I was informed that I am not welcome at the store anymore without any explanation. When I visited a few months later, the manager asked me to leave or threatened to call the police without giving a reason. Despite being a longtime loyal customer, I was treated rudely. Perhaps the issue arose when I witnessed the store and another manager smoking marijuana at the back. Since that incident, I have encountered no problems during my recent visits. However, during a recent visit, the manager was unwelcoming, causing me to leave my items at the register. Subsequently, a police officer intervened, resulting in me receiving a criminal trespass ticket. I seek clarification for this mistreatment as I believe it was unjust. I request that the matter be addressed and the staff be held accountable for their behavior towards a customer. I anxiously await your response. Thank you. - M.J.

This is concerning Store #[redacted] at [redacted] S. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando, FL. I encountered a highly unprofessional store manager, Carmen, on Saturday, April 1st at around 2:41 pm. As someone with over 20 years of management experience, I was shocked by her rude, condescending, and hateful behavior towards both myself and the cashier. When I inquired about a discount on damaged blinds, she was dismissive and had a difficult time calculating the discount. Despite my willingness to pay full price, she refused to sell them to me. It would be appreciated if another solution could be found for me to purchase the 35" blinds without having to deal with Carmen in the future. Sincerely, Jamy V.

While discussing how the manager treated my daughter rudely for wearing a hood, the manager interrupted and started using profanity toward me when I looked at her. I explained I was having a private chat with my daughter, not her. She then took the items I was purchasing, wished me a happy Easter, and called the police on me for the confrontation. The incident occurred on Easter day at 10:10 am. There is audio recording in the store to support my account. My daughter was deeply upset and embarrassed by the situation. This behavior is unacceptable. I urge action to be taken as this manager mistreats many customers regularly. Your company needs to address this issue promptly.

I was attempting to make a return at Family Dollar on Jackson Street. I wanted to return an iron I had purchased. The cashier Kimberly did not allow the return, claiming the item had already been returned. I disagree because I have my receipts and clear purchase date. I circled on the receipt to ease the process, but she insisted I couldn't return the item. I believe she acted unfairly. Please contact me for further assistance. Additionally, the cashier seemed disorganized with money scattered around during closing hours with many customers present. Your prompt attention to this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am Jassi Henry, a former employee of Family Dollar. I have encountered difficulties in obtaining my [redacted] W-2 form despite numerous attempts. Various channels have been unresponsive, prompting the IRS to recommend legal assistance for obtaining the document from Family Dollar. I am considering seeking legal counsel to address this pressing matter if no alternative solution arises. Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly valued. I reside in Greensboro, NC, and your assistance on this matter would be invaluable. Regards, Jassi Henry.

Our local store on Highway 48 in Roanoke Rapids, NC used to be well-maintained by the previous employees. Since they moved to a different store, the new Family Dollar staff has let the store deteriorate. The current condition is quite disappointing. The employees seem to neglect their duties, often seen on their phones and even smoking outside near the garbage can. This situation urgently requires attention and improvement. It's crucial to address these issues promptly.

When I arrived at the store, the staff appeared unwelcoming, watching me suspiciously as if I might steal something. I noticed a lack of communication between employees when one asked the others if they were okay, seemingly unaware of my visit. I mentioned that I needed to take photos as evidence of my presence, to which one of them replied dismissively, suggesting that I hadn't done any work. Despite this, I proceeded to take the pictures to validate my visit, determined to prove my efforts. Unfortunately, they refused to allow me to sign anything or provide any further information. Overall, my experience at this Family Dollar was disappointing, and I would not recommend it. This feedback is regarding the Hyer app with Acosta.

I bought a Cool Master fan on Friday, April 21st. Unfortunately, it made a noise when running, so I decided to get a refund with my original receipt in hand. The manager was rude and forcefully tested the fan, insisting I could only get a replacement if the box was opened. When I pointed out that they had to check the item, she still refused. I left without any additional purchases and I am really disappointed. I would appreciate a refund for this experience.

I accidentally left my wallet at the Family Dollar on Washington and Ritter in Indianapolis, Indiana [redacted]. I am currently at work and unable to go back to retrieve it. The wallet contains important personal information and bank cards. I've been trying to contact the store but can't get through. On 04/29/[redacted], I, Catina L., visited Family Dollar (#[redacted]) at [redacted] State St. East Saint Louis, IL. I picked up fabric softener marked as 2/$5, but it rang up at the regular price at the register. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, he called the manager, Arlesha. Arlesha, who seemed annoyed, mentioned that the sale hadn't started yet. I asked if they could honor the price since the sign was displayed, to which she sharply replied that I could pay the regular price or leave it. I was surprised by Arlesha's rudeness, as good customer service is crucial. Despite being a regular customer spending over $[redacted] a month, I now feel hesitant to return due to this unpleasant encounter. I hope the store addresses this behavior, as it impacts customer loyalty. Disappointed, Catina L.

I made two separate purchases and picked items from the clearance section both times. At the register, the cashier claimed they weren't on clearance. I showed where I found them and asked if they could honor the discounted price, like other stores would. However, both times I was told no and to come back in a few weeks for a sale. I encountered a similar situation with a different cashier on my second visit. Even after showing them similar items on clearance, I was refused the discounted price. It seemed like both cashiers were managers. The store was also messy and disorganized. I have decided not to shop there anymore and will inform others about my experience. Any reputable store would have honored the displayed clearance prices.

