's condition and customers' well-being. The store is in disarray with boxes blocking aisles, regular early closures, delayed openings, and sometimes not opening at all. As the only Family Dollar in town, the new manager, Joziah, has only made things worse. The community is disappointed by the store's unpleasant atmosphere, foul odors, and the manager's inappropriate behavior of playing music with explicit language. Many parents feel uncomfortable bringing their children to the store. It is clear that new management is needed urgently as the district manager has been unresponsive and unwilling to address any of the ongoing issues raised.

I have been a very loyal customer of the Rustburg, VA Family Dollar for years. I live right across the street from the store and have for 24 years. I have never seen the store in such a dirty and nasty shape. The medicine aisle is impossible to walk down as it is cluttered with items everywhere. The freezer area is a mess with unopened boxes of food stuffed in every available space. I had to move a box to get my pizza. Even after my visit at 5 PM, when my daughter went at 8:45 PM, everything was still in disarray with no employees around. She even mentioned a customer claiming the store had been remodeled and had no staff on duty. I have noticed this decline over the past month and it's very disappointing. If the situation doesn't improve, I might have to start shopping at Dollar General instead. I urge management to make a surprise visit and address the cleanliness issues promptly. Please bring back the cleanliness standards we used to have. Thank you.

I reside near the Family Dollar on North Gallatin Ave in Uniontown, PA, and I recently reached out to the store regarding excessive noise. The contractors working there were playing music loudly while painting, causing disturbance in my home. Despite my complaint, no action was taken by the store.