I am applying for an assistant manager position at the Austinburg, Ohio store but I am having trouble with the application process. The manager mentioned that I was hired at a Family Dollar store in August [redacted] but terminated in October [redacted]. However, I have no recollection of receiving any communication about being hired there. I never got a schedule, paycheck, starting day, uniform, or any notification about the job. This previous misunderstanding seems to be affecting my current application status at the Austinburg store, even though I was unaware of any prior employment at the other store when I applied.

Address: [redacted] TX-35, Tivoli, TX [redacted] My name is G.S., and I have fourteen years of retail experience, serving as an assistant manager for many years. I aspired to take on the role of manager for the new store in Bloomington, Texas. Despite my qualifications, Karem, the manager, hired her nineteen-year-old brother-in-law, Noah, who lacks experience with only nine months in retail. This decision was based on nepotism, ignoring the requirement previously mentioned by Albert, requiring ten years of retail experience for a managerial role. I addressed my concerns to Albert in a letter after unsuccessful attempts to contact him. I expressed my willingness to transfer to the Bloomington store, highlighting my readiness and competence for the position. However, I discovered through a co-worker that the store had been given to Noah unjustly, undermining my qualifications and experience. In a follow-up letter, I conveyed my disappointment in Albert's unprofessional conduct. Despite being next in line for the position, I was overlooked in favor of an inexperienced candidate. This decision disregarded the importance of age and experience. I emphasized my suitability for the role, expressing my dismay at the unfair situation I had to face at work.

The security guard at this particular location has been making me feel uneasy. As a young woman in my twenties, his suggestive comments and compliments about my appearance have made me uncomfortable. He even once paid for my items. The situation escalated during my last visit when he insulted and ridiculed me in front of other employees. At the cash register, when the cashier jokingly asked if he would pay for my items again, he replied, "No, she doesn't look that pretty today," and then proceeded to laugh in my face. I am deeply offended by his disrespectful behavior. I now feel disrespected and unable to return to my local Family Dollar store. I kindly request that the necessary action be taken regarding this matter. It's unjust that such hurtful comments are made, making it unpleasant to visit a Family Dollar store. The customer service has been lacking, and I question if it ever existed at this location, [redacted] Morang Dr, Detroit, MI [redacted]. I believe there is only one security guard at the store, but I do not know his name.

I went to the Family Dollar store in Birch Run, Michigan. I bought some items and asked the cashier to use my $3.36 change to purchase a candy bar for the child behind me. When I noticed the child leaving without a treat, I spoke to the mother who confirmed no money was given. After checking with the cashier, he falsely claimed the child received the candy bar. Despite confronting him, he did not return my change. The cashier, a young male with brown/black hair, denied providing his name and the manager, Nikki, refused to disclose it. When I contacted Nikki about the incident, she was unhelpful and dismissive. I am appalled by the employee's dishonesty and disrespect, as well as Nikki's lack of concern. I want to register a complaint and ensure appropriate action is taken against the staff at the Family Dollar in Birch Run.

I purchased a toilet shelf that was labeled $1.00, but when I got home, I realized I was charged $1.15. After going to another Family Dollar for help, they directed me back to the original store where the employee insisted the shelf was only $0.60 and questioned if I wanted her to cover the price difference out of her own pocket. I declined and requested a refund. The assistant manager pointed to her badge and mentioned she was in charge. I inquired about the manager's availability, and she mentioned he would be in the next morning and would likely say the same thing. I am displeased with the customer service and management at this Family Dollar location. It seems like false advertising, and I hope this issue can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I wanted to visit the store on John T. White and Sandy Lane this morning because it was listed as being open until 10. However, when I arrived at 9, the lights were on and employees were inside, but the door was locked. Usually, they close at 9:30, which is earlier than the posted closing time. Many customers, myself included, rely on the online information and end up disappointed. It seems that the manager prioritizes leaving early over serving customers and honoring the posted hours. It would be helpful if they could align their actual closing time with what is advertised online to prevent confusion and inconvenience.

On 5/16, I, David L., visited Family Dollar in Altoona. While shopping, I noticed a lady stealing items. At the checkout, she set off the alarms but was not stopped by the clerk. When the person ahead of me declined two gold dollars, I politely offered to take them but was ignored. Upon questioning why the lady was allowed to leave with stolen goods, I was rudely asked to leave by the clerk. I expressed my concerns about the situation and the clerk's behavior, but received no explanation and was unfairly banned. As a former manager, I find this incident disturbing and believe it warrants investigation. The clerk's reaction was unwarranted, leaving me perplexed and disappointed. I urge the store to address this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am having issues with my Walmart order, #[redacted]6. Despite several failed attempts to pick up my item at the store, the order was cancelled. I requested a refund after not finding my order at the store, but now I received an email thanking me for picking it up, which is incorrect. I demand the refund as originally promised within five days, which has now passed. I made the purchase under the name Jackie Settles, and my contact number is [redacted]/[redacted].
